Here we go again. I'm in, hope this lasts longer than the last one.

Not sure if I'd keep Powers or not, but I'm still interested.
Ishkaar
Azura Colony
Militia Central Command

Captain Adrian Garroway silently paced about the central holotable of the command center, the skeleton night staff leaving him alone to his musings. The silence galled him as a soldier. A veteran of the Sovereign Colonies Wars, the very idea of a command center being in such a state was anathema to him. But there was no choice, there were too few specialists to maintain the command center on a full-time basis. Instead a staggered on-watch, off-watch system stretched out the limited manpower available in addition to a lot more automation and VI-management than he was comfortable with. It was either this or not having any command staff aboard the Endeavor, which was already running on a skeleton crew besides the troops stationed up there.

Tapping the table to bring up a command console, he brought up a report from the recon corps. Grissom and Ramos colonies were acting up lately. More radical speeches and aggressive movements coming from Azura's neighbors on Ishkaar, calls for fighting for what they needed to survive in the face of rising native hostility and the lack of resupply from their sponsors in the Independent Systems Commonwealth making them desperate.

Making them look towards Azura, who just recieved a shipment of drones from the Eudaimonia Foundation which could be bought and shipped quickly while a full expeditionary force was being assembled and fueled up for the long jump to Dacyria. Those reinforcements were a long ways away.

In the morning, he'd have to talk to the President about what to do about their neighbors. And all the other newcomers to this world that were streaming in. He'd already received "offers" by PMC's offering security and order in exchange for basing and "amenities". Prices and terms verging on extortion in Adrian's opinion. He knew exactly what those mercs intended to turn this research colony into, and what they would likely look for. Not just for pretty faces and bars, but the valuable research data they held on bioengineering likely worth a fortune to someone. Not going to happen on his watch.

If Azura was to survive, it would have to deal with these problems by itself. And he was already beginning to think of a plan. Planning for said plan was interrupted though when an urgant report was relayed from a satellite drone just above Ramos.

"Get me the Endeavor on the horn!"

High Orbit
Colonial Starship Endeavor
Crew Quarters, Section 7

One thing that could be said for a colony ship was that it had plenty of space. Especially when a ship meant for 7,000 was occupied by just 300. The large central cargo bays when emptied of cargo and colonization supplies and improvised barracks offered plenty of room for anyone still onboard. Plenty of room for Zeta Squad to set up a impromptu training arena to practice in their Jackets against an array of training drones.

At the center was a lion-eared young man dancing against spinning remotes, with plenty of onlookers watching the show above on walkways. The Lion stomped left and right, firing bursts from his right-arm machinegun whilst serving and ducking the buzzing remote drones as best he could, only to catch a drone straight in the chest from a single mistep, sending him smacking into the side of the impromptu arena.

"Five minutes, nineteen seconds! Improvement of five seconds Tanner!" Called out Jaeger as he punched the off-switch command on the drone remote, sending the bots back into their alcove. "You alright down there?"

"Not certain sir. Can't feel my body." Slurred Claus from his slumped position with a large dent in his Jacket's chestplate. "Does it have to be so hard sergeant?"

"Tanner, the lieutenant can go at level 10 drones for a solid hour and she ain't a combat-type like you." Remarked the Pointman from his perch. "This is just embarrassing. Sain, Kent, go pick him up." The masked soldier gestured at the pair of clones.

"No need boss, the lion's pride is already on deck." Said Sain as a side gate into the arena opened, and Claus was promptly released from his Jacket's restraints by three sets of helping hands, with two concerned Hornet pilots and a Jacket-jock girl checking him for injuries and pressing a sports drink into his mouth and consoling him with a pat on the head to his dismay and verbal disagreement, before finally accepting being pampered when none of the three were relenting.

"Seriously? Why does this guy get all the girls?" Sain asked his clone brother as they both watched Claus be forcibly attended to while Jaeger and the Pointman left to get suited up for their own round of sparring. "I know he's good in a Jacket and in the sack, but that doesn't explain his popularity wherever he goes."

"Maybe he got pheromones in his lion-kit?" Postulated Kent, mildly amused by how Claus was now attempting to walk without ending up with a lady on both arms despite barely being able to stand on his own after the impact. It had been a recurring pattern with their squadmate to accumulate something of a 'pride' like a real Lion wherever he stayed for a period of time without even putting much dedicated thought to women unless they spelled out their relationship to his face, which they did. Personally, Kent had little interest himself in such personal affairs, free-love being one of the major tenents of the Eudaimonia Foundation afterall, but his brother-clone Sain simply wouldn't shut up about it.

