@VitaVitaAR Ok ! Then my follow up question: Fictional how. We talking only popular Fairy Tails, or even modern books, video games and the like? I'm going somewhere with this. :P I just need to make sure of the limits.
I'm starting to wonder. Do you not see me asking if there are still spots open about 19 hours ago, up there? Right before Bartimaeus' character. Oo
Despair in ignored / missed
Hello !
You already answered about 5 hours ago, but I am still asking for the sake of politeness: Are you still accepting more players into this? :)

Also, I have to at least ask: must Archetypes be real or can they be based in fiction?
This should move things along nicely, I hope. Sorry it took a while, busy time of the year and all !

The Envoy turned to the company leader speaking only to retort sharply "The target is female and will look relatively young. When you get a hold of her, do everything to keep her in custody and alive." he answered to both the boasting young man and the Captain. As they were about to leave the tent, Aria mentioned the payment, to which the envoy stopped and slowly looked up at the Captain from across the table "Mercenaries...always so greedy." Aria crossed her arms and took on the staring contest, but it proved a no contest. Not even a few seconds later; "Fine. We will see what can be done about it - but you best not fail the Empire."

"The Red Branch Company do not fail. Remember that when you'll bring my query to your superior. Now, get out of my command tent. We have a siege to plan."

Slightly annoyed, but not unhappy to leave the lowly Mercenaries to themselves, the envoys promptly left the tent and headed for their horses. Meanwhile, Aria kept her eyes riveted at the map of the land around the city, taking note of what Protelo said "Protelo, find the flyers and ask them to scout the docks. Tell them to fly high - there are few pegasi in Latis and no wyverns. They would recognize them as enemy as soon as they set eyes on them. They should focus on spotting the ship those envoys mentioned, as well as the shortest way to it." As she said this, Aria sat down at her table and began writing something with ink and feather.

"You will take every other persons and lead them South West from here. The road to Western Latis goes through a river. You and your group are to find the bridge and make it unusable as to stop any unwelcome surprise in our backs later on. Chances are Latissians have it guarded since Nuniel mostly vacated this area." Finally, her eyes left from the paper to her Lieutenant as she rolled the peice of parchment and handed it to him.

"Take every available man; except Felix, Reiko and Mirza. Give them those orders, they'll do the rest. As soon as your own mission is completed, come back to camp. By your return, we should be able to make way for the city. Am I clear?"

The orders on the parchment were clear; Find a way in and either sabotage the gates for easy entry, or find an alternate way into the city. They could do this by infiltrating incognito, or waiting at night of they want access to the walls.
Simple Stuff for me

Kokona, Machiko

The Maid

Age 15

Emblem:
A long glove. It is black in colour except for one small orange spot on the back of the hand in the form of a lozenge. When Machiko transforms the glove becomes metallic and the lozenge glow with a bright orange light which seems to be directly linked to Machiko's other Magical Girl's equipment.

Devil Arm:
Machiko's weapons used to be feather-like blade floating around her, pushing back the tide of darkness with cold and deadly precision. Now corrupted, her graceful blades turned to Heavy Lance and Shield. Focusing far more on raw power, even her shield stand as an antithesis to her new nature.

Magic:
Machiko used to prefer few, precise strikes to deal with her enemies; no more. Using her shield for defense while her Lance charges it's power, Machiko specializes in closing the gap with devastating charges that more often than not end up with earth shattering blunt force.

The shield is floating, and controlled through Machiko's gauntlet. It can absorb any physical impacts, which includes things like the blast force of an explosion, to empower her Lance attacks.

Background:
At first view, Machiko was a normal child living a normal life with a normal family. At school, she was mostly like other girls her age if not only slightly more reserved than most. Growing up, she acted like people asked her to act mostly because it was what was expected of her, but something was missing inside. Going from therapist to therapist, no one could really find a reason for her apparent 'indifference' to, well, everything. Her grades began to drop and her social circle became ever smaller.

She struggled with understanding the expectations of society or finding a reason and the will to 'see it through' feeling as if most of the things she did was wasted time, in the end. She did not look forward to anything, nor could she bring herself to - which she did try.

One thing did keep her looking forward, however: her father. He was always at work and constantly tired, but he always managed to find time for his daughter. Bringing her gifts, teaching her how to draw and play music on his spare time. If he could be this strong, then she too could keep a straight face and give it her all. It was during that time that a Mascot had visited her and Machiko became a Magical Girl. Fighting off Nightmares was like fighting off her dark thoughts and the apathy that besieged her.

