Current I agree. This doesn't happen anymore because of reasons I have stated in the thread made in the wake of this drama.

imgur.com/a/cPIEzJm According to Ruby, I am posting in bad faith. Okay.

"attack the idea, not the person" is a common idiom.

If me calling out a moderator on poor moderation is an "attack" then I literally can not make the complaint without attacking.

I will admit I am upset, I am frustrated. But I am this way because of a lack of transparency and competent leadership. Nobody wants to engage me on my concerns, and all that's happening is supression

Every single person who has posted something personal about me today doesn't know me and has never spoken to me outside of site staff. If even then. So...at this point all I can do is let the vocal and angry vent. They'll assume what they want. About me in particular.

Post it. If it gets personal and petty/starts breaking site rules a site mod will close it or delete it or both. I have a RL I desperately need to get back to so it probably won't be me. But understand I have people asking me to stop THIS thread. So I don't think it's prophecy to say it probably won't last long. But who knows? Try it.

One last question, then.

In what section of the site do you think would be most appropriate for this? Off-topic, support or RPdiscussion?

Go ahead. It will still be subject to site rules. So...be careful.

What so you mean "be subject to the site rules" in this context? I have been trying my best to avoid breaking them all up to now, so this reads as if I'm doing something wrong by default. Are you really allowing me to post the thread, or are you simply saying "go ahead and try it because I will delete it anyway?"

I don't want to put any words in your mouth, but I do get the feeling it is the latter. I apologise if I assume incorrectly, but I do wish to confirm you are not out to shut down this hypothetical thread the moment I post it.

Not the thread for that. If you have questions I can answer that's fine but this isn't your platform for the anti-mod thing.

Would you be okay with me making a thread about the moderation policy on this site, then? Because if I cannot discuss it here, I would wish to discuss it elsewhere. If you claim this is not my platform, please let me make my own.

Ruby, please do not delete my posts. I am genuinely not posting in bad faith. My post was about having a discussion about how mods should be held accountable, the issue I entered this thread with, and I was not attacking you personally even though people have been claiming that of me.

@Skullwombat cumzone was an interesting example to choose... the warning thing is maybe a little harsh but to be honest if they gave them the benefit of the doubt by not issuing a ban discussing a warning (even in joke form) in statuses seems a good way to wear the good will out.

The person themselves asked me to tell you.

I'm not really making any statements on this.

For those who havent been banned

What notification gets given? Do they get the post/status/action they were banned for or a rule that is cited or linked to?

Can other admins view these details if they get asked?

I see a lot of people complaining about friends bans etc but its hard to asses when I don't know if they should have been shown exactly what they have been banned for. If someone is saying they dont know what they got banned for and it was actually right there in an email or something that changes how I'd view that complaint.

Such a procedure/feature may save you the why was i banned PM (or at least some).

I talked to them and they said they got the warning after their status went up and actually wanted to reply to it, but got banned before they could. I'm inclined to believe them as they never had a problem before this with moderators while you have a history of sniping.

This is true. I did wish to reply to the PM, and made the second status before I saw that I got it.

Cool. Nice version of reality.

This thread is about asking you questions and giving us feedback. I am trying to be reasonable about this, even if I take an antagonistic stance towards you. I don't want to use internet points as proof, but the amount of "likes" my posts are getting should indicate that my opinion is not a one-off instance.

Please engage me in a constructive manner, because I fear that you are only proving the point I am making about you being unfit for this position.

This entire post is crap. I've never spoken to you before so I'm guessing the people banned were your friends and you're angry about it. Great reason to harass someone you've never spoken to.

Literally all I've ever done was shitpost in the status bar. I have not gotten into trouble with a single mod before this point, and I have only gotten into trouble now because I think you are being unjust and unfair to a lot of the userbase. I have not made any attempt at directly harassing you and this is my first alt because I literally could not post on my main account when my opinion on the matter is incredibly poignant.

I have had amicable conversations with both Nutts and Poo about moderation. I think those two do their job in a reasonable and level-headed manner. I do not know enough about Legend, Hank or Stark to make a judgement call on those.

I have, however, seen you moderate. And I do not like it.

I am not trying to "harass" you in any way; I am saying you are unfit for a moderating position. You are too much of an emotional person, and the only reason you started this is because people have given significant pushback on the grounds of not only mine, but Moss' ban as well.

I am also the first person to stick up for Odin as I was the only one who noticed at the time. I think he does deserve a ban, because he has gone out of his way to spam the site with alts and absolutely destroy the bridges with the moderation team, but not permanent, and not for the reasons you banned him. He should be allowed to return to the site, and further, you should have no say in any moderation practices regarding him since it is clear you cannot put aside your bias and moderate him in a reasonable manner.