"Could be it. We ought to ask. Oh snap, here comes the lieutenant." Both clones snapped to attention at the characteristic footsteps of Lieutenant May as she strode across the catwalks with a firm resolve in full Jacket armor, with both shoulders and arms loaded with guns and firepower. Yet the most stunning thing about her at first glance were the pink stripes across her armor and weapons to match her genetically-ingrained pink hair. Not that it made her any less fearsome in the eyes of the Westinghouse clones as she turned her glare down at the scene below.

"Tanner! Bishop! Redrosa! Mapleton! Stop playing around and clean this up! Training is canceled, briefing from command in five minutes!" Ordered Lieutenant May, her soprano voice starkly contrasting with her harsh tone as she didn't even bat an eyelid at the scene before her. "Be prepared for rapid deployment, it looks like Ramos is about to make the first move on us, and I want Zeta at the ready! Do you hear me?"

"WE HEAR YOU MA'AM!"
Faction Sheet

Faction Name: The Eudaimonia Foundation, Azura Colony
Faction Type: Colony
Affiliation: The Eudaimonia Foundation
Leader(s):
Council President Helena Hawthorne, A-type

Chief of Azura Militia Captain Adrian Garroway, Liberator A-type

Persons of Importance:
Chief Engineer Arasmus Chekov, B-type Thinker-variant

Azura Militia, Zeta Squad
Lieutenant Serina May, B-type Venus-variant
Sergeant Major Davos Jaeger, B-type Atlas-variant.
Corporal Claus Tanner, C-type Lion-familiar
Privates Sain and Kent, Westinghouse-clone B-types, Pioneer variants

Civilian Assets:
* Bioengineering for All: Every colonist of Azura Colony is genetically-engineered to some extent, with physical and mental abilities above the human norm, or in a few special cases exceeding it greatly.
* Molecular Forge: Azura Colony has a noted advantage in possessing a molecular forge, an adaptable and flexible high-tech manufacturing system capable of Industrial 3D printing of most base materials and electronics. It cannot reproduce advanced electronics or optronics, and depends heavily upon detailed schematics to produce anything, but it is of immense utility in production of equipment Azura does have schematics for.
* Comfortable Living: Azura colony is not a hardscrabble outpost. Its a well-maintained colony with plenty of creature comforts and comfortable living standards for its colonists.

Military Assets:
* Bred for Battle- The small Azura Colony security force is bolstered by the fact that every soldier in its ranks has mandatory gene-modding ontop of their pre-existing mod-type, creating fighters that are naturally fit, energetic, calm under fire, and are more effective than the average human soldier. However they are facing severe manpower and equipment shortages due to their recent accelerated growth, and many of them are new recruits that haven’t seen real battle before.
* Mobile Land, Sky, and Space- For all the Azura Security’s manpower and material problems, they have no shortage of aircraft or spacecraft to contest the skies and orbit, or haul their troops where needed on planet.
* Orbital Support- The original colony ship to found Azura still remains in orbit, and has been refitted by Azura Security to act as a mobile staging base to deploy troops and fighters as well as basic artillery support from orbit.

Military Units
Infantry

"Jacket" Improvised Powered Armor
As the tempo of conflict and native uprisings increases on Dacyira, the Azura colonists are forced to arm themselves to protect their technology and research despite having to build a private security force from scratch. One early effort was to repurpose load-lifting exoskeletons into basic powered armor to carry more guns and equipment into battle, and when paired with a skilled operator is quite effective. While not the best powered armor, the gene-modded fighters of Azura can get a lot more performance out of these suits than a regular human could.

Beater Powered Armor
A heavy weapons powered armor suit derived from imported mercenary hardware and lessons learned from the Jacket’s early iterations, the Beater is a multiple weapons systems deployment platform. While it does little to augment the wearer’s speed or reflexes and burdens them with considerable weight despite powered servos, it lets them carry a pair of heavy weapons on their shoulders along with dual-wielding wrist weapons without too much encumbrance. Despite ongoing production and replacement plans, Beaters only make up a fraction of A-Sec’s armor supply and can’t replace Jackets, and only the heavy-muscle variant C and B types can haul this armor into battle. But when they do, they are walking tanks.

