Mid/High Casual - Divinus: The Deity Roleplay Mk.II

So we have four options I believe for the Demi to come into existence. I'll leave it to up you guys to decide. I'm not very picky about the origins of my character.

The options being,
Niciel
Make a deal with Belraurc
Find a nice looking mortal woman and pull a Zeus
Turn a rock on the planet into a sentient rock

Tagging @BBeast so he can look at a summary of what we've come up with so far.

So, any takers to be the mother of a Demi of Smithing? @BBeast's Teknall would be the father.

Others have suggested @The Omnipotent Sphere's Belraurc or @Scarifar's Niciel. Any interest? Or any suggestions? I could wait for things to naturally develop between characters, I'm not particularly impatient.

Cyclone's mortal mother suggestion is a thing too.

If you wait until mortal races develop, the mother could just be an ordinary mortal. Otherwise, perhaps Belruac? Teknall asks for help building things, and she delivers said help by chucking a son at him?

The mortal mother thing might be a little difficult, since I want to have my demi be a literal rock-man. Sorta like a golem. I can't imagine how painful pushing out a rock baby might be.
That is if I'm allowed to have a golem looking Demi.

Essentially, you want to be a demigod of the Crafting domain _{(welp, there goes my monopoly)}, desired portfolio of Metallurgy/Smithing/Metalworking (they're all basically the same thing). Kho is saying that this choice (basically, anything in the Crafting Domain) has very strong overlap with Teknall (who is a Crafting (Masonry) god, planning to expand into (Carpentry/Woodworking) and (Metallurgy/Smithing/Metal Working), and more).

If your heart is really set on Crafting (Metallurgy), then you can. If you take that portfolio, Teknall shall be your demigod's father (who else would it be?), and he will take you as his apprentice. We just need to figure out a mother.

I'm actually set on Crafting (Smithing), I'm not as big on Metallurgy. So I'll be making a Demi of Smithing.
But yeah, I know that it's under Teknall's thing, so I figured as much that Teknall would be the dad. No idea who the mother will be, though.

Since no one wants it, I'm planning on writing a post now and going ahead with my idea. I also have a long-term plan for it, so this might just prove useful xP

@Skyrte Since metallurgy is really close to BBeast's, and I want to expand on the diversity we have, do you reckon you have anything else in mind?
If you are really stumped and aren't interested in anything else, I guess you can go for it, but if you can think up something that we're missing, that would be great.
And yes, a god and a demigod can have the same Portfolio, but upon ascension there will be a clash and they will have to fight for their territory.

Alright.
I can rework it to be a Demi of Metalworking and Woodworking.

For Metalworking, he would have the skills for being a Smith, Jeweler, and Founder. In Woodworking he'd be able to do Carpentry, Carving, uh... Furniture. That sort of stuff.
So he'd be production of things, but he'd still need to go out and get the materials the old fashioned way. Sound good? I'd like to keep it in the same vein as making things.

That raises an interesting question:
@Kho, two gods can't share the same Portfolio. Can a god and a demigod have the same portfolio, though? Or is that also not allowed?
If not, that is a shame. I wanted Metallurgy. In that case, we should sort out a way for Skyrte's demigod to be Teknall's kid.

Yeah, as Guess said, all you really need is name, appearance, and bio. And really, bio is optional too. However, I'd like it if you would flesh your sheet out with other things, such as skills or equipment. It gives the rest of us a better idea as to what kind of role your character would play in a scenario.
