[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

As the group traveled deeper into the floor, the continued to talk about humans. "Hey Selena? You seem pretty knowledgeble about this stuff, did humans have typing, do you know?" Ember asked "Well... I don't know... there isn't much known about Humans... but, there are a few stories about Humans brought to this world that I've read about." Selena remarked. "I've read that Humans have stopped events that would have destroyed the world as we know it, from a Meteor that was going to collide with the planet, to even stopping time from stopping... though I'm not sure how much of it is true..." She concluded.

"If humans can do all that... maybe they just have some amazing power that normal Pokemon can't even comprehend... but if they don't remember they're a human, how do they know how to use it?" Ember wondered out loud. With a barely audible giggle from Selena, she stopped as she looked down a side hallway, catching sight of something the next room over. "Hey, I think I see those stairs Brick told us about over here." She said, spotting a strange staircase that led downward into the trunk.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town]

At the Guildmaster's urging, the two followed Glyph into the Town Center, where the entire town seemed to be gathering. As Glyph finally publicly announced the events that would be unfolding, Hikari was dumbstruck at the serious tone and the nature of what was going to happen. "That must've been what Krystal and the others came here for..." She said quietly to herself as Glyph continued his speech.

Following the speech, the crowd semi-dispersed, with multiple clusters huddled around the main square. The two approached the Guild Master when the chance arose. "Guild Master... now I see why you wanted me to wait until after your speech to decide... and my decision... it remains the same as before." She said, with fire in her eyes that Fuse hadn't seen since they were little. "Now that I know what danger that, not just Folio, but the world is in, I have to help. So please, I want to join!" She said.

A set of thundering footsteps could be heard, and felt, as a massive Pokemon approached as well. "Let the kid join, Glyph, she's got the spark of a great guildie." The voice said as Brute the Venusaur and Leanne the Meganium approached the stand. "Brute, are you sure about this? With your back..." She started, but Brute was here for a reason.

"And while you're at it... I'm coming back too. Bad back or not, I'm not gonna sit by and let my town become a war zone." He said sternly. "Well... if he's sure about this... then count me in too. Besides, if my little Selena is willing to do this, then I have no choice but to help." She replied.

"Looks like our kids dragged us into this too." Said another voice. Kyla, the mother of Ember, stepped forward. "I know Pepper would have stepped forward the first chance he got. If my girl is going to be fighting this, then so will I." She said.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Folio Town]

As Omen and his team neared the Entrance to the Trunk, they stopped when they heard Guildmaster Glyph giving his speech. Omen was shocked at first to hear that Glyph was actually publicly announcing it, but it only angered him as he realized that they should have known days ago what was going on. "It's about time... let's keep moving." He said, motioning for his team to follow him into the trunk. "Just where are we going, Omen? And why?" Serenity asked.

"I don't know. Something just feels off. It's just one of those feelings I get." He replied. "Like that makes me feel any better..." She said back. "Hey, at least we're doing something more than standing around and letting the world fall apart around us. Plus, this could be fun!" Krystal said as the group entered Folio's Trunk.

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
Brent's Party: Cyndaquil
Lily's Party: Chikorita
[Route 701]

The group walked in silence for a while, each most likely thinking about everything that had happened in their short time together already, and what would come when they came across the next stop on their journey together. Lily, for one, kept thinking about the prophecy told to her by Brooks, and her connection with Shaymin. She was snapped out of her thoughts when Brent stepped up his pace to reach the next hilltop. "Guys, we're here! That's Vertigo City!" He said, Lily running up to his side as he pointed to a sprawling metropolis before them.

"W-Wow, it's so huge! It's the biggest city I've ever seen!" Lily said in awe. "Yeah, but surprisingly enough it doesn't have a Pokemon Gym there." Brent said, looking at his Pokegear. "It does have a Contest Hall though." Lily darted off ahead, spinning around and hailing the group onward. "Come on then, enough talking, let's go see the sights!" She said as she continued down the path, Brent following behind.

[Vertigo City]

Once finally through the outlying gate, one could truly grasp how truly massive this city was. While the area they were in now had mostly 2-3 story buildings, when one would near the center of downtown, there would be the massive skyscrapers of numerous corporations stationed in the region. "Wow... this is kind of... overwhelming... but exciting! What should we do first?" She asked, before blushing upon hearing her stomach rumble.