Vehicles
Sentinel Automated Tank
To supplement Azura's extremely limited manpower base, a number of Sentinel Automated tanks are being utilized to supplement ground forces with some degree of armor support. Armed with a 100mm autoloaded cannon, the Sentinel is a squad-support vehicle meant to follow infantry and provide covering fire and heavy ordinance support. Their limited AI makes them unsuitable for independent operations and they can be outmaneuvered by human-driven vehicles. But they are simple and easy for even a colony to replace in bulk, something Azura is striving towards.

Aircraft
Hornet Fighter
A chance bulk-purchase backed by Foundation funding just as the conflict over Dacyria began to arise to combat the threat of piracy, the Hornet forms the basis of Azura's entire aerial defense force. While second-rate merc hardware, Hornets are reliable and rugged VTOL craft well-suited for colonial combat that can be refitted with a range of payloads and can even travel and fight in space. They are typically armed with a pair of 35mm autocannons paired with anti-air and anti-ground missiles. However Azura has more Hornets than they have trained pilots.

Spacecraft
Refitted colony ship Endeavor
The Endeavor is Azura colony's founding colony ship that brought them to Dacyria. After colonization, the ship was retained for zero-g labspace and orbital surveying, and the colony made do with prefab housing and facilities instead of cannibalizing the ship into their colony. With the rising tensions and conflict on and above the planet, the Azura Militia have commandeered the Endeavor into a mobile staging base for their rapid-reaction forces and half of the Hornet and dropship wings, as well as retrofitting mass driver and laser turrets into the ship as basic defenses against enemy ships. Despite the ongoing refits, the Endeavor is hardly a warship, and furthermore is operating on a skeleton crew and extensive automation for even basic operations. But its a critical linchpin in Azura defenses until reinforcements from the core worlds arrive.

Brief History:
The Eudaimonia Foundation is a interstellar organization dedicated to furthering human transhumanism through genetic engineering, preferably in ways that would allow for all humanity to benefit rather than a small elite, and are noted to be one of the “nicest” transhuman organizations around, with prolong extended lifespans and youth being standard-issue for all of its members.

Azura colony was founded as a branch to investigate how local genetics and environment could improve upon retroviral engineering to allow for advanced genetic modifications to be “back-engineered” into adult subjects. While they have made significant strides in retroviral engineering, their research and advanced infrastructure has also begun to make them a target to the other colonies jealous of their achievements and rich resources they sit upon but do not exploit. Forcing Azura colony to raise a defense force and call to Foundation headquarters for additional support and security, and dig in for the storm to come.

Yet necessity is the mother of innovation, and Azura Colony is more than willing to rise to the challenges to come.

Other:
Every member of the Eudaimonia Foundation is gene-modded in some form, consisting of a general template the subject conforms to via engineering or hereditary genetics, along with personal gene-mods the subject adapts themselves.

Mod-type Templates

C-type: Effectively the baseline genemod of the Eudaimonia Foundation, generally just small modifications to improve health, immune systems, metabolism, deletion of any genetic ailments and disorders, and basic prolong and youth extension. These make up the majority of the Foundation because of how easy they are to implement and their great flexibility of personal customization in comparison to the more rigid archetypes of the higher-class genemod types.

C-type Variants:
* Familiar add-on mod: Less a variation and more of a add-on specialization ontop of standard C-mods, the Familiar family of supplemental modification provides a user with traits and abilities similar to a selected animal (A cat-type would have greater balance and perception, a dog-type would emphasize smell and determination, etc) with ears and tail to match (they arn’t splicing animal DNA in, just traits to make it look like it). Considered one of the greatest examples of retroviral engineering, users can with minor difficulty change familiars over time, although its impossible to have more than one.

B-type: An advanced comprehensive package of cognitive and intellectual upgrades on top of the physical benefits of a C-type package, B-type genemods effectively make a person peak-human in several respects; physically, mentally, socially, although rarely all at once. Most B-types are optimized and specialized in one or two areas. Extended prolong is also included in the template, ensuring greatly extended lifespans and youth. Programs are in progress to retroviral engineer B-mods into C-types, although they are presently of varying effectiveness in breeding true. Furthermore B-types are not as genetically flexible as C-types, and can’t accept as many add-on mods.

