Current My new-year resolution is to actually join a Casual Roleplay and not abandon it after a week.

That's not a hot take, that's an extremely cold take. Advanced players are using the Casual section because it has like 5 times more players.

A book gently closes, and the young cleric exhales, his eyes incidentally upon the eyepatch-wearing Elder of the group. Dissatisfaction with what his book contains, perhaps? Unable to discern between rumour and truth?
That's the last of his subtle examinations, finally having a succinct notion of every person around including the Captain Greystone.

Kaelara leaves, and Caled glances towards her then back to the rest of the group, before glancing once more to make sure Kaelara's not within earshot. "Be it fruitless to present themself as 'cool' amongst peers? Seems an early way to develop personal rifts."

The book in his left hand opens partly, revealing then an actual map to the village of Windermere and a significant amount of its surroundings. "To the morrow, then? I shall strive to be present during." He nods at everyone's general direction, taking a final glance at the beautiful, inquisitive red-haired elf(? with horns?) and begins walking forth to elsewhere, possibly one of the few places he's still familiar with despite having been a decade and more away.
Caled

Childhood friend to one Miralys, before at a young age being employed by the clergy due to immense spiritual affinity--an ability to quite literally yank a curse or any other such metaphysical malady out of a person's body.
Communications have not been maintained for years, both faraway living their busy lives. A relative peace broken by news of her disappearance. With haste, travel he did despite pleas from the clergy, instead settling for lending him a weaker version of the judge-book, for his own safety.
At the very least, both clergy and contractor are assured he's not in this for the money.

Lesser Paragonomicon
Contains hymns and scripture. Secretly may instead reveal all heroics, strengths and overall positive traits of any target entity.

Staff of Sanctuary
A standard cleric staff, notwithstanding. Stabbed into the ground, provides a healing sanctuary in a small area around itself.

Eidolon
While his hidden adventurer alias, also summarizes his ability to phase both body and weapon into spirit. Pass through physical hindrances. Attack another person's mana instead of body. Other such possibilities worth imagining. Susceptible still to mana-imbued hindrances.
I have decided to be daring and put this character in a position of somewhat importance.

I scoured through 3 pages of Casual Roleplay threads and I only found 2 that I could actually join, be it for being actually Casual threads instead of Advanced threads fishing for players in a more populated pond.

I'm cooked.

Feeling like a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon roleplay might not be a bad idea. Pick a Pokémon, give it suitable character, pick from its learnable moves (one could even set, say, only moves learnable before Level 20 but oh goodness do not make an experience/leveling system for the love of Arceus), boom. A team.
Worldbuilding could be very simple too. It's either market towns centered by guild halls, or vast wilderness. Not a lot of inbetween, they're kind of an ancient society. You could build whatever.
Just came here to say the concept and Google Sheet are very cool.
Yes, that's what Casual Roleplay should look like. No skillfully fabricated images, and a small character sheet--only three fields, very nice. I've been through the first page and only found one actually Casual thread, the rest should be in Advanced.

Anyway. Rant aside, is there still a spot?
Is this still ongoing?
9804 steps today. Not as tired as the first 4 times I did this, but I'm also already home so eh. I'll do some squats later.
Wow. How are you changing the text font like that?

Oh, I see. The entire text is unicode.
"The beacons of Minas Tirith!
The beacons are lit!
Gondor calls for aid."

"And Rohan will answer.
Muster the Rohirrim!"
