It consists of very hot fire attacks based on the sun's core to make scorching attacks. Users can eat fire to gain strength, but this is most effective during sunlight. Fire is still edible during dark, but not too effective as a energy source. Fire and light attacks are not effective against this user.

Karn's currently most powerful form. Being both a powerhouse and a speedy creature. With deadly claws, fangs and horns. It has a tough hide, and heals faster then average forms. Karn is able to keep this form for 2 weeks straight without battle.
A large venomous snake that is large enough and big enough to wrap itself around a human. It's poison can be deadly if not properly treated. Though the antidote is commonly known for this type of snake. It also secretes a paralyzing venom that is temporary, length depends on the person's body. Karn can last three weeks in this form.
Not necessarily a strong creature, being a regular house cat, but a few scratches still doesn't feel good! Plus it's adorable and Karn often likes being it since it does not require as much magical energy. Karn can last 2 months in this form or any small form.
Also not necessarily a strong creature and is more used as a resting form for the user. A sub species of the Eastern Chimera. This is one form that does not hinder the user by using up magic. Used to help heal and rest magical energy. It's pretty small, about the size of a cat with a long tail like the Eastern Chimera. It can breathe a puff of golden solar flame, fly, and climb but is otherwise pretty useless in a fight.
Pegasus's are known to be fast rideable flyers, big enough to fly with two people. They are not real fighters, having very little to defend themselves. Still they are both fleet footed on land and in the sky. Making a excellent way of travel. So Karn doesn't usually transform into it unless he needs to get somewhere. Karn grew up in a fairly small eastern town, he had loving parents and a elder brother. However, at the age of six, his mother had gotten caught in a storm during a fishing trip she took him on, inevitebly drowning to her death. He had barely survived the incident. Their father was a bad alcoholic, and took out his frustrations on Karn, blaming him for his mother's death and ended up doing quite a bit of horrific things a parent can do to a child. Karn's elder brother ignored him, wanting no part in his younger brother's or was simply too busy to pay any mind to anything.
At the age of ten, Karn discovered his magical ability when he accidentally changed into a cat in order to get away from his father. When his father discovered such a ability, Karn was disowned and kicked out of the house, raving about how his magic proved he was a devil's child that only killed and destroyed. He wandered the lands for around a month before bumping into a guild wizard who happened to have transformation magic. Since his mother died, Karn hadn't smiled so big after meeting his Master, Rian. A powerful woman who treated her pupil like a son. For years he trained under her, while listening her tales on guild life and how it was like a real family. Karn craved such a livelihood, and after his master mysteriously disappeared, he continued traveling the land in order to search for her and join a guild he can call a home.
Soon he found Phoenix Wing, where he made friends and enjoyed the company of all. Finally he felt somewhat at peace, until one job regarding his family, he found out what became of his Eastern Chimera mentor who taught him his magic. Skinned on a ship in which Karn went absolutely ballistic. He managed not to kill, but he did devour a arm, in which case caused him to be mentally scarred and fearful of himself. Though he often tried to put up a strong face for his guildmates, he was even more depressed and just wanted to give up on everything. During the Edolas ark, his Master had captured his Edolas counterpart soul and made the arrangements to shove it inside him. Trapping Edo-Karn inside his body so he could live on. Her strong-will keeping him alive. It was believed that no matter what, Edarn would not sacrifice Karn to take over his body, and would also save his life. Karn felt even more guilty, that now he was responsible of trapping a innocent life to a different body in a different world, far away from home, family and friends. Even more guilt ebbed as he somewhat liked it. Having someone strong, someone to lean on... Edarn was everything he wasn't that he wished he was.
Over the two years, Karn and Edarn were stuck together, Edarn trying to find some solution to her problem while Karn was forced to live on because of it. Some solution that would allow them both to live, to be separated, and for Edarn to go home. Karn himself, had probably made things a little difficult for Edarn, considering he still even now is somewhat unwilling to let her go, but she never said anything about it. Karn was often forced to train by Edarn, work, and be productive as well as attempt to teach Edarn his magic abilities so she could better handle his body. It's been fun.

