[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

@Forsythe I think it will work since your characters do like going Solo so much. However, we'll have to talk a bit about exactly How she learns about her power.

@Ryougu I like it. It's similar to some I've seen in the past, but it's got its own thing. Very creative.

@SleepingSilence I'm fine with multiple chars, but just two Humans max. Just one thing though, the Digimon aren't met until they enter the Digital World. I said that above, that they would be brought to the Digital World and then would have to find their partners. Also, I'm gonna have to say different partner for Felix due to Plot Reasons.

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
Brent's Party: Cyndaquil
Lily's Party: Chikorita
[Vertigo City]

With everyone (awake) agreeing with their course of action, Brent pointed over to a rather large modern looking multistory building just down the road from them bearing a Red Pokeball Symbol above the entrance. "Well, we don't have far to go, that's the Pokemon Center right there." He said, starting forward as he waved the group on. As they headed towards the center, Lily responded to Devon's comment. "Well, yeah, Goldenrod is one thing, but this place... Goldenrod has huge buildings, yeah, but look at those..." She said, pointing to the towering Skyscrapers of Vertigo.

As they headed on inside the building through the automatic doors, the Pokemon Center was already lightly crowded with trainers. Some Lily kind of recognized from the terminal at the Airport in New Amber, yet others seemed completely unknown to her. As they made their way through the crowd, Brent stopped for a moment at the front desk. "Excuse me, Nurse Joy? Which way is the cafeteria?" He asked. "It's just down that hallway, the first set of doors on your right. It's all you can eat, free of charge for trainers, and we also have seats outside if you'd like." She replied.

"Wow, that's cool!" Lily said happily, Brent nodding. "Yeah, the Pokemon Centers here in Viore are like that. Thanks, Nurse Joy." Brent said as the group moved towards the cafeteria as directed by the Nurse.

Luna Muuya and Bryce Crest
Luna's Party: Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, Sola the Bounsweet
Bryce's Party: Moss the Swampert, Striker the Manectric, Maya the Flareon*
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

Just as Gladion was beginning to talk about the dangers of overtraining, a loud crash was heard in the background. Luna to see one of the pieces of makeshift equipment had broken, and Hound had gone tumbling, hitting the ground hard. Flake, on the other hand, reacted swiftly to the change, jumping clear of the broken course and landing on all four feet almost gracefully on the ground before dashing over to Hound.

"Oh no, Hound!" Luna yelled as she too rushed over to her fallen partner, Sola and Torrent not long after. <Hound! Are you okay?!> Sola asked in a panicked state. <Ow, ow, ow! It hurts, it really hurts...> Hound whimpered as he held up his right front paw. Luna, seeing this, carefully examined the paw, touching it lightly as Hound winced at the light prod. "It might be bad..." She said, picking him up, careful not to touch the injured paw. "I'm gonna get him inside to Nurse Joy!" She said, quickly dashing towards the main building as her Pokemon, unsure of what to do in the situation, remained where they were in shock.

Meanwhile, Bryce and his Pokemon watched the scene unfold from above. "That did not look good at all..." Bryce said, shaking his head. <He landed hard on that leg... really hard...> Maya said, looking over to Striker. <Mhm... at least it happened right here at the Pokemon Center, and not somewhere out in the wilderness. It could have been much worse.> He replied.

The lone Pokemon on the ground now conversed about what just happened. <Poor Hound... I hope he's going to be okay...> Torrent said solemnly. <I'm just glad you didn't get hurt too, Flake. You were neck and neck with him.> Sola said, Flake now suddenly feeling almost responsible. <If I had gone first, I could have recovered easier than Hound... If only I was faster... stronger...> She said, looking down to the ground quietly.
Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Team Horizon - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F7]

With some unsure glances, the two continued with the group down to the next floor. The Absol was quick to follow, the two still keeping an eye on them as the group continued onward. Ember retook her position farther ahead of Selena, while she stayed near the rear with Brick. The pain in her leg still hadn't subsided, but instead was beginning to increase, albeit slowly. It was still manageable, but for how long she wasn't sure. For now, she'd continue to keep it to herself, surely it would eventually subside.

There wasn't much to say for now, the tension had somewhat raised with the Absol's appearance. But, as the possible stalker had stated, there seemed to be no Dungeon Dwelling Pokemon so far. However, they couldn't let their guard down, especially with a would be attacker behind them.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Team Daybreak - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio Town]

Fuse nodded in response to the Guildmaster's request, then shot a glance of sudden realization at the Dragon Type. "I should probably get her some gear first. Also... there's a slight issue... the Job Board in the Guild is completely blank." He said, Brute staring at him wide eyed. "You're joking, right? Never in all my time as a Guildie has that board EVER been blank. Man... things are really getting weird around here..." He said.

Moving towards the Guild, Hikari waved Fuse on. "Come on then, we can at least get whatever I need, then we can figure out what to do!" She said enthusiastically. "She's got a point, no sense for us to stand around wondering. Once I've got her set up, we'll come back and figure out what to do next. We'll be back." He said, starting off after his partner.

