I'm having difficulty coming up with my abilities...I guess its trying to incorporate the chocobo into everything any thoughts?

Chocobo knights have lances besides your abilities are in speed and that powerful moment of impact as a strike with the lance. You've got tactics at your disposal instead of a large array of tools and weapons, that being said it's not easy coming up with ideas beyond Strike. So here's some suggestions.

Stun: While riding the chocobo you are able to use the ability "Feather Daze Dash" which is like sonic rush from Kingdom Hearts 1. When you hit a foe with this move it stuns them as your quick speed will have them in a daze. Sure it has damage but it's focused on confusing a foe.

Defense: While riding the chocoho you are able to use the ability "Dodge and Duck" which is a tactic where you alter your behavior, making movements more subtle instead of proclaiming your courageous motions for your enemy to predict, in a sense you wait for the foe to strike, analyze your environment then use the speed you posses as a tool to out maneuver foes, sometimes able to counter attacks.

Disable: While wielding the Lance you can impact a foe, or part of their clothing to a surface such as a wall to get them pinned down. Short sweet and simple until you reveal the "Finisher Deluxe" which consists of your chocobo moving real quick then slamming on that lance in the case that it's sticking in a foe's shoulder or stomach perhaps. Yeah it consists of mostly damage but the start if that Disabling Pin Down.

Enabler: Your chocobo releases some magic, casting Hastaga on the party while simultaneously casting Slowaga on foes. Sure it does both disabling and enabling but the primary feature here is the Hastage for your party.

Skill: military tactics, military survivalism, um experience in the wild, traveler's knowledge of geography, map making, biology, ranching, what ever makes sense for the character.

Now "strike" looks like the boring part of your character.

Edit: thank Fate/Zero for being a cool and inspiring action battle anime when it's not earning that rated MA with detestable characters.
I hope that my CS is ok. Let me know if anything needs to be changed.

I read it and found myself intrigued by the history section. The planet guiding him through the world. And a forest village near a Fay Mau will be fun to see some time, as well as visit locations of this characters history. As for the geomancer class you've got much more you can do and your current resume build is only a small portion of that potential since magic of the earth does a lot of things. In fact you're much closer to the patrons than the summoners of Navire.

Oh quick warning, don't touch Nethicite.

And as much as I want to finish this sheet tonight... I really just can't. I'm already half asleep and I seem to have troubles writing sensible already. -__-' Well will have to finish tomorrow. So I'm gona post the WIP here so I can continue it later.

Hmm I'd like to see the culture of this character's home. I understand it's still WIP here so I won't go in on current details.
Let's hope so indeed. BTW here is a question, is it okey to make a race of beings who's bodies gather magical energy? They mostly won't be able to use it though as the sheer amount of energy inside their bodies will cause almost any magic to go rampage and harm them greatly in the process?

Magic gathering bodies. Well by ff way, all beings have magic but some more than others so it's not a push at all to have magic bodies such as genie. Since there's no power level and no stats i don't mind you being pure magic at all, given that you'll play by the story well enough to convey a plot with the character. I think i said everyone's like "level 15" and that changes per game but generally speaking everyone has an array of abilities that fit the "resume" character sheet that sort of serve as how function someone can be in combat with more combat making someone really hard to use outside of combat. The best solution to combat/story balance is having the culture and backstory of the character be important too since I wanted to have people make places for us to visit, making the story more personal.

So just make sure the race has life, not just a flow of magic.
I've been watching this and I have to say I'm interested. Would there be a place for a chocobo knight?

yes absolutely. However you'll need to be from the second continent, which has Ventus, Terra, and Glacieum Mau.

that continent is rampant with chocobos since Ventus Mau, the wind mountain, has "(spoiler)" on it.

As for the left most continent, that's like imported only with ranches popping up but not super popular.

:u but that being said you can ride any color of chocobo and vary the chocobo knight in any manor since it'll be from a custom kingdom.

edit...

On a side note this has become a lot like a world building game than a role play, im perfectly happy with that but with so much effort going into detail I think it'll slow the progress of telling the actual story since we've got 1 character and kingdom set with others in progress. I hope it'll all be done by the weekend.

The video was private ;^; Also, I love the map :D

Ummm try it now. i think i reset the settings right this time.
Okey, as a final fantasy fan, I can't say my interrest wasn't picked the moment I saw Final Fantasy displayed. Are there by chance any free places left for me to join?

I havn't been counting how many different people have shown up but I was willing to make it a large group in the INT check so go ahead and join.
Do we create our hometowns, or do we use what's on the map?

The map is for creating kingdoms since you can place a black dot to make a kingdom, if it has a specific environment then I can change the map a bit to create a landscape as I did with Caelum which floats over a black sea and Aqua Mau which is a mountain that erupts with water instead of lava. Both have that dark blue instead of Ocean blue. Then there's like 11 mountains that I've set up across the world which serve sort of as regional barriers between parts of each continent.

Anywhooo you're free to create kingdoms anywhere on the map but if you're going to have a character from a far away place such as Draco Mau then you'll probably be an old character who's traveled for most of his life since a the travel scale is about a week from Navire to Lux Mau by horse on a monster and obstacle free road (that's pretty much non-existent).

A kingdom can call a mountain by a different name, what we have here is Navire's naming and language on the map. Since it's a blend of cultures it is hybridized Navirenese and Latin (Latin is "Common" on the top left continent).

Another bit about Kingdoms, since each has a Patron they are spread apart by about a weeks travel since Patrons don't mingle with each other except during battle. The kingdoms without Patrons, which have been called false kingdoms, are located close to resources where Patron Kingdoms are located to important monuments. Caelum is a good example as it exists on floating islands over a deadly ocean instead of a safer location which easy to claim resources.

Navire is no different as its nearest resources is Lux Mau's Magicite with dangerous forests located around the mountain. Navire sits pretty much in the middle of nowhere with farmland surrounding the kingdom's interior. It's been no cake walk for them keeping up an economy. Pretty much everyone is middle class in comparison to Tarven and Shuben that actually mine Magicite at the cost of people.

Anyway! :o to tldr your Question, you may create your hometown anywhere on the map if you want to make a hometown/kingdom.
On an unrelated note, did anyone see the video I posted in the OP?

I found a cool ass song and put the banner on it.

;-; it would be a tragedy if no one could see it.

"That's ok Kirito, I admit that I haven't been the best pall either." Mikone said, wondering if that was going to be relevant in her future with her team. She'd need to be more than reliable as a friend because a squad of four was just going to make being a cohesive unit all the more difficult. Group projects were just like that, tough on everyone and especially anyone who pulled the most weight. The young girl thought about it but the more she did the more her train of thought derailed into a wall. "I'll contribute everything I have to us!" She said perhaps a little too loudly. But even with her enthusiasm there was doubt in her tone, which almost made her come off as sarcastic but probably more nervous than anything.

Wow thank you! I wasn't expecting such accolades o.o You're making me blush XD It's still a work in progress, and I plan to smooth out some issues with it as well as make it more detailed in the future. Is it okay if I put it in the CS tab?

YESYESYES

I would love to make a Geomancer, if that's possible, under the 'mage' catagory. If given the ok for this, I will start my CS.

"Geomancers use bells as weapons, and equip light tunics as armor. They can walk across dungeons without fear of traps like pitfalls, or damaging floors like lava. Their signature skill is Terrain, which lets the Geomancer execute special attacks based on the terrain the party is fighting on."

Yes but you'll need to be from another kingdom to have the class.
