Eve blinked as her surroundings changed, letting her face show only the slightest hints of shock. She watched the proceedings with a touch of wariness, but frowned when a boy pointed to her shoulder, glancing sideways she found that while she had been eating the dragon had migrated back to her shoulder, where it was happily cleaning it's scales. "Wait, you can see it?" She queried, wondering if the others might be able to as well, and accidentally sending out a subconscious signal letting the small crystalline dragon become fully visible to all.

Eve just grinned at Zo, before turning to the old man, "So are you going to answer our questions?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, and ignoring the way the dragon did the same, it was honestly a little creepy sometimes how it just mimicked her movements. Pushing that and her curiosity about the others, all of whom, aside from Zo, seemed to be critically adverse to talking, to the back of her mind for the minute. She would try find out more about them later, if maybe not quite as straight forward as Zo's blunt questioning.

The Pawn

Slowly blinking her bleary eyes open, the Pawn yawned. She'd woken up to the sound of raised voices, a sound she'd never liked, not that she could remember anything; it was just a feeling she got. Attempting to raise her hand up to rub at her eyes she was shocked to find that she couldn't move. Definitely awake now she writhed around trying to loosen herself from the hold of, …were they roots? Oh man, today was not looking good.

Glancing around the clearing and spotting the other five, no six, she frowned, yelling would get them out of here no faster than struggling, which was working sooo well.

Pausing in her effort, and sucking in a breath, she hollered, "Oi, stop insulting the only person that looks like they'd be able to get us out of here, I dunno 'bout you, but I ain't likely to do something for someone when they cuss at me, eh?" She shrugged, or as much of a shrug as she could do, which really was pretty pitiful, how did he think he was going to make anyone's life hell when he was glued to a tree? Directing her next sentence at the figure in the middle of the clearing she inquired in a much more reasonable tone; "Sorry, but do you think you can get us down from here? Please?" She had questions, and lots of them, but they, she figured, could wait till she wasn't trussed up like a turkey.

Eve glanced at Zo, tilting her head slightly in a silent question, before pulling out a chair and plopping down. Glancing around at the others and seeing that at least one of them was eating and didn't seem to be keeling over or turning blue, she decided the food was probably fine to eat. Just to be on the safe side though she waited while the dragon sniffed at a plate, watching it shrug she remembered what Zo had said about it possibly being her conscience, in which case it would have no clue if there was anything wrong with the food. As if to prove her point the dragon finished it's inspection, sat back on it's haunches and shrugged. With a sigh of resignation, and a faint growling from her stomach, Eve dropped various foods on her plate, eyed it with apprehension, and dug in.

"Strength sounds good," Eve mused, "better than imaginary friends if you ask me." She finally paused in her talking to glance around, actually taking in the interior of the building, and the sight of another girl following them. Eve grinned slightly back at the girl and nodded a greeting, letting the other decide if she wanted to approach.

Personality:

Cheerful: Generally quite cheerful, a smile is the most common expression to be found on her face.

Impulsive: stopping and thinking things through is not her forte, she's much more likely to jump in and question later, not that she can't be logical or follow reason, she just tends to need to do things.

Loyal: (…to a fault as they say). it can take her a while to actually trust anyone, but once her trust is gained, she will follow them through thick and thin. The flip side of that of course is that anyone who breaks her trust will probably regret it, she can really hold a grudge.

Stubborn: she will listen to others point's of view, but once her mind's made up it can be rather hard to convince her otherwise about anything.

Other:
she has a habit of tapping her fingers or feet in a rhythm from songs she can never quite recall, she can also be caught humming snatches of song.

more of a follower than a leader.

In a fight she can give as good as she gets, but that's about it. She's not adverse to hitting things/people with large blunt force objects though.

Blood doesn't faze her, much, but gore/guts and the like, does.
So a little bit squeamish, pus in small quantity's doesn't bother her, nor does mud, or dirt.

She really hates it when she finds out her role is the pawn, as: "It make me sound like a piece to move at others commands!"

"I doubt it's a spirit" she admitted, "And it appeared the same day as the stone, gave me a hellova scare too, thought it was going to burn the house down. On the bright side, it's fire ain't any good for burning 'real' things. …Mostly" She amended remembering the coin-sized singed spot, a stark contrast against the grey carpet at home. "What's you're power then?" she asked realizing that he'd never actually said.

@Snarl you have a point. I was thinking along the lines of that kind of light misty rain, but I can change that now. :)