She did this until the day Machiko's father had commit suicide. She never was told the reason, and never sought it out neither. He had been her guiding light, and that light died off in her with him. From that day onward, her apathy turned to full blown existential nihilism, seeing life as insignificant and denied of sense or purpose.

Armed with sick and twisted logic that amuses her, she now live only in order to seek what she think is impossible to find: a meaningful death.

Inventory:
A Cellphone. A drawing pad and her father's pen.
@Lonewolf685 Strangest Cleric I ever seen. Accepted. x)

I'll do my best to post today, folks.

Still shook by the sight of someone in...that state, Yui did not see the other girl come in behind her. not one to be easily riled up and angry, she did not react all that much to being thrown back into the wall. Especially after witnessing how it could have ended badly had she not been taken out of her torpor. "I was helping people..." she said to Kanbaru's comment "...everyone. She, included!" she added.

Although there had not been much helping, to be frank. "I remember you." she said as she looked on Kanbaru work and talk to Touka as one would to calm a wounded wild animal. "At the park...You attacked us." once more, there was no aggressiveness in both Gaia's tone and demeanor. "Why would you attack us--" screeching and snapping at nothing, Touka seemed to just now be reacting to Yui's presence as her eyes locked onto her. In a surreal demonstration, wires were about to sprout from her mouth and attack Yui, but were stopped only by Kanbaru once again.

Gaia had not just been standing there, though. Her mind had been busy during this whole time, ever since she saw Touka in such a berserk state...ready to attack her. Kill her, perhaps? Her eyes were rapidly moving back and forth as ideas were developing in her mind. The earlier scene on the roof when Aegis was taken away came back to mind...as well as how one of the other Dark Girls saluted Touka for the deed. A green flash. Just like the one that had taken Luna away during their fight at the parks weeks before.

Even focused as she was, Kanbaru could probably notice a flower growing incredibly fast through a crack in cement below them. And it wasn't the only one; a direct cause of Gaia focusing her magic. Be it intentionally or not. Raising her hand up and pointing her open palm in their direction, roots - thick and larger then her usual vines - blasted from the ground beneath both of them and lashed out at the duo. One of them made sure to circle around Touka's throat, choking her and forcing her mouth shut, while others secured the rest of the monster's body, not blind to the cracking ice. More roots grabbed a defenseless and otherwise focused Kanbaru, making sure to keep her hands as far away form each other as possible, and wrapping around their palms to force them open.

"How could you fall this deep..." she said, taking one step forward. She, too, could feel the Darkness emanating from the wounded magical girl. She felt the same Darkness earlier this night in the city - and while she was angry, sad and distressed at the idea of possibly having Luna's murderer in front of her the few tears on Gaia's cheeks were of pity for her.

"Look at you... how could you let yourself fall in such a state? Little more than an animal...little more than nightmares."

Nodding towards Kanbaru "Are you not their Leader? Are you not supposed to guide them through...whatever twisted path you chose to follow? Are you that ready to abandon them - to abandon yourself - to that madness I feel in you? If so..." She brought Vestige up and in a gracious movement and pointed it at Touka's forehead "Tell us now, and I will do what I have to do..."

With a softer and hopeful tone she added "...Otherwise, let go of whatever madness and anger has a hold of you before it consumes you to a point of no return."

Dark Magical Girl. Light Magical Girl. Friend or Foe. It didn't matter. All lives were worth living - and saving. As she repeated herself those words, still struggling with the image of Luna in her mind, her grip on the sword tightened.

Rania Mitsuri

Rania did not, in fact, follow Palis. Even after seen their power and having her own ideology reaffirmed it would have been to submissive a move to simply throttle along. Instead, Pharaoh slowly made it's way through the city being lost in her own thoughts. As a sort of token of respect towards Palis, the Dark Magical Girl decided to only kill whatever stray nightmare was bold enough to attack her first and let the rest do whatever they were created to do. Their numbers seemed to be dwindling, anyway. By the time she arrived at her destination, the night seemed to be mostly over. Chiaki, even in her apparent torpor, was sure to have also felt what happened this night.

Rania untransformed and made her way to the room her partner was staying in "President...you missed quite the party." She closed the door behind her, turning back to her friend with a serious look. The kind which Rania did not display often.

"I have information that you'll want to hear. It's about your sister."
Not really. If you have skills for adjacent units, then you can use them when allies are a certain distance (ft) away form you, but I will leave characters relation to be built through narrative rather than stats.