When given their assignment choices, Leanne spoke up first. "The Citizens of Folio are our first priority. That's something you never forget. Right, Brute?" She said, Brute carefully thinking about the choice. "Well... yeah, as much fun as my first Dungeon Crawl in years would be, Citizen Safety comes first. We'll head for Bloomingdale." He said. "I'll follow your lead then." Kyla said, the group of three quickly heading for the far reaches of the Folio Residential District.

[Folio Town - Hidden Grotto]

Only moments after Robel had passed out of sight, a figure came stumbling out of the Folio Underbrush that covered the Hidden Grotto. The figure raised its hand as the light of day gleamed into its eyes, as if it was its first time in sunlight in quite a long time. Turning towards the main town, the figure's gaze fell upon the direction of the Folio Guild. Destination set, the figure began stumbling towards town, in a seemingly weak but determined state.
@Burning Kitty From the way it looks now, it's not a character that I'm looking for. That being said, the CS barely has any information on it, so I can't really make a good judgement call. Here's mine as an example, and yes, I have two chars. I usually work better with Multiple Chars to control.

@SleepingSilence Eh, trying my hand at a Digimon RP again. This one's pretty good, and I've already got a few guys and gals.
@SleepingSilence Ey Silence, nice to see ya.
@Ryougu That wouldn't be a problem. In fact, it makes the experience a lot more real. In Digimon, the kids who get dragged to the Digital World have ZERO Idea of what happened, where they are, or what's going on now. So it would be fine.

When the voice came from behind them, Ember quickly jumped to the rear to face the unknown Pokemon with Selena. As the Absol walked by, they kept their guard up the same as Lilisette, very untrusting of this Pokemon. Keeping their voices hushed, they conversed about the Absol. "I've never seen him before... where did he come from?" Ember asked. "I don't know... I know an Absol came into town with a team, but this guy is different... I don't trust him." She replied.

As the Absol moved onward, Selena turned to Brick. "Have you ever seen him in town before?" She asked, Ember keeping her eyes on the Absol has he headed for the stairs.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Team Daybreak - Folio Guild]
[Folio Town]

Hikari beamed when Glyph accepted her as a Guild Member. Normally she would literally be jumping for joy right about now, but with the situation at hand, she kept a calm demeanor. "Then you and I are partners again, Ligero... but don't we need a team name?" She said, with a puzzling look on her face. "Well... what about what you were saying earlier? You said you'd train from Daybreak to Nightfall, and Daybreak has a nice ring to it..." He had to say no more. "I love it! That's it! Daybreak, Team Daybreak!" She exclaimed.

As the two lions talked among themselves, the Parents continued speaking to Glyph. "Now's not the time to get all mushy and sentimental on us Glyph, just point us where you need us to go and we'll get to work. It'll be just like the old days..." He said, Leanne nodding. "Whatever ways we can help, we'll do it." She replied. Kyla merely nodded, everything needed to be said having been said.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Sanctuary - Valiant Village Guild]
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

"So what are you sensing, anyways?" Krystal asked, looking up at Omen. "Danger. What else? Someone, I don't know who, but someone is in danger in here." He said, closing his eyes. "The darkness is almost the same as what lies below us." Serenity's expression changed from confused to worried now. "So whatever's going on, it has to do with what's coming?" She asked. "I'm not sure, all I know is that this is what my instincts are telling me to do." He replied, continuing through the maze of tunnels and rooms searching for the next set of stairs.

Digimon
Genesis

"In a Civil War, there is no winner. Both sides have lost, as they are the same side, pitted against one another. Is that a life we want to live?"

The Digital World

The Digital World was once a peaceful realm, where the Digimon lived under the protection and governing of a group known as The Council of Five. Comprised of the most powerful known Digimon, they ruled with a just hand, and would fight to the last breath to protect their world.

However, the leader of the council knew that they would not be enough to protect their world forever. After speaking with the Harmonious Ones, the leader learned the fate of many other Digital Worlds that existed, cast into darkness until freed by the light of Chosen Humans, creatures from a world parallel to their own.

The leader of the council then decided to follow a similar path, and began to craft several devices that would be sent into the realm of humans at the time of their need. The council agreed on the course of action, save for one. Susanoomon. He believed that Digimon are strong enough to protect their own world on their own. As time passed, he became disillusioned with the council.

The day came when the Council's plan neared completion, but Susanoomon would have it no longer. He cut ties with the council, and sparked a Civil War between the Digimon and their ideals. As the war reached the remaining council, they knew now was the time, and initiated their plan, sending the numerous devices into the Human World, before turning to face their former ally.

Today the Digital World has changed. Following the Defeat of the Council at the Hands of Susanoomon, it was divided into 50 Sectors. Civil War still rages, with those who follow the council struggling to combat against those who side with Susanoomon...

"United we stand, divided we fall, reunited we are undefeatable."

