Dammit, smell! Why do you always lie about the taste of things!? Bread is never as good as you say it is! And vanilla extract tastes like petrified ass! PETRIFIED ASS!

Punching out Nazis and wrestling a yeti, sitting at home with some festive Spaghetti, rigging my boots up with high-power springs... These are a few of my favorite things!

Still trying to figure out whether the Crusades qualify as actual wars, or a steaming hot mess of clusterfarkery best accompanied by the Benny Hill theme...

The terrible scratching noise persists. As he drinks, he may start to notice that the walls are looking quite gray and ashy around the edges... There are even ashy footprints on the floor, leading from his desk, to the balcony, and then... off...?

Something is very wrong with that air in the middle of the room, and the scratching is now accompanied by what sounds like... Tearing...

"That just looks like the schedule..." the clerk said, adjusting her glasses and struggling to see, "Except the writing... But it looks oddly familiar..."

She leaned her chin on her hand as she thought for a good few seconds. "One of the cleaners might've done that as a joke... Or completely seriously, we still have a lot of crows around here. Don't worry, they aren't mean or anything, but some employees might have ticked them off. I think they remember faces?"
@DJAtomika

The note was written in a hurry, by someone who didn't exactly have time to create full sentences, apparently.

"Careful: beasts"
There was a hastily scrawled thing next to it. Perhaps it represented a door, but it was impossible to be sure.

[Eviledd1984]

"HELLO MEATNEW APE," the note began, it was in an oddly specific font... On what looked to be the same kind of paper he brought with him... In fact, the ink ribbon on his typewriter was a little dry.

"YOUR PERPRESENCE IS DDEMANDED BY CAERBOG. YOU BLMUST TRANSCEND FURTHER. HEAD CHEWTO THE NORTH STATUE IN FRONT OF THE HOTELL. THERE YOUN WILL FIND THE STATUE OF MCAERBOG IN PLACE OF THE OLD BLASPHEMOUS ONE.BURNGET OUT OF BURN THE ROOM BEFORE THE SCRATCHY HERETICMAN GETS IN. CAERBOG EXPECTSANTICIPATES YOUR ARRRIVAL ONLY IN DUE TIME. IF YOU CANNOT GET TO THE STATUE DO NOT BE AFRAID. CAERBOG WILL FIND YOU NEW APE. CAERBOG ALWAYS FINDS YOU."

It ended with a splotch. Someone with thin fingers must have tried to change the ink ribbon and gave up shortly afterward. At least whoever did this wasn't rude enough to use your wite-out without permission too.

Jonathan is in the process of entering another level of the inception, so to speak. She wouldn't hear the thing in the vents unless she's in a compromised state of mind, (strong emotions, overwhelmed by information, dizzy from getting up too fast, asleep, on drugs, etc.) and they might not be percieving the same thing. Though I guess she might hear Jonathan himself, if he's panicked enough.

When he ducked down, his ears were assaulted with a terrible noise, a loud burst as the grate exploded open just out of view and... A note came out, floating down in front of him. He could hear something crawling back up the vent as the scratching persisted...
Nikolai, a frugal individual never to turn down the opportunity for a good looting on the battlefield, gently pawed at the sword handle with the back of his fingers. He wouldn't pick it up outright yet, because melee weapons in his homeworld had all kinds of security measures. Magic spells, fingerprint-activated tasers, alien mind-control symbiotes... Kidney squids... Pofski momentarily shuddered at the memory. If this thing was dangerous, he'd like to know for sure before committing an actual grip to it...
@DJAtomika

The note wasn't very unusual. It was made out of the same fancy, strangely indestructible paper as her invitation.

Pool Hours: 24/7, 4:00 AM - 12: PM on weekends for cleaning.

Breakfast: 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Lunch: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Dinner: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The odd thing, however, was that someone had scribbled something in barely legible print along the bottom. It was two words long, and one of them started with a B, probably...

The simultaneous uppening and downening may momentarily blur his vision and skew his balance. He could, to some extent, feel the anger of whatever it was behind the grate, pounding and pounding away. Something with teeth tried to nip at his knuckle as the force behind it dented and dented the loud, metal sheet...

It isn't long before the delicious brain-powder begins its glorious consumption. His heart rate may speed up, and perhaps he may become aware of some things less observant people might not be... Cocaine isn't normally a hallucinogen, which makes it especially odd when there's such an odd scratching noise, seemingly coming out of the air in the middle of the room, clawing and clawing, like a rat in the walls of reality itself, or something else that claws... It's quite a disgusting scratching sound, it feels quite like a spider scraping its legs around the walls of one's ear, yet also a good distance away from him.
This is what I feel like. And not in a good way. :(

New Indian restaurant?
@Eviledd1984

"Oh, not really. Dinner will be served at 6:00-8:00 tonight." the woman said, checking her computer again, "I don't know if there's anything else, but Mr. Beaumond will likely announce further events over dinner."

She adjusted her glasses and looked up at Jonathan for a second.

"Are you quite comfortable, sir?"

@DJAtomika

Elise was treated to a breeze from the air vent quickly obliging her request. There was a small table up against the wall, beneath the thermostat. It looked like some sort of list was on it.