"Well... I'd say since it's about noon, we stop over at the Pokemon Center and get some lunch. What do you guys say?" Asked Brent. <Lunch would be great, I'm starved!> Cyndaquil would remark. <Some food would be nice, considering how far we just walked.> Chikorita replied. <I'm not too hungry... but sure, if you guys want to, it's cool with me.> Shaymin said, hoving above.

Bryce Crest
Bryce's Party: Moss the Swampert, Striker the Manectric, Maya the Flareon*
[Vertigo City]

As the lobby began to fill up, Bryce decided to step away, heading up to an outdoor balcony that overlooked the Center's Training Field. Down below he and his Pokemon watched a most peculiar sight. Some kind of obstacle course had been set up, and a group of Pokemon seemed to be racing each other across it. "What are they doing..." Bryce would say to himself and his Pokemon, they too unsure of the scene unfolding below.

Luna Muuya
Luna's Party: Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, Sola the Bounsweet
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

<I don't know... where you guys... came up with this... but this is fun!> Torrent said as she raced alongside her party mates through the makeshift obstacle course made up of various pieces of wood gathered from the nearby woods after awaking from her power nap. Currently Hound was in the lead, followed in second by Flake, Torrent in third, and Sola in last. "Well... they seem to be having fun, that's good." Luna said to Gladion, as Sierra had left to go register for the Vertigo Contest, which would be taking place the following day.

<Well... this wasn't... exactly what we... had in mind... but it works...> Sola said as she attempted to overtake Torrent. <It's definitely going... to help... keep us in shape...> Flake replied in between breaths, barely keeping pace with Hound. <You guys are out of breath? Come on, you gotta do better than that!> Hound said as he bounded ahead.
Well it looks like Duthguy isn't interested anymore. Luckily his character was literally as close to being killed as possible.

Still though, a Reboot is the most likely option. However, given the limited interaction, I don't know if this would be usable. However, I could do kinda what Fusion/Xros Wars did. Instead of just being thrown into the chaos right off the bat, they have some kind of preminition, strange things start happening around them, a strange device falls from the sky, and then they get tossed into the Digital World. But this time, instead of getting dropped in a hostile sector or friendly sector, they'll be dropped in (probably the only one in the digital world) a neutral zone where they'll meet their partners.

Also that way, if there's anything you want to change about your characters, you'd be able to do it. I'll be a bit less restrictive this time since we have a decent group, but the basic premise of the RP will remain the same.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

Ember followed closely beside Lilisette, with Selena bringing up the rear of the group. This being their first time into the trunk, or a Dungeon at all, they were taking in everything they could while keeping an eye out for any Dungeon Dwelling Pokemon. "This place is so different from town... maybe it's just because it's a Mystery Dungeon?" Ember asked. "Maybe. Mystery Dungeon's are said to have some weird power that even Arceus can't explain. That's why they shift around and change their layout like they do." Selena explained.

As they approached the next room, Devon mentioned how being the leader felt familiar. "Or, maybe Devon was some kind of great leader in his world, and that's why he was chosen!" Ember said. "It's possible... and I doubt he remembers that, Lilisette. In fact... there's not much written about Humans. Only that they were summoned by strange power in our darkest hour, whether we know it or not, to set things right." She said.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

The Guildmaster's reply caught the two by surprise at how quickly he agreed and with little worry it seemed. "Just like that? I don't believe it... even with everything going on, he's going to agree?" Fuse thought as the Guildmaster continued, causing a nervous look to fall upon Hikari's face as Glyph turned onto a serious note exploring the dangers of being a Guildmate. Looking downward somewhat, she would reply.

"Well... I'm definitely not as strong as lots of Pokemon... the only reason I even made it here is because a team passing by was kind enough to help me." She sighed. "But I can learn, I can get stronger. I don't care if I have to train from daybreak until nightfall. I don't think there's one thing I've ever been more sure of in my life." She said, a look of determination now on her face, her confident stance returned.