B-type Variants:
* Venus-Type: A social interaction template meant to optimize individual empathy and charisma, as well as memory and physical beauty. Venus-types tend to have bodies that "merely" start at very attractive and perfectly-proportioned, and work up from there as their mods assert themselves and they find their social niche to work into. They are usually marked by a preference for unusual hair colors.
*Thinker-type: An A-type knockoff template focusing solely on cognitive and intellectual abilities, Thinker-mods effectively turn the user into a powerful living computer capable of astounding feats in complex thinking, computer interactions and interface, theoretical engineering, and high synchronization with mind-machine interfaces which they tend to wear all the time. Thanks to decades of engineering, Thinkers are not socially crippled or erratic, but they arn’t party-people either and prefer to be alone or with other Thinkers.

A-Type: Beyond peak human in all respects, A-types are rare individuals that through advanced gene-engineering, technology, family genetics, or plain luck have yielded truly exceptional and superior genetics and abilities in all regards. Physically, mentally, socially, cognitively, a A-type is outright superior in all respects, and they tend to gravitate towards leadership roles accordingly. However reliably reproducing or replicating A-type templates is exceedingly difficult, as a procedure for one person may not work for another, nor do they breed true. Attempts to study and reliably replicate A-types are one of the major focuses of the Foundation.

A-type Variants:
* Liberator-type: A high-intensity combat genemod type meant to produce supersoldiers through improved agility, reflexes, and hardiness under fire via modified adrenaline glands to promote rational and calm thinking even in pitched combat situations, rather than emphasizing aggression and muscle (although they have a fair share of that as well) producing exceedingly high-quality soldiers. Liberators are extremely difficult to engineer though, and despite being a reliable A-type template available to the Foundation there are only a dozen among the Foundation with little impetus to create or import more from offworld. They also have a noted flaw of not being able to control when their “battle reflex” kicks in off the battlefield, resulting in treating social or intellectual activities like a warzone, with according negative results.
Jumping in this as a corporation with a bunch of private security and surplus military hardware to sell. This will be interesting.
I'm game for all three NRP ideas, but I like the Adruis and Final Frontier ideas the most.

I also like the idea of non-generic NRPs, with unconventional gameplay and focus beyond large nations. I like more personal-centered NRP's, where major figures greatly sway the course of nations and societies and wars. Alternatively, we could have a NRP more centered around ideologies and beliefs instead of technology and raw numbers.

Regardless of what you intend, I look forward to any of them.

Planet Eudaimonia
House Wander Estate of Ark-01

Amidst the visage of the peaceful ocean before him, Lord Radcliffe Wander could tell there was dark change in the air. Here, on Eudaimonia he could escape the growing darkness in court and among his opposite Nobility. The growing tides of war and conflict and the need to escape. No one would admit it, but he could see the writing on the wall and the reports passed his way by his agents that things were looking grimmer.

Which in a way, could be considered good for a man in his position. Business was thriving, for common-folk and nobility alike sought escape from reality that could be provided on the idyllic serenity on Eudaimonia. Resorts were packed, transport liners were arriving daily, and the river of wealth that flowed into House Wander's coffers was threatening to turn into a waterfall at this present rate of increase. Yet it was the unknown and unquantified nature of that flow of wealth that was distressing him so.

A soft hand on his shoulder snapped him out of his revere, as he turned to look upon the visage of his beloved wife in one of her flowing dark violet dresses, with her maternal empathy melting away the ice in his heart. "Is something the matter my husband?" Asked Lyndis as she pulled herself in close to his body as they both stood watching the sea.

"Its about our treasury. It looks like its about to explode again. We might need to buy a new Strauss numbered bank account to hold it all." Radcliffe replied, with a half smirk on his face which his wife returned. "I am worried about how our business is going a bit too well these days and what it means."

"Bread and circuses, luxury and excess, such is the purpose of our Houses as laid down by the Founding Charter and a purpose we have fulfilled beyond even our ancestor's abilities and resources. I know something deeper ails you Radcliffe."

"Its because of how much of that wealth is coming from the masses. We have a full battlegroup's worth of Ducal Fleet crew laid up for R&R, but the amount that their officers and crew are spending is being superseded in a hundred areas....we are being courted. By whom, I have yet to determine. But much of the wealth we are receiving is being paid in Gold and Platinum Throne Credits. I have a feeling we'll be receiving a visit soon. But whether it is from the Regent or another House seeking favor.....we know too little."

"Hm." Lyndis gave a little pout as she turned her husband's head to look into his eyes. "Well we will not be coming to any further answers on an empty stomach. Come, let us put these ill thoughts to rest. It is one of the few times we come together as a family afterall."