Karn is a pretty carefree fun loving girlish man. He honestly could be mistaken either gender due to his pretty looks. Although unexpectedly, he seems to rather enjoy playing either role. He's pretty playful and often a curious sort who ends up getting into a bit of trouble on his own. He revels in making friends and attempting to please others to the best of his abilities. He's a bit immature and acts just like a child, while being a bit directionally challenged, but when push comes to shove in a serious situation, he will fight for his friends to his grave. He's highly dependent, seeming to favor other words highly and gets lonely easily. He also trusts easily, which can lead into him being take advantage of. Karn also has several animal like habits. Like licking himself, sniffing things, playing with yarn balls, and other things. Karn often tries to act friendly and cheery as possible, despite how sometimes he gets depressed. So instead, he just acts cheerier. In which case, Edarn often says it's very unhealthy. He can be a bit whiney, a baby, and be needy on occasion.

Edarn, unlike Karn, is more mature and calm. Almost always carrying a unbreakable calm expression even under heavy pressure. Though she does tend to be sarcastic, quick witted, sharp tongued, a smart-ass, and not hesitating to be brutally honest as well as say whatever is on her mind or state her opinion. She also enjoys joking around and teasing others. Her attitude often gives the impression that she's a loner, but she's fully capable with working with others. And despite what some may call a irritating attitude, she is has a kind heart and is fiercely loyal to her friends and family.
A lot of times, she acts as the elder of others, despite being quite young and usually is the one who gets things done especially when they are important. Edarn is fiercely brave and isn't afraid to go in the middle of a a raging war by herself if need be. The only thing she is afraid of is being truly alone and forgotten.
She has a somewhat a moral code and does believe in honor and justice. She refuses to kill anyone, although will not hesitate to get them close to death or make them beg for it.
Edarn has a great love for animals, machines, inventing, technology, family, reading, researching and spices.
Despite years passing, she still experiences hallucinations and hears voices, due to side effects of the Magic and her merge with Karn. Although she acts like she always does, it has worn her down emotionally. Despite her hard work, she doesn't think she'll get home... and even if she did, at this point people who she knew may be long gone. Her extremely fast movement allowing her to make a deadly weapon to her fists and feet attack as she uses her fighting style to triple her weight as force in multiple fast movements that could do a 15-20 hit combo within a few seconds. The favorite being wires and whips in which usually have hooked spikes to dig into opponents and either trapping them, or ripping them into slices.

Edarn is the Edolas version of Karn. Born in Traia, Edarn was born extremely ill and fragile. As a infant, she could barily walk or move without having some sort of fit that led to coughing up blood. Doctors expected her to be lucky enough to survive to ten years old and to be bedridden for all of her life. Be it a miracle or willpower however, Edarn was able to not be bedridden and run and play like any child. Although she had more difficulties, she still was stubborn enough to keep trying, not willing to listen to the doctors heeds to simply rest.
Tomboyish and lacking obvious feminine features, other children often made fun of her and mistook her as a boy in which she would promptly punch them in the gut.
At a young age however, the army took away her father, brother, and herself to a experimental lab and slave camp. Being the weakest one, she was put up for experiments. The researchers were trying to find a way to create magic or something at least that could replace it, the False Queen demanding some sort of progress.
Out of the fifty people sent for experiments over the two years spent at the lab, Edarn was the sole survivor by lucky chance as she was presumed dead after going through several tortures on her body and shipped back home. Managing to crawl out of the corpse cart, and find her way back home. When she got there to find her mother, it appeared her mother had completely lost all memory of Edarn.
Her mother having fallen very ill with memory loss, utter confusion, delirious, and a violent habit in which she snapped from friendly to hostile to her daughter. Confused, Edarn fled. At the time, Edarn could actually hardly speak or read properly, acting more like a street animal then a actual human being. Every night, she returned to her mother's home, only to eventually get chased out. Having to steal to survive, she stole food from the markets for a month until the Edolas Phoenix Wing caught wind of the recent theft.
