My bad I did things in reverse order. I apologize, but i'd like to register for the new season.

Well open your records slot under your name, send a PM to Rilla, tell him, nay, demand he place you among the active fighters. Find an opponent and have a go. The season will start with the winter tourney, usually Rilla, but he cannot so we are looking for a replacement host. But that should not stop you from traipsing about and garnering points to pad your w/l record.
Wonderfully evenly matched fight so far. I will have something saturday night or sunday night depending.
@DJAtomika Dooo eeet!!! If you need help let me know, plan for three months to wrap it all up.
Good hunts @Nafear
Alrighty boys and girls, who is hosting the winter tourney? Who wants to kick off the new season?

As the plasma dwindled away, vanishing to naught the true attack of the Fireen was evident. An energy weapon, Fury had not lost his touch, as the hurling spear would reach the Dreamer. The impact was tremendous as the spear slammed home into the dark pulsating shield of Skallagrim. The energy discharge was amazing, the ships above lay silent as eyes watched in horror as the energy filled their screens with numbers resembling nuclear weapon explosions.

The impact, knocked the Dreamer back and away, in a flash of light and heat. The pulsating dark energy of the shield blunted the damage, transferring the energy down and into the multitude of tendrils of energy deep in the earth, where the force was transferred with extreme prejudice. The energy dispersed through the hard rock caused an earthquake miles deep in the earth. Skallagrim raced back at nearly 120 miles per hour until the tendrils that anchored him began to reach the limits of their energy elasticity. With a sudden stop, the skeletal being nearly bent in half and then slammed into the ground, face first with a tremendous smack. Rising quickly, Skallagrim readied himself, although the two were nearly a half mile distant than they had been before. The dark tendrils of energy hummed and reverberated with the transference of energy through them.

The rocks deep in the earth fractured under the energy dispersal, molten earth flowed and churned deep in the earth seeking a way out, seeking a way to release. Would it reach the surface? Hardly, however, what would happen would be that the earthquake, initiated by the initial energy would now be fueled by another subterranean explosion as the lava crashed and expanded deep in caverns, propelling the shifting of tectonic plates.

The monomolecular mesh was a weapon and defense, a mesh made of dark graphene a single molecule thick with a with a tensile strength of 130000 MPa, made it one of the highest tensile strength structures in the multiverse. The dark graphene molecule itself contains elastic properties, which helps with the concept of cutting. Even as Fury pushed through the mesh if the dark graphene didn’t cut right away, the elasticity will help it to continue cutting as he continued to push through it especially catching and cutting anything not nestled between his hands and chest. The dark graphene has amazing shear strength requiring a tremendous amount of energy to shear the net enough for Fury to make his way through it. Would it stop him? Perhaps, perhaps not. But it would not be merciful upon the Fireen as the mesh was released, left to collapse with impunity upon the man who sought his way out.

The blow had hurt, had done damage. Had in fact given the Dreamer pause a moment as he took a survey of his body. Although the shield had done its job in offsetting a majority of the blow, the fact remained that enough energy had gotten through to fuse, rend and break the armor of Skallagrim. Several of the bones beneath the armor showed signs of fractures and micro breaks.

But it had not killed the Dreamer, and Skallagrim had not attacked yet. The hum and glow of the sword, shimmering with gamma energy began to burn the oxygen in the atmosphere around the skeletal being, creating a surreal image, harkening to the most primitive illustrations of death. The shield, much diminished, pulsated angrily as a million Dreamer began accessing the dream fragment, studying the fight.
@WarpedReality What specifically is your question regarding the arena?
Have a post up tonight Melon. Sorry the boy was under the weather.
It is all a little vague. What is your writing level? What is the power level and how do you define it as such? Also post your character in the arena HQ. The new season will kick off shortly so make yourself known and I am sure you find some matches. Also keep an eye out for the tournaments.
As Fury pushed his blade through the mesh, the trap sprung to life. The near invisible monomolecular mesh split around the blade’s entry point as the fulcrum that whipped the entirety of the mesh around and down onto the man known as Fury. The monomolecular mesh was, in fact, a superdense net made to capture the man who had come seeking vengeance.

The plasma sword, superheated gas, employed by the Furian was not a threat, not to someone who commanded the full scope of the electromagnetic spectrum. While the plasma sword would be under the command of Fury, he would be fighting the strength of the electromagnetic spectrum which would present a vast bow shock effect to continually deflect the blows of the telekinetic power of the man wielding the sword. The induction field, which was now humming with great effect would provide the magnetic field the power to help sluice the blade away from the Dreamer.

That was the mistake the Fury had made, he knew, understood that the Dreamer controlled the electromagnetic spectrum easily. The very spectrum that would allow him to manipulate and control the plasma as easily as the Furian, perhaps more so. The magnetic field would now affect the plasma much the same as the magnetic field of the planet they stood upon shunted away deadly plasma from the sun that flared above them. The magnetic field resonated such power that the ships above began to shake as the planet’s very magnetic field began to center on the two combatants. The deep galdhr tentacles now latched themselves to the deep rock below the mantle of the planet. Holding fast to the pulsating dark shield the tentacles would provide a stable basis for the Dreamer once the full implementation of his plans took effect. For now, the highly ionized gas would become a miniature battlefield as the power of the Dreamer over the fundamental forces of the universe faced the amplified powers of the Furian. It was enough to cause the Dreamer to step backward as the immense heat of the gasses fused links of mail.

However, the matter of the mesh netting would become problematic for the man known as Fury. A nearly invisible single molecule of highly dense matter stretched out in a fine mesh would attempt to envelop the man much as a net envelopes fish or game. The net would whip around and over with incredible speed. Once the net began to settle the true nature of the trap would become evident as the dense, dark matter, would begin to collapse on the Furian. The weight, incredible, made of dark matter compressed made the mesh heavy. Incredibly heavy. What is worse is that the weight coupled with the thin, dense structure would provide a nasty, cutting surface as the weight of the molecule-thin net, affected by the magnetic field created by the Dreamer pressed downward.

The Furian was incredibly strong, but would his strength equate the weight that now pressed on him? The entire mesh net, crumpled together would roughly fill a large ladle. But the weight was enormous. Nearly a billion tons, the weight of a mountain range would weight the ends of the net, controlled by the Dreamer the full weight was limited to anchor points to hold the Furian in place. However once released the net would crush the Furian beneath it in a matter of seconds.

“I have no wish to kill you Mandar Rane. If I release my control of this net the full weight of mountains will descend upon you. I have no quarrel with you, you are simply a tool used to strike at the Dreamers. As such I implore you to stop this course of actions and seek the true source of your hatred.”