"Yes m'lady." Radcliffe smiled, following the guidance of his wife as she pulled him into the open dining hall where three of his children were already sitting together discussing the contents of a holo-screen before them. Adrian, his firstborn and rising star pride of the House Guard, soon to rise to his own command of the House Guard as a Commodore after his service in the Ducal Fleet. Nathan, the secondborn merchant son that was able master of the House's growing shipping and resorts alike. Victoria, the wolf-eared daughter who favored both fighting and song alike in the style of her mother.

If it wasn't for the knowledge that prolong made everyone in the room look less than half their true age, Radcliffe might have still doted upon his children as if they were still young teenagers. Sometimes he still did. Such as now as he shushed the House Guard at the doorway so he might sneak up on his children to see what they were so intensely focused on discussing amongst themselves. Which in this case were the exact same financial reports he had read himself just earlier.

"May I assume we are all on the same page?" He inquired, sparking a yelp and a jump from Nathan while the other two siblings calmly turned around and stood up to greet their patriarch who simply smiled warmly. "Good, then that saves me the trouble of broaching the fact that we are now stupendously wealthy and getting richer by the minute and we don't know exactly how."

"Our GDP has almost doubled in the last financial quarter and still rising." Commented Nathan. "While our investments into airship resorts have paid off big time, that doesn't explain the sheer amount of patronage we seem to be having from the Ducal Fleet and many noble houses far beyond the norm of the past 20 years."

"Or the number of advance bookings in every hotel, resort, and cabin there is to be had on this world and its moons." Added Victoria. "The bidding is much more intense than usual. I doubt its the work of any one person or House. But its also....how did you put it Adrian?"

"Disorganized. This kind of heavy spending by mercs and crew ratings and officers and lesser nobles is all over the place. Either its something really big pulling the strings, or everyone is just thinking along the same lines of thought all at the same time." Finished Adrian, looking to his father for his assessment to be judged. Radcliffe nodded in approval and gestured for his children to sit at the table as he took the seat at its head.

"You are all correct, although I wish you were not mirroring my own same doubts on the matter so precisely. Perhaps it is nothing and simply a tourism spree we are late in catching onto, but I would prefer to learn more about how this situation is coming about to come to a better judgement on things. And more importantly, to determine what to do with all our new money.....erm, where is Claus and Helena?" All three of the younger Wanders just sighed and rolled their eyes while Nathan pointed at the door over his shoulder.

"Helena is busy freshening up, you know how she hates mornings. Claus went to go wake her up." Explained Nathan, just as the chamber doors opened for the other two youngest Wander siblings to enter, the fox-eared girl in a loose robe being dragged along by the arm by a visibly young lion-boy in a set of silk pajamas and was waking up on his own as well. "Ah, speak of the devil. Hows our young lion doing today? Have a nice night Claus?" With the latter words being spoken as if implying the youngest Wander had been doing anything but sleep. Claus just smiled off the verbal jab.

"For once, yes I slept my straight-laced big brother." Retorted the youngest Wander sibling as he brought the still sleepy Helena to her seat and stifling a yawn. "I was busy all last evening talking with Lady-Captain Kasador of the Ducal Fleet in regards to an extensive platinum companionship vacation package on my resort and with some of my girls, and I needed the sleep for a change."

"Let me guess, she is spending far more than what would be considered normal for a captain of the Fleet?" Inquired Radcliffe as he watched the youngest of his children take his place right next to his mother, who proceeded to pet the lion-boy to his mock annoyance.

"Yes it was in fact. But it was more along the lines of Kasador being indulgent as a battlecruiser captain rather than coming into a lot of money and being told to spend it all here. I have a feeling she was doing it to try and impress me." Remarked Claus as he scooted in and scowled at his mother for being touchy, which Lyndis responded to with a smile that he couldn't retort against as he submitted to further petting. "So the source of this house's newfound wealth isn't coming from the Ducal Fleet. Directly at least. What are we going to do with it all anyway?"

"We are going to finish what my father started." Declared Radcliffe, sparking interest from all five Wander siblings as they attentively listened to what their patriarch had to say at the mention of the long-passed Klyber Wander, the man who sparked House Wander's rising star growth in recent years. "I'm ordering renewed investment into our terraformer reproduction plans, as well as planned expansion into the southern continent to extend our resort zones to match rising demand for comforts in these dark times as soon as we can confirm the new stations work. In addition, I'm ordering new work on the Legendary and opening negotiations with the Ducal Reserve Fleet for the purchase of new ships to expand our House Fleet. That in turn will require new discussions with the Regent's direct underlings or the Regent herself on the matter of our House's standing on stellar affairs. I am certain she will be amicable to the offers we can make. We have wealth, we must now use it while we have it, and pin down where it is all coming from while we are at it.