A Guild Member named Ru found her and took her back to the Guild where she met the others like Rian. It took her awhile to actually communicate, a week in fact when a young Guild member named Liana showed kindness to the young blonde. Since then, Edarn focused more on helping out the Guild and learning from it, Rian helping her study the illness as well as use the experimental metal the researchers embedded into her to their advantage.
Over the years, she collected money from jobs and sent it to help her mother whom soon got well enough to fall in love again and have another child. But still having no memory of Edarn. Despite wanting to be part of the family and not feel alone and abandoned, Edarn kept her distance so her family could be happy and instead watched from afar.
However at twelve years old, the army returned to Traia and started rounding up people in which Edarn grew furious. Despite Ru and Rian's warnings, Edarn was determined to put a stop to this and exact her vengeance. Despite best efforts, Edarn was overpowered. Ru and Rian having to come to her rescue. Although they managed to destroy the research lab, they perished with it and Edarn blamed herself for it. Swearing to never let vengeance blind her again.
Years passed and Edarn trained and focused on being tone of the best in Edolas Phoenix Wing. Focusing in teaching those who joined all that she learned and helping them grow, as well as showing them the kindness and fierceness a Phoenix Wing member should have. As well as be a accomplished fighter.
Watching and befriending Ben, Sasha, Trinity, Damian, James, and Mayat as they came. And feeling sadness when some left or perished.
Despite caring deeply for her family, she never told or even hinted of her illness in a effort to not worry them. Despite best efforts of Rian in the past, Edarn's destiny could not be altered too much. Death would happen. Delayed or not. Although Edarn claimed to herself that she accepted that fate, truly, she didn't and made many effort to prevent it by researching medical means. Due to the False Queen's rule, she could barely get enough of the necessary medicine.
The day the Earthlanders came to Edolas and before she met them, she discovered that day was her last and she didn't have much time left. Despite knowing this, she did the best she could to help the Earthlanders, as well as fight against those who wished to do Edols harm. Managing to capture the False Queen. Before ultimately falling to her illness and died.
Just as she died however, Earthland Master Rian trapped her soul into a Lacrima in order to save her own Karn. When that time came, she fused Edarn's soul into Karn's body in order to save him so he can live on. Without Edarn's soul with a fierce will to live, Karn would truly die. Now, trapped inside Karn's body, unable to truly be with her family in Edolas or even watch them beyond the grave, she now resides in Earthland. Giving herself the nickname 'Edarn' to make it easier to call Karn and Edo-Karn. Trying to find a way to return home.
She's spent the past two years working hard to learn all she could about Earthland, magic, training in Karn's magic, finding a way to stabilize Karn and herself, a way to separate, and a way to get home. As well as working on Guild jobs. She herself, hasn't spent a lot of time around the other guildmembers. Though she often acts the same to hide her actual feelings whenever they are around, as well as to Karn. Trying to avoid worrying anyone as she pushes herself to work hard.

The researchers were trying to find a way to create magic or something at least that could replace it, the False Queen demanding some sort of progress.
Out of the fifty people sent for experiments over the two years spent at the lab, Edarn was the sole survivor by lucky chance as she was presumed dead after going through several tortures on her body and shipped back home. Managing to crawl out of the corpse cart, and find her way back home. When she got there to find her mother, it appeared her mother had completely lost all memory of Edarn.
Her mother having fallen very ill with memory loss, utter confusion, delirious, and a violent habit in which she snapped from friendly to hostile to her daughter. Confused, Edarn fled. At the time, Edarn could actually hardly speak or read properly, acting more like a street animal then a actual human being. Every night, she returned to her mother's home, only to eventually get chased out. Having to steal to survive, she stole food from the markets for a month until the Edolas Phoenix Wing caught wind of the recent theft.
A Guild Member named Ru found her and took her back to the Guild where she met the others like Rian. It took her awhile to actually communicate, a week in fact when a young Guild member named Liana showed kindness to the young blonde. Since then, Edarn focused more on helping out the Guild and learning from it, Rian helping her study the illness as well as use the experimental metal the researchers embedded into her to their advantage.
