@Ryuzaki Approved, post it in the CS Tab :)

@Cuccoruler Make it so!

@Mugin Sweet Also approved to post in the CS Tab :)

L and Mugin, since you both are twili I'd like you two to at least know each other if you're not willing to be related. I mean such a concept of cousins should apply to even the twili.

Looks like im gunna have to make the not- half twili characters. xD

Gotta get some Zora and full humans in this!

on another note, we've got some spell casters. Im glad you're both cover two different spells. That'll get us pretty far!
"Bold of the little kitten." Kevess said. He was leaning forward and reaching for a pocket on his back. The mummy's eyes were locked into eye contact with the fellow hunter. "Poison? How easy it must be to hunt like that." He pulled out his weapon, holding it out so that his blade was away from his body, reversed from the conventional sword.

"Where all the Magicite is at, it'll take more than poison to take down a target." Kevess's eyes narrowed, as if studying the hunter. "Perhaps it would be better for an amateur like you to stay behind." At this point it was hard to tell what the man was thinking for his tone was low and his joints were bend as if crouching only to jump forward in a flash of movement.

"Oi! Let's get this show on the road!" The moogle seemed more eager than the others. He shared the runner with the Caulum woman. The remaining members of the party arrived as well. Each had obtained all they needed for the long trip. Some had chosen to carry their own supplies but just a couple were comfortable with using Greg's Pack of Hoarding. In all there was food, water, and medicine for twenty days suited for over twelve party members.

The plan of action however was clear at this point. The two hunters and the eastern warrior would be a distance behind the party, making sure that the ones traveling in front were able to call reinforcements in the case of an ambush or tense situation. The runners would carry the main group ahead as to move quickly over the land.

Time had passed, getting as far as the edge of Navire's border everyone could see the magical wall rising from the ground. This was the marker of a kingdom. That wall was a barrier protecting the land from the creatures of the forest. It was not that monsters could not pass through that barrier but instead it weakened all beings that were predators such as Dire Wolves.

"Hey! Look there, some people are laying on the ground!" Greg pointed out people who were scattered about the path ahead. The road's dirt was brown but the clothes of those people were brighter colors such as red and blue. Grain on either side of the road was only a few inches tall but as the party approached they could see there'd been some movement. A new path in the grain ripped through the new fields.

When Wallace approached, having Libra cast, he noticed something particular about these people. In an instant he could identify these people. Humans who's health had left them. All at once he'd realized blood was covering these humans and the path in the grain was covered in spots of the red liquid. To those who'd seen a battle in the wilds, this much had been obvious: a creature passed through the border but retained much of its power still.

(Any actions thus far are not under time limit. Feel free to ignore or investigate this scene.)
"So what's next?" Mikone asked, wondering if it was going to be how long they could stay under water or how high they could climb a tree. In both cases she didn't want to accidentally drown or fall. "More walnuts?" She joked.

Following the heard was her option too, but it was effective to get the job done. Wasn't that the goal of a shinobi? She wondered, then taking in her teachers words made her think of situations where getting the job done was the bad thing. Maybe he means think for ourselves instead of just following orders or needing them to act. SO that's improvisation? Huh.

The Descendants of the Hero

What once was a blossoming kingdom ruled by the princess is now a lost world. All that remained of her castle is the ruins holding the spirits of the dead. The influence and power of the royal family was destroyed by the incursion of dark forces. They ravaged Hyrule for many years after their first attack upon the princess's castle. They were relentless until the darkness was pulled back by the master of the shadows. What is left of the world is consumed by nature, returning to the natural before the kingdom's time. Now Hyrule is no more a kingdom than a land of scattered villages across the vast expanse of forests, deserts, islands, and mountains.

But that makes it no less dangerous to fish in the rivers, stroll in the forests, or swim in the lakes of Hyrule. In broad day light monsters and the creatures of shadows appear in great number, hungry for the flesh of people. However, those with courage know that fear is your greatest enemy in this world. The brave are the links connecting the survivors together. This mighty band of young men are the descendants of that man, the Hero of Old.

Who are these descendants?

Each of them has a claim of heritage proven by their inheritance. But, one must wonder why each descendant is different as they are neither sibling or cousins. One must consider who the Hero of Old wed. Many consider the princess was his bride while others say he returned home to marry a life long friend. But the exotic claims of the Zora, Goron, and Twili prove that this can't quiet be proven since both the records and the people of old were lost to the darkness.

