Writing for The Labour challenge that won't be finished but oh wlelllll

Aklin.

Long before the airs of our kind, leaned that of another. 
	Amorphous beings ruled this land. Lurking in the dark and frolicking about choosing which ever form they would like to take to stalk their prey. Following and taunting them throughout the shadows; only to let up when the light had shown upon their skin. As light was their only weakness, it bubbled and burned them so, with screams they would combust upon themselves if left there to long. Such a marvelous sight to see. 

They had learned better than to reveal themselves to the light long before the prey began to harness it. Curling up at the sky with glowing tendrils their light went. Evilly snaring the creatures who dared get too close to the prey who carried it. 

Then once the light had scared many far from their prey, new creatures were born in the darkness the flames left behind. Feeding on those who went out with or without out the defense of harnessable light. The beings once again rose to power over the prey. 

Folk tales and legends were told by the prey about these creatures. Demons, monsters, they finally settled on Aklin. They sought for methods to get rid of them, religion, technology, Science, all promised safety. Yet they forgot their only weakness. Impermeable to all but the rays that brought life. No one believed the older generation anymore. Their methods to get rid of Aklin thought of as foolish. How could light hurt what never was injured. How could something always there hurt these monstrosities?

Physical appearance:
The click of soils heels gave notice of her approach farther than her shadow could have ever had hoped. Confident aires flauntingly in every stride. She was stunning to say the lest. Thick and wavy Auburn hair curled up towards her face. Framing it in such a way that it kept her gaze mysterious yet playful. Makeup was simple yet effective. Blackened, her eyelashes siloletted her golden brown eyes. Last on her smiling face would be dripping red lips. 

She wore a strapless Red dress tonight. White pearls around her neck. The dress suited her well. Forming around her hips draping down to her lower calves. One slit ran up to her mid thigh for moveability. A leather strap led to a pistol's holder around that leg. She wore to match, black wedges that raised her height two inches and a fake fur winter jacket which hung to her calves.

In her late twenties early thirthies by looks.

"I work in the Sale and Marketing Department of the family business. I talk to the people and make sure everything works out." 

Abilities:
She has no powers but she's fascinated enough people with her luck they think she has.  

Skills:
Great in sales (Selling ice to the Inuit) , good with a pistol, generally in good shape. 

Personality:
She is open to many new experiences but also loves the stability that her family has and has kept that love for years. She is charming and believes in the finer points of life such as the arts and family. She is always doing whats best for the family even if it costs her. Though at points she needs relaxation and will stop worrying about that until she deals it a concern. She takes her time to think through things as throughly as she deems necessary, this makes her hard to trick or at least deceave without a well thoughout lie.

Biography:
(A character with a somewhat understandble background huh that's a first. )
" I was first born to a pair of greedy parents. Willing to do anything they could to get themselves high, rich, or famous. Even trading their newly born to the family for this fame. To see Papa Licasters wife Beatrice, Mama, had lost their second child due to complications from birth. Papa had switched me in as a new baby and all is fine and handy. 
My birth parents had traded me for fame and received it the only way papa could give. They died three days after my birthday. Serves them that. I grew up with my brothers George and Jackson and the baby of the family Clarrisa. 

When we got old enough to work we got into the families business and that's that. We have Flower shops, candy shops, garages and more. All part of the LiCaster name. I lead the Sales and Marketing and have for the last four years. Since Mama past on. 
That's my life till now in a flash what's yours?"

Something happening to Papa and Losing her place in the family.

Do know I have been trying to write something for days with no success. 

Its bad I know. But the guilt of not reply had been building and today I can actually think enough to write so there.

"Mind if I join ya?" The words from the girls mouth didn't disturb her as much as the fact she had gotten herself so distracted with something she didn't notice their appearance. At the woman's second question she shrugs half heartedly. 

Water sloshing about in a bowl did get her attention. The girl crawling towards the bowl and gulping down said water. Splashes of it dribbled down her soft facial features and onto the absobent cloth of her dress. 

On her pulling down and finishing of the bowl there were suddenly more people in the room. 
Her mind loosing track of the figures as she was sent back under her table. Leaving the bowl clattering again the floor till it settled.

Pearing out at all the others with grey eyes. The wans near her especially. She didn't seem right.