Over the years, she collected money from jobs and sent it to help her mother whom soon got well enough to fall in love again and have another child. But still having no memory of Edarn. Despite wanting to be part of the family and not feel alone and abandoned, Edarn kept her distance so her family could be happy and instead watched from afar.
However at twelve years old, the army returned to Traia and started rounding up people in which Edarn grew furious. Despite Ru and Rian's warnings, Edarn was determined to put a stop to this and exact her vengeance. Despite best efforts, Edarn was overpowered. Ru and Rian having to come to her rescue. Although they managed to destroy the research lab, they perished with it and Edarn blamed herself for it. Swearing to never let vengeance blind her again.
Years passed and Edarn trained and focused on being tone of the best in Edolas Phoenix Wing. Focusing in teaching those who joined all that she learned and helping them grow, as well as showing them the kindness and fierceness a Phoenix Wing member should have. As well as be a accomplished fighter.
Watching and befriending Ben, Sasha, Trinity, Damian, James, and Mayat as they came. And feeling sadness when some left or perished.
Despite caring deeply for her family, she never told or even hinted of her illness in a effort to not worry them. Despite best efforts of Rian in the past, Edarn's destiny could not be altered too much. Death would happen. Delayed or not. Although Edarn claimed to herself that she accepted that fate, truly, she didn't and made many effort to prevent it by researching medical means. Due to the False Queen's rule, she could barely get enough of the necessary medicine.
The day the Earthlanders came to Edolas and before she met them, she discovered that day was her last and she didn't have much time left. Despite knowing this, she did the best she could to help the Earthlanders, as well as fight against those who wished to do Edols harm. Managing to capture the False Queen. Before ultimately falling to her illness and died.
Just as she died however, Earthland Master Rian trapped her soul into a Lacrima in order to save her own Karn. When that time came, she fused Edarn's soul into Karn's body in order to save him so he can live on. Without Edarn's soul with a fierce will to live, Karn would truly die. Now, trapped inside Karn's body, unable to truly be with her family in Edolas or even watch them beyond the grave, she now resides in Earthland. Giving herself the nickname 'Edarn' to make it easier to call Karn and Edo-Karn. Trying to find a way to return home.
She's spent the past two years working hard to learn all she could about Earthland, magic, training in Karn's magic, finding a way to stabilize Karn and herself, a way to separate, and a way to get home. As well as working on Guild jobs. She herself, hasn't spent a lot of time around the other guildmembers. Though she often acts the same to hide her actual feelings whenever they are around, as well as to Karn. Trying to avoid worrying anyone as she pushes herself to work hard.
Personality
Edarn, unlike Karn, is more mature and calm. Almost always carrying a unbreakable calm expression even under heavy pressure. Though she does tend to be sarcastic, quick witted, sharp tongued, a smart-ass, and not hesitating to be brutally honest as well as say whatever is on her mind or state her opinion. She also enjoys joking around and teasing others. Her attitude often gives the impression that she's a loner, but she's fully capable with working with others. And despite what some may call a irritating attitude, she is has a kind heart and is fiercely loyal to her friends and family.
A lot of times, she acts as the elder of others, despite being quite young and usually is the one who gets things done especially when they are important. Edarn is fiercely brave and isn't afraid to go in the middle of a a raging war by herself if need be. The only thing she is afraid of is being truly alone and forgotten.
She has a somewhat a moral code and does believe in honor and justice. She refuses to kill anyone, although will not hesitate to get them close to death or make them beg for it.
Edarn has a great love for animals, machines, inventing, technology, family, reading, researching and spices.
Despite years passing, she still experiences hallucinations and hears voices, due to side effects of the Magic and her merge with Karn. Although she acts like she always does, it has worn her down emotionally. Despite her hard work, she doesn't think she'll get home... and even if she did, at this point people who she knew may be long gone. Yet she wills herself to continue with the goal to find out if Edolas is at least alright and safe.
