My Very Brief Bio

Male, 31 years old. (So I'm practically dead, as we speak.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

My 1X1 Interest Check: SleepingSilence's Tavern (Want 1x1 RP's? Please come in.)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Warning 480p quality was the best I could find.
I will raise this thread, back from the dead.

Made some Cajun Chicken and some Cheese Ravioli for dinner. A tasty combination.

I've offered to cook my family's thanksgiving dinner. So we could have it at my house. And so I can make & eat some good potatoes. (But we might end up just going out to eat. I dunno.)

What's everyone else been cooking lately?

In a "don't knock it, till you try it" of the day. I made a Buffalo Ranch Shrimp Salad for lunch. (It was only sad, when I found recipes for it online, after the fact.)
My recent bit of gaming.

Enjoyed: Chicken Police (Blacksad, but done right and more engaging in its story.)

Need to play more of: Dark Souls / Subnautica (My attention span is failing me. But minor nitpicks aside, I've enjoyed my time with these. But I also can't seem to motivate myself to play a longer game to completion.)

Why am I even playing this?: Botworld Adventure (It's a mobile game. But it's tolerable, I guess? Don't ask.)

Wanted to like more than I do: Celeste (Pretty art style. Though its controls are so fucking clunky. And I don't know if I can find the right controller/set-up to amend it.)

Immediate Hatred: Unexplored (Crappy puzzle-rooms in a roguelike, that has the least good tutorial I've seen in a while.)

Steam's recent sale has a lot of my wishlist on discount. So tempting, but I don't need to spend more money of vidya games right now.

What has everyone else been playing?
Isotope
Beach
Lesson of the past few months: Contractors are overpaid & useless. (Sorry contractors, but according to most of your own conversations, everyone else you know completely sucks at this job too.)

Believe me, this comment is a vast understatement of what I've been dealing with.

But on the bright side, I finally made the front of my house all spoopy, with Halloween decorations. Even had my other next door neighbor, finally introduce himself & give me a skelly to use. (And I've had a pretty good October too, all things considered.)

I just hope there's enough kids on all the streets nearby, to justify the amount of candy that I bought in preparation.
No. Should I?

And maybe? It'll probably be one of those shows that won't be as good as the books. Know very little about either, I'm afraid.

What were you last watching, reading, or playing since you read this question? And would you recommend it?
