Want to do a slice of life romance, in the MHA universe. SoL is good with an interesting backdrop.

Bio

I don't know how to make this all stylish yet. I'll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time ahem:

Hello! I am currently writing a script for a fantasy story I plan on animating (Using the program Poser) Rping really helps get my creative muscles flexing and I'm going to be incorporating some character ideas into the RPs I produce with other people. This could include Male or Female. I really try to challenge myself.

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of epic scale narrative, and breathing life into a story is a great passion of mine. Seriously I watch trope talk pod casts and how to write, just to make my script as effective as possible.

I am versatile. I love things with emotion, whether Romance, Grim, Adventure Thriller, or even Comedy. Above all else, I love to entertain. I hope to do so with you.

I also have a 1X1 interest check.

The Kikimora? Aww. She was going to be my fall back choice to date if the Owl Harpy was too proud of the loss to hang out. I need some character development and confidence for Ozzy.
@SaturnSenshi

Well, first things first. Make it very clear on the themes and tropes you want to try. A little background or setting description really helps. Also, pictures and art make it more attracting.

Now the whole hostage negotiation thing to start with is fine with a smaller group. As a first timer, I wouldnt have the groups be split up and instead think of a reason how everyone, human and monster would be on the same side at the beginning.

Maybe a mystery group ambushes the exchange, and everyone starts as prisoners.

"As you can clearly see, Sir Skyway here is a male monster. The laws of this world have clearly changed or at the very least, bent. Who knows what a human-monster couple can give birth to if Sir Skyway was made from a union of a human and a mosnter?"

Ozzy also spoke up. "My mom was a harpy." He saw the problem. "I mean, I'm technically new data. The definition of monster can be updated."

But it turned out, this was the turning point. He hit a streak of bad luck as the questions were either something he didn't know, hesitated, or just wasn't as quick as the other contestants. He was blown away, each miss causing his confidence to sink further and further. He didn't know how he could compete with an ancient lich, but the other two should be more or less like him, just studied, but somehow he kept losing out on the hand raise. He was sweating, gritting his teeth as the game all tied out, with finally the interruption, and the game determined by one last question.

He had to put his all into this, all or nothing.

"Now for the last question: Are all the oceans and the seas in the world controlled by the goddess Poseidon?"

To win this, Ozzy had to go for broke. Try to follow each word in the question and determine it. Immediately with 'Are' he determined it to be a yes or no, okay, 50:50. Then 'all' meaning its complete. Oceans and seas... okay goddess Pos- he raised his hand the moment before she said the previous syllabel.

Everyone raised their hand, easy enough question but when it was he that beat them, he shouted. "YES!" He didn't go further into it, cause that's all that was really needed.

He hoped, he prayed.

Hey there. I wouldnt mind being a monster. I love weird races.

This has a carnival row vibe to it.
I should have mine in tonight.

Ten minutes was hardly anytime at all, and the sudden requirement made the reindeer immediately lose a bit of her luster, and she was quickly losing it from her half assed answer before. She was quick to realize her gym bag was in the locker. "I'll be right back!" and back out the door she was again.

She managed to arrive in her gym clothes, her winter ones, she was covered practically from her neck to the middle of her fingers as she seemed to be wearing multiple layers. No wonder she needed the time, she had more clothes on. She was already panting as the class lined up for the quirk demonstration.

Her antlers were 'SOS'ing in red, green, blue, and purple as she stood there. Her legs was shaking as she realized this was going to be the most difficult part of today. She knew her quirk was trash. There was no way it was practical or useful to even be be considered. She looked at the others, half of them already with cool mutations. Then she looked to the far side. The support class... maybe she belonged with them. Her and her rotten luck.

First was Nadeko, and her... wow weird arms, but it was immediately evident she had magnetism powers. Carol knew xman. Magnetto was top tier, so that was going to be useful.

Then Kou came up. Gum powers, somehow that made sense. Great for mobility, reach, sub dual, you name it. She gave him a 'thumbs up' after his display after a little clap.

Tarata was up with her cloak and "HOLY GRAMCRACKERSH!" she said when the weights went flying. Yep, definitely a bad ass.

Nakamiji was next, and *shocking* he flew. However, his jump, his dive, his twist and turns. Ba Dump, he was so, graceful out there. Carol's antlers and cheeks went a little red just watching him.