Fuse looked over to the Guildmaster. "Eh, a bit overdramatic, but that's Hikari for you. Not much experience but all of the enthusiasm you could ask for." Fuse said, now with his own serious look on the Guildmaster. "Are you sure it won't be a problem, considering what's going to happen?" Fuse asked, Hikari looking over to him. "Huh? Something's going to happen? What?" She asked curiously.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Folio Town]

As the group considered their options, Omen had a sense that they were being watched. Looking up past the group, his eyes would lay upon one of the pillars of the Observation Post. "Huh? Did you see something?" Krystal said, turning around to gaze at the spot. Omen said nothing, but Serenity could tell by the look on his face that something had disturbed him.

And in his gut, in his mind, he could feel something wasn't right. He couldn't put his paw on it, but it kept eating at him until he finally decided to do something. "Come on." He said, starting to move forward. "Where are you going?" Serenity asked, cocking her head questioningly at him. "Wherever my instincts take me." He replied, continuing to move forward towards Town Center. With a shrug from Krystal, the two began to trail behind.
@Duthguy What about you? You still interested? Or you moved on?

@Forsythe If we reboot, I'll consider it, only if it fits with the rest of the group in some way. If we just continue on from where we left off, we'll keep things as they were.

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
Brent's Party: Cyndaquil
Lily's Party: Chikorita
[Route 701]

Lily looked back to the group as she got to her feet. "It should be fine. I might not be a Nurse, but I could tell the injuries weren't too bad." She said, turning towards the path to Vertigo and looking up for a moment. "The only thing I was worried about was that paw, but I wrapped it up pretty good." Brent nodded. "Yeah, like Devon said, there's not much you can really do in the situation if the Pokemon doesn't entirely trust you." He said.

As the group continued back on their current course, the Pokemon had some opinions of their own. <I don't see why he wouldn't trust Lily... she's one of the nicest people I've ever met.> Said Cyndaquil. <Well you haven't met too many, have you? But, that aside, she is one of the kindest people you probably will meet.> Chikorita replied faithfully. <Well, I'm glad I put my trust in her. If she hadn't helped me, if all of you hadn't... I don't even want to know what those guys would have done to me.> Shaymin replied to everyone who could understand her.

Michael Stint and Bryce Crest
Michael's Party: Turtwig, Glameow
Bryce's Party: Moss the Swampert, Striker the Manectric, Maya the Flareon*
[Vertigo City]

As the sun had finally taken position high above the horizon, the two trainers finally arrived in the bustling metropolis of Vertigo City. "Well, I think this is the place." Michael said as they walked through the hustle and bustle of the late morning crowds. "I have to say... it's big. I'm impressed, it might rival Rustboro in Hoenn." Bryce replied as the two trainers and their Pokemon walked along the main path.

They soon came upon the Vertigo Pokemon Center at last, and the two headed inside for a much needed break and breather. As they and their Pokemon had a cool, refreshing drink, the two talked about their future plans. "Me? Not sure. I think I might hang around Vertigo for a bit, might catch the Pokemon Contest coming up here." Michael said. "Oh, so they have Contests in Viore, too. Interesting. As for me, I might try and head for Riviera Town as quick as I can. Everyone here is excited to take on their first challenge here." Bryce replied.

<Oh, come on Bryce... you know you wanna stay for a bit... this kid made you smile, really smile, for the first time in forever...> Maya said, looking up at her trainer. <Come now, Maya, you know Bryce too well. He wants to do what he thinks is best for us.> Striker replied. <Ugh, sometimes I wish he could understand us perfectly. I'd give him some talk...> She said.

Sierra Hymn and Luna Muuya
Sierra's Party: Fennekin, Deerling
Luna's Party: Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, Sola the Bounsweet
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

Luna looked down at her Pokemon, trying to figure out what they were trying to say. "Well, what do you guys think?" She asked. The group decided that some type of Parkour Race would be something fun to try. However, trying to tell that to Luna would be futile through speech, so the group had to play a kind of game of charades to get the message through.

Both Sierra and Luna watched confusingly as the group attempted to show her what they wanted to do. "Jumping? No, Running? Spinning?" Sierra guessed as the Pokemon continued their little show. "Some kind of... race?" Luna asked, her Pokemon giving affirmatives replies as they continued. <Come on Luna, you're smart. Figure it out already.> Sola said, beginning to get frustrated.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

Following the group down into the first floor of the trunk, Brick gave them one more once over and went over the pointers he'd told them before once last time. "No fire, huh... that'll be tough, that's half my moveset down. I'll see what I can do though." She said, nodding as she looked among the group.

