Jonimir stands at the average Redguard height of 6'1. He has a defined body, jawline with various tribal tattoo's on his arms, in relation to his Hammerfell roots. He's not overweight, fit is the best way to define his body. However, like most redguard males, he lacks the Redguardian muscular structure that is commonly attributed to Redguards. Hair wise he has a buzz-cut, while he keeps a trimmed and well maintained Goatee. Background:
Born in the Imperial City, Jonimir enjoyed many luxuries in his life. One of them was his library in his home. The library contained vast knowledge, knowledge that one could be lost in. Jonimir at a young age took up reading as one of his major pastimes. He read a wide selection of books, one day he was learning about the Blade’s and the roles as the emperor’s protectors, the next day he was learning about the legends of Dragons in Skyrim and the Dragonborn. With a knack for learning, he came into attention of a mage. The Mage’s name was Bascero Vonkwell. Imperial in race, he was a Journeyman for the Synod. Fascinated by Jonimir’s quick grasp on information and concepts for his age (Which was 11 at the time), Bascero began to tutor him. The tutoring was light, but it started to go more magical in nature. The role of Mana in spell casting, to even casting simple spells. Naturally, his parents caught on and began to enquire about their son’s new teacher, Bascero. At first arguments ensued and Jonimir’s early education was stopped. But Bascero was known to have a knack at the art of persuasion. After a few days, the two reluctant Redguard parents agreed and officially signed off Jonimir as a ward of the Synod.
At the age of 13, Jonimir’s formal education began. He selected to enter the school of Destruction at the age of 16. Decades and decades were spent studying and doing experiments for his studies in Destruction, at one point he was the main guy in the Synod for Destruction magic know-how. This led to him writing various of academic papers in Destruction and even a published book under the name of “Redguards and Magic?”. It looked like for Jonimir everything just fell into place. However what did occur one day was a Synod written letter by one of the Archmage’s scribes. An order that Jonimir would lead a search and rescue operation for a missing mage, his old mentor: Bascero Vonkwell.
A long formal investigation ensued, for Jonimir and a team of 12 apprentices. However, no big leads emerged over the course of a few months. Caves and forts were checked for anything, but nothing at all was found. At one point during a failed fort raid, two apprentices were killed by poison spikes. The Synod, half way through the year after doing a formal investigation into what had been done cancelled it and ruled Bascero KIA. Jonimir refused to acknowledge the death of his mentor without some sort of concrete evidence. He appealed the decision, and even threatened to launch his own investigation via his own resources, but the Synod just waved him away. However, a few days after the appeal hearing, an unmarked note arrived at the quarters of Jonimir. It was addressed to him in a cursive font telling him to meet at a fort near to the Cheydinhal and Imperial City County Border.
Jonimir ventured to the fort alone in the cover of darkness. As he approached the fort, two members in Blue Robes approached him. They took him inside to the main dining room of the fort, to encounter his old mentor and six other mages, all in dark black robes with old faces. Bascero got up and hugged Jonimir. He went on with a speech for a few moments about oppression and how the Synod are a lost cause. Before he asked Jonimir if he wanted to join the group, the Blue Blood Mages. Jonimir at first was hesitant. The Synod provided him with a lot of things. But Bascero had a generally knack at persuasion, and managed to persuade Jonimir to write and send a letter of resignation to the Synod’s and thus, he was an official member of the Blue Blood Mages.
Years were spent by Jonimir in the Blue Blood Mages. They were known as a necromantic and a daedric cult by most law enforcement groups. The Synod and the College of Whispers both placed capture on sights and a small bounty on any information on the mages, but nothing was given. At first, the group experimented on improved ways of soul trapping, quicker and efficient ways. A lot of the theories devised written on paper were aimed at improving the common societal perception of the daedric gods among society and making necromancy something that would be studied and talked in more depth in schools. Jonimir also met a lot of like-minded people in the Blue Bloods. A few mages from House Telvanni to apprentices who want something better than studying at the College of Winterhold.
As time went on, things began to take a turn for a worse. Necromancy talks were mainly on black soul gems and their power to capture human souls effectively. Daedric talks were directed to some of the darkest corners in modern history, like the Mythic Dawn uprising and even the power they had and how one could obtain that right now. A lot of the membership felt uneasy about this, but really thought it was a stump in the road. Things kept on growing bad and bad as Mannimarco, regarded in history as the King of Worms started being revered as a Icon, someone of importance. Jonimir began to discuss with some of his like-minded friends about possible approaching the 6 council members in a way to curb these talks, but none of them were willing to. However one day, everyone was invited to the hall. A few members had kidnapped a few travelers going from Cheydinhal to the Imperial City. A life experimentation ensued for the first time ensued and it was brutal. Some of the members even threw up, being weak to their stomachs. To make matter’s worse, it was to no avail and the end result of trying to capture them via soul gems wasn’t accomplished. So, during the afternoon hours of one day, Jonimir and a group of some mages approached the council. Verbal arguments ensued between the members, including Jonimir and Bascero until one of the council members lashed out and threw a fireball in the direction of one of the rebel’s among the group. An full scale war inside the fort broke out. Some passing people reported seeing bright lights, thunderbolts and even heard screaming in the fort. The battle was an intense one but the end result was one of horrific nature. The remaining members in the fort fled, aiming to go to Imperial Provinces to avoid being chased down by the Synod, as the Blue Blood Mages were all but disbanded.
A cleanup crew and investigation occurred the following week. Dead bodies were found all over, black soul gems and even daedric books and shrines in small size. The Synod were contacted and also the Vigils of Stendarr. Both groups had conducted it was a large operation, identifying various bodies. However various members that were suspected to be here weren't here as well. As more bodies were found, the Synod predicted that they had escaped. Naturally the Synod didn’t have that much reign outside of Cyrodiil, however, they ordered the Vigils of Stendarr to run a search and capture operation against these individuals, with their reach into some of the independent provinces.
By the time Jonimir got to Bruma, word slowly had past that there was a big fight in a fort in Cheydinhal, with the Gazette reporting it under local news. Jonimir knew his time was ticking by the time that notice was posted. He began to adopt a low profile and changed his name to something else. He also shaved his afro off and his beard to a goatee. Once he did that, he bought a few supplies and move on his way to Skyrim, using the northern route towards Falkreath. Keeping a low profile, not being involved in magical conversations and most of all acting like a common man.
He heard rumors of a big operation the Dragonborn himself was running in Markarth, to eliminate the Forsworn threat. What better way to make some coin, but also to lay low and let time pass.
Personality:
Jonimir is a humble and calm person, He appears to be more reserved in his thought process however he tends to keep his morals in a straight line, and will most happily by force prove that he means business. He’s a trustworthy person, and a honest person. He’s religious, but doesn’t agree with the gods completely. The Nine Divines weren't something that he paid that much attention to and always felt that Daedric gods have more of a bigger affect on issues. Money isn’t something Jonimir prides himself on, but doesn’t mind having a tidy sum of it. Politics also isn’t something that he isn’t interested in, but if it involves magic he’ll jump in right away. Knowledge is however vital, weather how small or big. He enjoys reading, and doesn’t mind buying a good book or two to read. He enjoys a good bottle of mead like anyone else, and likes a nice warm meal in his stomach.
I can't catch up with you! - Due to any lack of stamina training, and not really focusing on it, he can't run as fast or further as a normal Redguard male can.