Kouji went next and showed off some wind power. So an actual air bender from that old cartoon show. So awesome! She wondered if he could do the same thing and the keys were just a demo.

Yang was probably the most interesting, and Carol expected him to just tear things apart with his blobby limbs. But then, a teddy bear, a cube, a flashlight. It was weird, cute, disturbing, and honestly at one point Carol's lights lit yellow as she tried to stiffle a laugh, holding a hand over her mouth and her stomach. The showmanship was appreciate. She clapped her hands at the end of the show. "Bravo!"

Nova did her thing and just as amazingly, she could let her wings grow and she was also a capable and accomplished flyer. Speeding through the gym, but Carol noticed the lack of wind this time unlike Acion. They only noticed because of the other aerokinetic and her mind was taking mental notes. She would have shown her amazement and support until she realized....

Carol was next.

The whole time she was watching the others, she forgot about her own demonstration, and immediately, PURPLE lights flashed in alarm from her antlers. Her whole body shoke all over before she stood up straight and nodded, rather stiffly stepping ahead of the class. She prepared this procedure. She put alot of work into it. She had to do... something to make her quirk appear more useful and special than it actually was. She turned and faced them, a dozen much more talented people with cool awesome powers. And what did she have?

"I'm uhh, going to- shhow you my quirk... but I-" she needed something. A prop. Something that lights up. She recalled where Donny got the flashlight. "Pleashe jusht, wait right there." She held out a hand and then went over to the boxes that were nearby. She was muttering to himself as she dug around. "C'mon, give me shomething. Ahah!"

She returns with a lamp. Somehow there was a lamp, night shade and everything, a rather old one. Carol has a big smile, and red cheeks as she presents it, putting it infront of her. She then takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and slaps her hands together. Her antlers seem to all light up yellow at once, and much brighter then usual. Her nose joins in, shining a bright festive red. For those that could feel it, there was a certain... electricity around her, like static, enough to make the hairs on your skin rise if you are close enough. Her antlers then begin blinking in a rather cheery rythmn of whites and yellows as Carol suddenly runs a few steps to her left before planting her feet and then doing a cartwheel back in the other direction, her form obviously practiced. Midway into the wheel, three lights, a yellow one, a green one, and a blue one suddenly seem to appear in a small burst of light with the occasional like jolt of electricity between her antlers. They stayed floating in midair until she got back onto her feet, then she reached out her hands, grabbing all of them out of the air, balling them together before she flung the lights at the lamp like she was throwing a snow ball at it. Another flash of light and lances of lightening swirl around the appliance.

And then... nothing happens.

She stays in that position, like shes about to fight the lamp. A few seconds pass, before Carol realizes whats wrong. She yelps and she kneels down, actually turning the lamp on via its switch. And sure enough, the lamp turns on, without being plugged in. Carol then gives a big smile back to the class like it wasn't the lamest thing ever, and a second or two later, the lamp dims and goes out, along with Carol's antler lights as she turns off her quirk.

She then clears the lamp away without saying a word, gets back to her spot in line, and then just drops her head down, her antlers casting a dim blue... completely ashamed and embarrassed and tries not to think about how she's going to be kicked out of the program.

Honestly when Kou reached out to touch the light, Carol withdrew the light and raised another hand stopping him. She literally was about to explain why it wasn't a good idea but then the teacher got everything started. This made Carol snap to attention. Class was starting, ready to learn. Ready to be a hero. She'd talk with Kou later... maybe others too. A deep breath to center herself and the field of energy dissipated, the lights dimmed and she was back to normal.

It was a combination of keeping her eyes on Mako Sensei and then looking to each member of the room in kind. Her notebook, something quite childish designs with stickers on it that said 'Property of Carol Tenebaum' in felt marker, hit the desk and she was writing as fast as she could, giving every face to a name. It helped her remember.