I will also be approving major increases to each of your discretionary funds, so if you see opportunities you will have the resources to seize them. I will speak with each of you in turn as to our House's next moves and my expectations of each of you, but it can wait until after breakfast. The chief is eager to try out his new waffle recipes ever since we got ahold of Yew Maple Syrup, and I quite look forward to his latest results-"
Faction Name: House Wander
Faction leader(s): Lord Radcliffe Wander
System(s):Celestine

Planet(s)/Territories:
Eudaimonia, terraformed terran pleasure world. Terraformed in the age of the Imperium to be a luxury resort for the high nobility, its role has changed little since the Fall.

Faction Desc: A House best-characterized by the pleasure world of Eudaimonia, House Wander is an ancient house dating back to the Arcturus Imperium that has always been the custodians of the greatest pleasure world in the Agamenos Sector, a role which has been steadily expanding across the generations as the value of Eudaimonia and pleasure rises. While the House has few aspirations for the Ducal throne, they are noted power-players in the noble courts because of the luxury resorts they hold, the connections they have, and the wealth they can readily afford to spend and replace with ease.

Yet as the Grand Duchy begins to deteriorate, the House is beginning to rouse from their complacency to face the growing issues and challenges emerging both from within and beyond the boundaries of the Duchy. And they are more than willing to rise to the challenge.

History:
The world that is Eudaimonia was formerly an arid rock discovered a thousand years ago by the Arcturus Imperium at the height of their power.

Government type: Hereditary Aristocracy

Members of House Wander:

House Lord Radcliffe Wander

House Matriarch Lyndis Starborn-Wander

Firstborn son and House Heir Adrian Wander

Secondborn Son Nathan Wander

Thirdborn Daughter Victoria Wander

Fourthborn Daughter Helena Wander

Fifthborn Son Claus Wander

Military Capabilities:
House Wander’s private house fleet is primarily charged with the protection and custodianship of Eudaimonia, with its origins and martial roots resting in the original Custodian Fleet of the Arcturus era. While not a militant house, the wealth continuously traveling through Eudaimonia allows House Wander to afford heavier ships than a mid-rank House would normally possess, and the Ducal Fleet is willing to turn a blind-eye towards their acquisition of advanced klein-bottle shield technology as part of their protector role.

Ground Forces

Relations with Other Factions: WIP

In general, every Noble House prefers to be on at least decent standing with House Wander in order to obtain a luxury resort on Eudaimonia or one of its moons, and House Wander prefers to be friends with as many people as possible and stay out of inter-House conflicts.
If people want a casual Sci-fi Nation Roleplay, I'm game to GM one. I'm a NRP veteran and know a lot about how to play and run one. It would be loosely stat-based, but more centered around individual heroes each nation would have.

Would that attract some people's interest?
NOOOOOOOOO

Hope things get better for you. Might make my own strike witches game in due time, I dunno. What does everyone else think?
"The meat? Just canned Spam. Can't get any decent ham in this battlezone. The Karlslanders get a couple cans every once in a while as part of their iron rations, but they really don't like parting with them." Offhandedly remarked Powers, before taking a closer look at the young Brittanian's face to realize what she was really asking. "No, that isn't rat meat. Not that there are many rats around here to begin with. But no, I have standards when it comes to sandwich making, no rat meat or raw meat of any kind. In fact, I've got a portable grill right on hand and can make wonders with even basic supplies." She gave her Striker's rear radiator a slight pat to point out how well cleaned off it was. Like a iron griddle. "Only issue is butter. Can't get much of the stuff. If you find any, point me to it pretty please? I can cook a lot better than a army kitchen."

When the other officer Witches started flying out, Powers reflexively snapped to attention. Less a practiced motion than a simple body reaction. Powers was used to formality after hanging around Karlslanders, but she tried to slouch a couple centimeters against her usual habit so she could get a look at the other's coming out of the hanger. Certainly an international bunch, with witches from across all of the Allies. And naturally she was at the bottom of the totem pole like miss Siobhan. Fun. It took effort to show even a small grin to match those thoughts though. Smiling wasn't something she naturally did often now.

I REALLY need to loosen up a little. She inwardly screamed, giving up on Liberion boisterism and standing rigid straight at attention in the presence of officers until called upon.
