Every time I see a new combat-oriented character posted I cackle maniacally. If only you all knew.
Anyway, accepted. I was going to nitpick that I mentioned culture/race was uniform across Oasis, but there's really no non-racist way to say "Yo, your character is too black."

IC, this is quite a large caravan. Dozens of people.

I would lean towards the alchemist if only for the fact that we have so many criminals, ex criminals, and maybe criminals.
Of course, go ahead and make a CS.
Revolvers in mid-1800's were fairly accurate, they just had shitty range xD
Most gunfights took place within 25 yards or so. As Snag mentioned, they were also very expensive to maintain and purchase ammo for.
Guns wont function terribly well in a desert environment either (sand gets into it and gums it up), so that's also a hazard to be mindful of. So there's a serious list of pros and cons to consider. >.<
Well, that's assuming I was going with 1800's technology across the board, and not having some forms of firearms much more evolved than others.
But, yeah, I'll allow cap and ball revolvers on the principle that I didn't exactly disallow them.
@POOHEAD189I wasn't looking for pistol technology to be quite so advanced, but I already sort of let it slide for another character. Keep in mind that ammunition is ludicrously expensive though. It may be more prudent to use a rifle.
@HopelesRomantisAccepted, although keep in mind if he ever actually had gotten within 50 meters of The Pack he would be dead.
