"Gwen, do you mind laughing loudly while I talk about Ezra's penis size? I think he's watching us. Nature magic."

I CAN'T BREATHE
@Snarl Have you already decided who is going to be kidnapped?

Of course. I'm going to start writing the time skip post and have it up when everyone's ready.

Yeah, if I post again, it'll be pretty short. So I think I'll wait for the skip before I post again. Hopefully Farrest gets to see the bud and tell Aldric exactly what he might be in for.

"Dad so about that flower on my window.."
"Oh yeah- odd little thing, that."
"Yeah it just sprouted overnight."
"Oh that must be the Ascythenia."
"Oh well then tell me about it-"
"I honestly can't remember- something about dying? It is a little odd that "scythe" is in the flowers name."
"Dad stop that can't be it."
"But come on its a little s u s p i c i o u s."
"Dad..."
"I dunno son- it was nice knowing you."
"Dad.."
"Lmao jk you're going to be paired off with someone- I got you for a second though- right? right?"
"Don't talk to me."

Is probably how the conversation is going to go.

@Savo Ahh I'm glad I misunderstood c:

Btw Savo have you been reading russian literature? Your style reminds me of reading Crime and Punishment- where the descriptions of the scene are bulky paragraphs of the characters feelings projected on things. And when they speak its usually commentary rather than conversation. Laciel does have some Raskolinkov qualities- a scholar great in mind but a social cripple.
Lol okay I'll follow the original plan then. If everything goes well- we'll start the action plot tomorrow after Savo and Ajah post.
@BlueAjah the action plot will start after a time skip that leads into the night- where one of the characters would then be kidnapped.

I was thinking the time skip would be after you and Savo post. Maybe after the interaction between Guin, Varric, Ezra, and Laciel? Idk.

When would you guys believe the time skip to be best?

@Savo Thanks man- I was starting to worry you abandoned.
Okay so it's going today instead so I'll be away friday morning.

Noted.
Sweetness. I might think about that a bit later. Oh and a warning, the laptop is going away to be repaired tonight so I won't get it back until tomorrow afternoon sometime.

Ah alright- no problem.
@Adorabadass The folklore was really great I loved it :o

If anyone else wants to make up mythologies like that I'm totally okay with it. The world of Erendira is ours- we can develop it any way we see fit.
@Snarl
Because if they did then Illya would be out of the question as well because they can't be snuck up on by anything that isn't a thief and two levels higher than them.

Ohhh- wow that is a really good point to. But the kidnapper has an ability that has made them untraceable for so long. They're just physically weak. So Aldric would have the highest chance of escaping- plus I ruled him out because- if he were to escape he'd be able to return to the Vale most easily- since he knows the forest so well.

I presume the other characters have never gone as far into the Angar as Aldric has. Varric would be a close second. And then Ilya the third.

Actually- yeah Violet. Illya probs won't be kidnapped either.

And thats as far as I'll narrow it down for you guys xD I refuse to reveal anything else.
@Snarl
Are D&D rules in affect here?

I've never played D&D. So no. Why?
South End- the Bakery

The doe's eyes widened and it whipped its head out of the bakery window- just as the baker walked in. The man was covered in flour and he smelled of cinnamon. He looked down at his son and then at the ranger- who stood in the room alone. He noted the half eaten baguette on the floor and the baker narrowed his eyes at Farrest,

"You're going to have to pay for that, Farrest."

The ranger sighed and snagged some coppers out of his coat, tossed it to the baker, only to dash out eithout another word.

He ran to where the doe and his son were- and there he found Aldric struggling to hold down one of the does legs at it began to tug away frantically. He feared that the frightened thing would buck his boy in the face- so the ranger held up the sunflower for the doe to see. His tone was soothing and calm as he spoke to it,

"Shh shh- there now- calm down girl." He held the sunflower out to her, "Calm down." With his free hand he unhooked another lasso from his belt and with a quick flick of the wrist managed to get the noose around her neck. A sharp tug tightened the knot- they had her.

But the doe was still frantic. It began cycling through voices as cried out,

"You're going to have to pay for that, Farrest." Over and over. The ranger shot his son a look.

"Alright. I'm disturbed. Lets lead her out of here before I get nightmares." He nodded in the direction of the forest so Aldric could lead them there.