When the topic came up of a leader, Ember shook her head. "Definitely not me. I can barely keep myself in line sometimes. What about you, Selena?" She asked, looking over to the Bayleef. "I... think I'd be better suited watching the rear. Devon should take the lead." She replied, glancing over to the Totodile up front. Soon all eyes were on Devon.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

She'd heard the name a few times, but now it was just starting to bug her. Everyone seemed to be calling Ligero "Fuse". Maybe it was a nickname, but why did everyone call him that then? The thought would linger in the back of her mind as the conversation continued. "Hello, Guildmaster. My name's Hikari." She introduced herself with a slight bow. "She's an old friend of mine from my tribe. We happened across each other just a little bit ago. In fact, that's why we wanted to talk to you."

Fuse gave a sigh before continuing. "I know you're always on me about going and doing missions on my own, not having my own team and all. So, me and Hikari talked, and... well..." Fuse began to stutter, somewhat nervous about what was to come. "... We want to form a team together." Hikari finished his sentence for him.

"I know it's not exactly to code, her not being affiliated with the guild or being a Dungeon Dweller... but... there isn't another Pokemon on this planet I'd rather have more than her by my side. Except maybe Arceus..." He said jokingly with a legitimate smile on his face, recieving a playful jab in the side from Hikari. "So, please Guildmaster, please consider this." Hikari asked, somewhat confident on the outside but completely nervous on the inside at what his answer would be.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Folio Town]

After actually having to calm Krystal down, the group headed over to the Folio Town Observation Post to figure out what to do next. "Well... what do we do next?" Serenity asked, looking at Omen as he gazed over the vast Altepa Desert. "I'm not sure. I feel... conflicted..." He said, puzzling Krystal. "Why's that? We warned them, we should keep moving and warn other towns and villages on other continents." She said.

"I wish it were that easy... but something just doesn't feel... right..." He explained, closing his eyes and thinking. "Is it about what you said? About the darkness below Folio?" Serenity asked. "Or what about what you said... you felt like time and space had been warped?" Krystal asked.

"Both of those things are weighing on my mind right now. The Human IS here, that much I know. That's probably where the space/time warp comes in... but the darkness below still troubles me... it's like nothing I've felt since leaving the village." He paused, letting out a breath. "This town may be where major events may play out, but it's still not where the main event will begin. I'm sure of it."

The three continued to converse about their next course of action, but it seemed nearly impossible to decide when taking everything into consideration.

Luna Muuya
Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Sola the Bounsweet
[Orre Region - Aether Sanctuary Exterior]

When the man replied that there were apparently no wild Pokemon in Orre, Luna and her Pokemon seemed shocked. "Really? That's so weird... I always thought Pokemon could exist anywhere and everywhere..." She said quietly to herself, her Pokemon carrying on their own conversation. <No Wild Pokemon? Now that's just freaky... and what's a Pokestop?> Torrent asked the shoulder mounted Eevee.

Sola was immediately concerned by what the Sylveon said. <What? Pollution? How Bad? Should we be out of our Pokeballs? Is it safe for us to even be here?!> Sola quickly began to panic, Flake regaining her calm demeanor and moving over to comfort the grass type. <Now please calm down, Sola. If it were dangerous, would so many People and Pokemon be living here? Like at the port we came in at?> She said, somewhat easing Sola's nerves. <I... I guess not...> She replied, still unsure of the surroundings she was in.

The boy who had arrived, who hadn't even given his name yet, asked about the Tournament Rules as they started to head in. "Orre's standard battling style is a Double Battle? That's cool, actually." She said in reply, while waiting for the man's answer.
@Forsythe Yeah, I've noticed that a bit. There is (or was, not sure) like one big Digimon RP from the Old Guild I saw that was still going I think, but other than that there's very few that make it big or stay up long. I didn't expect to have many players in the first place, considering the flop of my first one.
@Forsythe @Duthguy @TalijaKey Any of you still interested in this? It's been a while, but we could probably pick up where we left off. If not, I'm going to be rebooting this with the same story and premise if anyone's interested.
