"Oh, look. Backup. Glad you made it in time." Though she didn't know who it was, she could tell it was an ally. Alright... Just go on over... She attempted to limp over to the shadows but fell before she got too close. Pain went through her as she landed on a burned arm, causing her to curse under her breath.

Then, trying to ease her tension, she laughed at the three. "Your kind is very merciless, I see... I'll note that down if I survive this..."

The blow sent Étoiles' head reeling to the side and caused her to apply pressure on the injured foot. She cursed under her breath. Keeping this up was getting harder and harder to do. What's so wrong with giving in? They won't stop pestering me about it until I do... But at the thought she physically shook her head, ignoring the angry eyes of Gaz. "If I'm so worthless, why don't you just kill me?" Her voice became lowered and dark, spitting blood after the sentence. She didn't want to die, really. But she knew they would let her live long enough to give them information.

She bit back a screech as the bullets came in contact with her skin. Étoiles nearly fell backwards trying not to put too much pressure on the bleeding foot. Still, she held her ground through the unbearable pain; the guilt would be worse if she gave her side away. Her lip began to bleed with how hard she was biting it as the two conversed. "I will not answer..." She muttered, trying to convince herself of the words. "I will not answer... I will not answer..." Her eyes began to glaze over in pain when she realized a sword would be used for torture instead of the flintlocks. Oh, the Rebellion definitely owes me one if I survive this...

She stared at the ground silently for a moment, as if deciding whether to give in and beg for her life, or to protect the Rebellion from the Parliament. Her eyes widened at the sight of flintlock, but she bit her lip. If I give in, the Rebels will all be killed... Stiffening at the words of Gaza, she flinched, but tried not to show it. She resorted to staring at the ground, nothing but the sound of her breath leaving her mouth. Finally, the girl spoke up, pain flashing in her eyes for only a moment. "...I thought you were supposed to be smart, sir... You can figure it out on your own, can't you?" The two sentences were a challenge for him, and she silently prepared for the pain that was soon to come.