Factions of the Digital World

The Digital Army
The largest faction in the Digital World, they fight for Susanoomon, the one who turned on the Council and began the Digital Civil War. They are filled with powerful Digimon, ranging from Rookie to Mega and those in between. Betrayal is met with swift punishment, and often execution by Susanoomon himself. This group despises the Humans, and seek to capture, or destroy, any who they find.

The Resistance of Light and Hope
The smaller of the main warring factions in the Digital Civil War, this group remains loyal to Alphamon, leader of the Council of Five, and the Council. They believe that the Humans possess something that will save their world, and want to protect that power with their lives. Their goal is to defeat Susanoomon and their forces, and to find the Humans brought to their world.

The Neutrals
These are Digimon that refuse to fight in the Digital Civil War. They have refused to choose a side, and live out their lives as normally as possible in the different sectors of the Digital World. However, many times push comes to shove, and they are forced to pick a side. Although both the Digital Army and Resistance acknowledges their neutrality, there is little they can do when conflict finds them.

The Unknowns
These are Digimon that hold no allegiances to the Digital Army, nor the Resistance, but still actively participate in the Digital Civil War. Their ambitions are unknown, and little is known about who they serve.

"Some take it upon themselves to do what they cannot. It is only after they have seen past the lie that they can see the truth of the situation."

The Humans

The Humans chosen were chosen for a reason, for traits that each possessed. Because of this, they were brought to the Digital World and bestowed a device known as a Digivice. The device would turn into the color that best suited the trait that they possessed and were chosen for. How they used that trait, and sometimes discovered it for themselves, would be up to them to decide.

As for partners, there was not time to create Digimon suited for them, so they would have to find a Digimon who shared their feelings. Sometimes, with a little help from the Harmonious Ones, it would not be as difficult as it seemed. Only together could the Humans free the Digital World from its darkness.

Rules and Guidelines

Try and keep things PG. Cursing/Swearing is allowed, but keep it low on graphic sequences.

Drama IC is acceptable to an extent. Drama OOC is not acceptable and should be taken to a PM.

Death of characters is a REAL possibility. It doesn't just have to be due to inactivity, any character at any time could be killed for any reason, so be aware of the situation!

I'd personally like to stick to basic Digivolutions (Standard, Warp, DNA), and staying away from stranger/special Digivolutions (Armor, Biomerge, Ancient Spirit, Fustion/Xros). However, I may be lenient if the idea is good enough.

While I don't expect immediate posts, posting frequency is a serious factor I consider when accepting RPers. Keep that in mind when posting a Character.

Basic Guild Rules Apply. Remember to be cool like the Fonz.

Luna Muuya
Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Sola the Bounsweet
[Orre Region - Aether Sanctuary Exterior]

Luna was visibly nervous as they finally headed in, and she ended up returning Flake and Sola as to not take up too much room in the Elevator. After everyone was in, the Elevator slowly headed up into the facility until it finally stopped and the doors opened to reveal an interior almost exactly similar to Aether Paradise in Alola.

As their guide led them to the rooms they would be staying in, Luna graciously took the key offered to her. "Thank you." She said kindly, looking to the other trainers around her. "I'm going to take a minute to myself, then, I won't be long." She said, moving to the door with her name on it. As she scanned her keycard in a machine next to the door, similar to many hotels, she heard a click, and the door would unlock and open with a turn of the handle.

Inside the room was very... plain. There was a single bed, along with a wall mounted television and a few chairs and furnishings. There was also a Computer Terminal in the corner. Finally inside, she released her two Pokemon stored away in her Pokeballs, as they all took in the surroundings. <Well this is... something...> Torrent said to her companions as she jumped up on the bed with Flake and Sola. <Well, it's better than nothing.> Sola replied, Flake nodding, then releasing a wide yawn.

Luna smiled before heading over to the corner terminal. It appeared to have a digital web camera built in, so she could use it to call her parents back in Alola, which she promptly did. "Hey, mom. Well, I made it here, and to be honest, it's really nerveracking." She said, her mother on the screen smiling. "Oh, give it some time, honey, you'll get used to it soon. Just give it your all and have fun." Her mother replied.

After a bit more conversing on the phone with her mother and father, she finally ended her call with them. As she turned and headed for the door, she stopped and looked at the bed. Sola and Torrent were still talking, while Flake had curled up rather comfortably and fallen asleep, tired from the walk they'd taken that day.

"Well, who wants to come with me?" She asked. Torrent looked over to Sola. <I'm fine with staying here for now, those other trainers give me the creeps about as much as this Region.> She said, Sola nodding. <Yeah, I know what you mean. That boy didn't even give a name, that one girl is just... I don't know, but that Lady seems too upbeat for her own good. I'll keep Luna safe.> She replied, jumping up onto Luna's shoulder.

"Sola, then? Alright, don't mess this room up while we're gone, Torrent. I'll know it was you, too, Hound's not here." She told her water type partner. <Wow, it's like you don't trust me or something, ha!> Torrent replied sarcastically.
