Shadow had slept peacefully for once in what felt like forever to him. As he opened his eyes he seen Iris wasn't there. Jumping up he looked around his bedroom, "Iris? Iris, where are you?" Quickly he moved from his bed to his bedroom door only to see her at the dining table. Sighing heavily in relief he hung his head, "You ok, Iris? I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable... Thank you though. I finally got a good nights rest in a long time."

As he spoke he walked to the coffee pot and fixed a fresh pot. Once it finished he poured himself a cup of coffee and began to sip it sighing softly.

Ban

Ban rolled his cat eyes then moved to curl up on the pillow beside Leopold's head. Yawning and streatching for a moment before laying his head beside his, "We'll talk more in the morning about it all. For now sleep would be wise, plus do you think if she came out and told you who and what she was and why she is here that you would welcome her with open arms? No you wouldn't have. You and anyone and everyone else would have killed her on the spot and stop calling her that." Finally Ban closed his yellow eyes and softly began to purr.

Crimson Knife

Crimson had been sitting on the train for some time as had Leo, but Leo was no where to be found. Looking at the time on her watch she sighed heavily, "Where the bloody hell is he? If he doesn't get in here and I get chewed out for it I'm going to curse him." Shaking her head she returned to reading her book thinking Leo would show up sooner or later. However her mind couldn't focus until she knew Leo was in the same compartment as her. Slamming her book shut and throwing it into her seat she stood up and walked out of the compartment into the corridor and began walking down it looking for Leo.

Leo Stone

Leo never liked to sit still until the train was moving. Plus he always like to talk to other people, but this time he was sitting in a compartment with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger laughing and cutting up with them while Harry had gone to talk to Ginny, "No way he really said that? Good lord. Oh hell Hermione what time is it?" Before Hermione could tell him or look at her watch he grabbed her arm and looked at the time, "Shit! Crimson, is going to KILL me! I'll see you guys later if I'm still alive. If we get to Hogwarts and I'm not on a carriage then question, Crimson."

Ron and Hermione started to laugh and as Leo turned around he bumped right into Crimson. Compared to Leo, Crimson, was just a few inches shorter than him, "Crimson! Hey! Hi, I was ummm just on my way back I swear."

"Mhmmm sure you were. You know I get sick and tired of having to hunt you down year after year after year." Rolling her eyes Crimson turned toward Ron and Hermione and waved to them. Then she turned completely around and walked back to her and Leo's compartment as Leo followed close behind her.

Crimson was always "poor" to others, but she has always been a fighter in anything and everything. She fought for her food as a child since her parents were killed she was raised in a orphanage. Life has not been kind or easy for her, but she has always managed to find a way through it. Before she was invited to the ball she was a wandering "Knight". Shadow smirked softly then moved a little, so she could lay in the bed more. Looking over the blanket she had wrapped herself in he seen it had holes and some were pretty big. As she made a comment about a nightmare he chuckled softly and grabbed another blanket to lay over them, "Yes I agree. A nightmare can not slip between us now." When she moved to adjust herself he removed the blanket from her and laid another on them both, "I don't mind sharing and that has holes in it. I just hope you don't mind my arm drapping over your body." Gently he smiled as he laid his arm over her body then closed his eyes. Hearing her speak one more time he nodded, "Good night, Iris." Pulling her closer to his body as he held her tightly and smelled her hair. It smelt like damp flowers and he enjoyed it for it lulled him into a peaceful sleep.

Ban hopped off the desk and followed behind him. As Leopold walked into his chambers Ban jumped onto the bed and sat down on it watching him. Finally he spoke, "You have feelings for her don't you, M'lord? I watch you both and I notice things that neither of you will admit, but you can tell me. I am not going to tell a soul." Looking away Ban licked his paw then rubbed it over his ear as he kind of gave himself a bath then looked at Leopold again, "Yes I am a talking cat. I am Crimson's 'Guardian' so to speak. You know what she said is true. Every word."
