Syrus' eyes fluttered open and he stared up at demigods surrounding him among them was Joanne and Isaac. A coppery taste was in his mouth as well as his hand burned. He took a deep breath and started to get up the stench of smoke mixed with mist was in the air, frowning he looked over at the others staring at him. Then at Joanne.
"I'm so sorry." He said as he saw the mark on her. His mother had down something that was forbidden. She had chosen champions of her own prophecy. Since all the Oracles were out of commission she used him as an conduit.
He turned to the rest of them as Redwood came over. "I hope someone wrote down what she said." Redwood tugged at Syrus' shirt. He looked down and frowned again as he was beckoned out of the pavilion. Following Redwood he exited but Redwood stopped and turned back to the crowd.
"Any who bare the mark please head to the Big House for a meeting after you are done eating and don't forget to give an offering to your godly parent in the fire." Redwood then trotted out and escorted Syrus to the House.
Upon arriving he sat and waited in the main room while Redwood called someone on the phone. "Yes, Miss Dare? Could you be at camp by tomorrow morning? Yes dear that would be fine. We have had a complication. No it's not about Apollo." Silence permeated the room before the next words were spoken. "Well you see...there has been a prophecy." After a few more moments Redwood hug up and came into the room.
"We will wait for the other and for Chiron to finish the rounds before talking anymore. I figured you would need to get out of there before everyone started asking a ton of questions." Syrus nodded but didn't say anything. He just sat there waiting and then watched as the stuff head on the wall yawn and meowed.
