Though Nemid controls the domain, she is not omniscient; it is difficult to catch her off guard, but distractions can potentially be effective. There was also some form of time limit as a subject of hers more or less regurgitated a portal back to Existence. I am currently unaware of the current implications of that event.

I concur. Upon entering Nemid's domain, she appeared to have full sovereignty over all aspect of the realm. However, Isaac Waternaux was able to disrupt her control briefly.

Nemid takes a male form in Existence, but in his or her domain, Nemid took the form of an apparent female. Whether that is absolute or a product of Nemid's own actions is unknown at this time.
