Could Lucian's character be cursed? Like with both life and death? The rituals preformed to extend life and make thrulls could help explain his incorpoalness while still retaining a human body. @Lucian something like your spark is what gives you the deeper power to the after life there for you and become ghostly like taking on the form that is in the picture. Kind of like Danny phantom or ghost rider type transformation. The Spark happens during the ritual cutting the ritual short and throwing you into theros. It still explain them trying to put you in the underworld cause they still think you are dead but in truth are actually a spirit/human hybrid.

Powers: Blink travel- travel short distances with burst of aetheric energy,
Energymancy- can summon lightning and bolts of energy from his person. Can detect when storms are coming. Can control artifacts of his own design or ones that he has altered, can charge some dead artifacts when held,
Hydromancy- can control the shape of his form due to it mostly being made of water and energy. Can control water around him forming spheres of water no bigger than four feet in diameter to launch at foes. Can draw clean water from a dirty or poisoned soruce unless tainted by certain things such as phyerxian sludge. Can alter flow of small bodies of water.

Skills: Sience and engineering.

History: Victor Amesly was one if the for most guild members that worked on a project for Niz Mizzet to make the perfect weird. He and a group of others were in the labs working on what they thought was a subdued subspecies of elemental called weird that was created to be pets, familiars, and lab assistants to the wizards in the guild. During this particular day the weird broke free. The volatile nature of the weird it killed everyone in the lab except Victor Amsely. Backed against the wall Victor tried to control it with his magic. This destabilized it further. The weird came towards Victor and for the slightest moment everything was calm. The weird touched Victor's forehead and that's when it happened. The Spark. For a split second Victor felt the power of the universe and visions of the past and future followed through him, then horror crossed his face as his body dissolved and flowwed into the weird. The weird then took on a more humanoid form. The weird saw what Victor had seen and felt the power now flowing through him. "Victor I will take your name and remember you are you have given me life. These visions male no sense to me but the future have yet to come." Yells came from all around him then suddenly he felt the power again vanishing from the plane of ravnica. (Victor then travels to alara, kaladesh, mirrodin, and Theros. Each if these planes he spent two or more years developing the armor he currently wears which modulates his energies and to control his thopters that he found and took for himself in esper.

Equipment: Armor he wears of his person. And four thopters he controls and uses as scouts.

Misc: Due to the planes he has visited Victor is highly interested in artifacts and how they differ from each plane.

Magic: Re-quip weapons-

Void Fangs

These daggers cloak the user in shadow allowing them to them to become almost incorporeal. Damage can still be taken but none can be dealt in this form. While in shadow form one can use enemy shadows against them. Taking on the say power and weakness as their counterparts. Shadows disperse if one leaves shadow form. Only other ability is it allows one to travel in the shadows themselves.

Rebirth Wing

This bow gives the ability to use healing magic and fire magic. These magics can be imbued into the arrows to help or hurt others. Flight is also possible with this bow if the user sacrifices ten of the fifty arrows given in the quiver.

Guardian's Heart

This sheild gives one limited control over light magic to protect others. It can absorb most direct magic attacks storing the magical energy which can an be released as an attack.

Hellfire and Brimstone

These axes give the user control over fire and can put one into a berserk mode. One can derive friend from for but the explosive force and heat can catch some friendly “fire”.

PermaFrost and Glacier

This sword and shield give the user control of defensive and offensive ice magics. The shield in a pinch can become an ice wall blocking others from the user or others. The sword slows enemies when struck due to the ice that forms over the damaged area.

Crystal Quake

This hammer gives the user limited earth magic control. The hammer when it strikes the ground makes crystals spring up in a straight line from it. The last crystal in the line stays up and starts collecting magic energy till it explodes sending crystal shards over the battlefield. The user my also strike the ground with the bottom of the shaft and earthy crystalline armor will form over the user giving them an increased defense and protection from the crystal shards.

Tidal Wave

This trident gives the user control over water magic. Using whatever water is around the user can manipulate it in anyway as long as it's a liquid. The trident can not melt ice to make water. The trident can also manipulate people. Not in the sense of making them do things but more like push them or draw them in. This only works at a close to medium range.

Gungnir

This spear gives the user control over wind magic. One can wrap himself in wind gaining speed. One can also blow back enemy's in a wide arc. When wind wrapped one can also jump higher and almost seem to fly but must land and jump again to gain momentum.

Viper's Fury

These claws gives the user control over poison magic. Base attacks can poison an enemy though if the enemy is repeatedly struck the poison becomes more and more debilitating. User is also immune to poison

Levin

This sword gives the user control over lightning magic. With each strike of the blade it charges the blade but also shocking the enemy. Once a high charge is built up it can be released in the form of a blue bolt of lightning at a distance. As a defensive move one can touch the gem and summon a static field dispelling minor magic and shocking anyone inside the field besides the user.

Second magic: Caller Magic- Caller magic is a lot like Celestial spirit magic in that the wielder can call upon spirits for help. Only one spirit can be called on at a time however unless special circumstances occur.

History: Gideon Cromwell grew up in a large town where his family owned an estate. Though magic was used widely around it wasn't used in their household. This was due to the disappearance of Alister Cromwell. Before Gideon Cromwell was born his brother was the only child when he was playing by the woods on the estate a gardener said he saw a shimmer and suddenly Alister was gone. Two months later Gideon was born. His parents turning against magic and growing cold to their new child a man who became a servant, Arty Wexler, at the estate took care of Gideon. Over the years Gideon learned his lessons and studies from Arty. One such thing was honor. Gideon's father was a collector of weapons and artifacts; Arty took care of those things in a place on the estate called the armory. Every evening Arty would escort young Gideon out to the armory and Gideon would watch as Arty worked polishing all the gizmos and weapons. On the night of Gideon's sixteenth birthday Arty brought Gideon to the armory again but this time it was for something special. “Gideon my boy I have a gift for you. As I have no kin to speak off except you who I think of as a son I wanna give you a sword that has been passed down in my family for generations.” Arty walks over to the cabinet and pulls out a jagged sword with a gem set in the hilt. “Gideon this is Levin the thunderbolt sword. Your father let me keep it here and has tried for years to buy it off me but I knew one day I would have someone to pass it to.” The old man's eyes wrinkled in the gas lights and Gideon was stunned. They had never spoken about how the other felt. With how cold his parents were to him and busy running the estate and businesses they owned Arty was the only person who felt like a parent. Gideon didn't know what to say or do except hug the old man tightly and tell him thank you. With that he took Levin in his hands and the next moment there was a brilliant flash. Sparks of blue and good danced across the blade. Both of their eyes grew wide as a second flash happened then the blade was gone. “Gideon my boy...we have to leave. That was magic and we have to go.” It wasn't panic in his voice but rather he knew what would happen if Gideon stayed here. “We will tell your mother and father that you want to see more of the world and advance your studies. They will be wary but you can tell them that I will accompany you.” Gideon still in a little shock agreed and finally realised what he had been missing this whole time.

Personality: Due to being sheltered as a kid Gideon is still kinda naïve and hasn’t experienced a lot in life as he should have. He is a bit hot tempered but not so far that he loses his cool every time something goes wrong. He rushes in to save people whenever he can and loves to help if he can.

Team Members: Not sure yet

1. Can sing fairly well.
2. Great chess player.
3. Good at making friends.

Three Weaknesses:
1. Rushes into fights head on without thinking.
2. Bit of a hero complex
3. Afraid of snakes

Greatest Love: His weapons and honor that comes with them as well as his surrogate father

Motivation: To find new weapons to re-quipe and now to figure out his new magic he has discovered.