However, as much as these descendants squabble about the proper family tree, they share the hero's unyielding courage as well as one of his items. Some carry a mask or weapon while others know a magic spell. In every case the Hero had once used this item to combat the evil of the shadows.

Each of them has vowed to protect the people of this world from the darkness that still swings in the trees of the forest, swims in the lakes and rivers, flies in the mountains, and burrows in the desert sands. They are the Heroes of Hyrule.

A Link to all People.

These descendants travel across the world, going from village to village in order to slay the monsters and cure the sickness from the shadows. Their sworn duty is to protect these places and to purge evil from the land. They dream of rebuilding Hyrule and restoring the world to its former glory as a kingdom.. empire.. civilization!

That's why they people trust you and ask you for your help. Right now they are all in need and you've decided you will slay the shadow monsters and prove to the world that you are the true descendant of the Hero of Old.

To join this RP you'll need to fill out a character sheet and post it to the OOC tab. When approved you then post it to the CS tab where other people can quickly find it.

Inheritance: (What is the item, what does it give you?)

Stats

There are three stats in this rp used by the GM for framing powers.

  • The first is Hearts. You have 3 free points. Each Point is a Heart and a heart allows you to take damage. When they are depleted you'll faint.
  • The second is Strength. You have 2 free points. Each Point is used to reduce a foe's Hearts when you attack them with a weapon or an ability. You'll never have to worry about rolling dice but each of your strikes is based on your description so the better you write easier it is to win a battle.
  • The last is Magic. You have 1 free point. Each Point is expendable for the use of a single spell. The damage of your spell is equal to your current Magic so spamming it will only weaken the harm. But the best part about Magic is that it can do one of three things depending on the spell.

    • Freeze. A foe that is fully frozen cannot move or attack.
    • Burn. A foe that is burning will lose 1 heart for 3 turns.
    • Confuse. A foe that is confused will harm himself or an ally.

In addition to the 3, 2, and 1 points you also get 2 extra to use! Choose wisely!

Inheritance

The items of the Hero of Old are passed down to you. But what of the item did you obtain?

  • Mask. Giving the power of Transformation to the wearer, a mask also gives +2 points to a character.
  • Tool. Having various Ranges, weapons give +1 strength when used in the appropriate range. A Bow is Far, A Ball and Chain is Medium, and a Sword is Close.
  • Spell. Spells do damage based on your current Magic points but apply an effect: Freeze, Burning or Confuse.

Advancement

Your stats will get better over time through the collection of such things as Heart Containers, Strength Bracelets, and Magical Potions. They are hard to find but using them will make you better than before. But other than stats you may find additional items left behind by the Hero of Old. Techniques taught by various masters of the arts may show you better ways of using your inherited item. In any case advancement is the best way to defeat the monsters.
"I... I just smashed it cause it was easy and that's how they got it open." Mikone said, embarrassed by her lack of planning. She picked up the small pieces on the ground, slowly gathering them up from the dirt and grass. Knowing that she missed a few miniscule parts, Mikone wondered if they were actually gross like the boy said. But she wasn't about to eat a dirty piece from off the ground, who knew what bugs and animals crossed this very spot?

"Also, you didn't really give us any restrictions or instructions... so I guess that's why I didn't really think about it too much." Honesty as a good policy to her.
nothing like nut busting for your teacher.

i mean. woo smashed to bits.
That walnut is going down! Mikone thought to herself, eager to test again. Under her teacher's guidance she felt happier around the group since he handled them so well already. Perhaps it wouldn't have been the same with other teammate or even the teacher. Hoping she'd never get on her sensei's bad side, she got a walnut in her hand then looked at the others. It was real obvious that the walnut wasn't going to break without something real tough pounding against it. I guess it's either brute strength or ingenuity now.

She looked at the walnut, trying to find any form of cracks already existing. Nothing but the external shell of wooden steel.

Feeling it was appropriate since the other genin were doing it, she put the walnut on the ground then used a bigger looking rock to smash it to bits. And like that the seed of a newborn tree was no more than rubble underneath the powerful stone in the girl's hand.

"Was that what you were looking for us to do?" She said, worried that it was in fact a strength test.