Licorice - Donny Yang
Soap Box - Kouji Majima
Violet - Yukari Yozakura *Friend 1*
Phones - Horiyama Kousuke *Friend 2*
Sigourney Weaver - Dulga Tarata *Def secret badass*
Snooze Button - Junko Kurowai, and incidentally the information of the teacher and her previous villain past made Carol kind of pause as her antlers flashed red for just a second. She wanted to look up the teacher on her phone but considering her turn might come up, thought against it. It was scary, but kind of exciting.
Panda Hood - Hana Saki
Eyebrows - Alice Nova
Cute Angel <3 - Acion Nakamiji

And then as the room was called out, she realized as each talked, they had a bunch of good reasons. Awesome reasons. Better reasons. Her pen stopped as she suddenly came to the realization. Why did she want to be a hero? The finger made it to her in that moment, and she dropped her pen. Her antlers shimmered and flashed with greens reds and purples before she stood up and loudly announced with reddened cheeks. "Hi! I mean- Hi every- everyone." She stammered a little before centering herself. "My name'sh Carol Tenebaum from Alashka, United Shtatesh. A hero ish, a hero ish... well- shuper cool I guessh." She said kind of being a loss for words. "They help people and people love them for it. And, uhh I kind of want that." She began to play with her fingers, her antler lights going crazy. "I mean, I like to help people, and it feelsh good to help people. I love doing it." She realized she was blabbering. She gave a nervous smile before sitting back down. "If that makesh any shenshe."

"You watch yourself, Sir Skyway."

Atleast he got a last name. He gave her a smile, though a bit more nervous then he intended since it seemed challenging. "Aww. I'd rather look at you." Was that a... flirt? It was just as surprising to him. Maybe the first point made him bolder. He turned his attention back to the judge, suddenly feeling really silly. He hoped he didn't tick the Owl Mage off.

"Should a human copulate with a monster, would their offspring always be a monster?"

Ozzy raised his hand... but again, the Owl Mage seemed the most determined to wind. Dang she's fast. But then there it was. The hesitation. This honestly felt like cheating, but it was in the text book, the answer was on the cards. They could debate for days later about the specifics but this was victory or date! Double victory!

He leaned forward wing raised high. "Yes! All human monster couples produce monster children!" Even he was proof of that, though now that he mentioned it, the encyclopedia on monster species did say female monsters... atleast in the earlier versions.

And slowly her fellow classmates trickled in. Little by little. She was surprised that the majority of them were girls. Interesting since the hero circuit was primarily males, but that was just an extra bit of enjoyment on top of things. She wasn't great talking to guys. That was just the usual teen jitters she realized. But that would change this year. She'd make friends. Boys and girls. Everyone in her class if she could help it. She wanted to get a bit more with Yukari.

Sudden she felt a tap on her shoulder. She was looking the other way around at the class, seeing the numerous conversations that more or less broke out, getting more and more excited that it seemed most of the class was pretty open. Her head swung back, her antlers lighting up with a combination of red and purple that blinked twice.

It was the boy with the phone, err the translator. The brightness of him along with a smile. It was a welcome sight. Enough that she was beside herself. Her white cheeks went a shade of pink and her antlers went yellow brightly. A boy was talking to her... DONT SCREW IT UP! Horiyama Kousuke. "Hi Kou-shan!" Her response came a bit louder then she intended and she nearly jumped in her seat, making her instinctually reach up to make sure her glasses were okay. One light when red, another green before she grumbled and sat, her hands folded and a smile forced. It was quite obvious she was trying very much to be cool and failing. "Im Carol Tenebaum. But jusht call me Carol. It'sh nicshe to meet you." Curse that stupid lisp!

She then asked about her quirk. She knew at some point she would have to show off. She let her hands rest in her lap, all the while the index fingers fidgetting as she struggled to find the words. "Yep yep. While it looksh like a mutation itsh actually a transhformation type. Here' I'll show you." She took a deep breath and seemed to hold her breath.

A moment of effort later, the lights took on a rather bright vibrance in intensity and color. Her hair ruffled a bit, there was a spark between her antlers. Most unusually, her nose seemed to glow... and glow and glow brigher, becoming a nice vibrant red. it looked like she was wearing christmas ornaments. There was also a weird static in the air around her, like enough to make the hair on your arm stand on end. She was still kind of blushing but her excitement pushed through. "Now all i got to do is..." She didn't know how it would look as shes sitting and didn't want to make a nose and disturb others, so she just kind of flailed her arms up and down for a few seconds like she was trying to dry off her hands by flicking them. Eventually.

POP

A little light suddenly appeared between her antlers and suddenly started floating towards the ground. Carol grabbed it in her hand, then holding the light in her thumb she moved her fingers and open palms towards him. "Tadaa! Jazzsh Handshs."
