If 93% of conversation is nonverbal, why don't more people shut up?

The scientist glanced over at the male scientist with curly blond hair. "That's Ronald," she said, but she smiled when William became excited. "Okay, okay, I'll let you see one. But be quiet."

She brought William to a small cage and lifted on of the blankets up slightly and showed William... an empty cage.

"Oh no..." she gulped, "that's... not good..."

@Bishop
That may be leaning towards the too powerful side, but I can probably deal with it. Go ahead and make a CS and I'll look over it.
One of the scientist pulls Jesper and William aside.

"I can tell you," she glances over her shoulder. "But don't let anyone know. And don't tell the other scientist that I told you." She leans in. "They're dragons. We're breeding them and we're trying to create a very specific breed of dragon that hasn't been discovered yet, and we need to bend the laws in order to pull it off. It's not exactly... healthy for the dragons," she seems to feel a tad guilty.

"We were worried you were with he Dragon Inspection Organization, or DIO. That's why we didn't let you come down. The thing is, only two of the eight people working in this lab are properly licensed. And, given the intense care that a domesticated dragon requires, there should only be four dragons per licensed scientist and one dragon per unlicensed personnel. We have... thirty... don't tell Ronald I told you, or the DOI. Please."
*Coughs violently*
Jesper and William made their way down the staircase (assuming that Jesper takes the lead.) The growling sounds grow slightly louder as Eddie continued to fiddle with the buttons on the soda machine.

There are half a dozen scientists in the lab and they are completely focused on Emily's injury. They are actively running around, applying pressure to the wound, and fetching medicine. Emily is unconscious and laying on a wooden table on the opposite end of the lab.

In the center of the lab are several boxes of sorts, with blankets thrown over them. Although their layout is seemingly random, the boxes aren't scattered around the floor. They seem to be deliberately sorted.

Oh, another interesting things about these boxes- Whatever was under these blankets was definitely responsible for this growling noise.
New Member Alert, for when you've fallen and can't get up. Or maybe that's life alert. Darn alerts, so confusing

The door to the lab was unlocked, and Emily let herself in. Eddie seemed glad to stop the Macarena, exhausted. "I understand... just a thief..." grunted Emily through her pain.

The lab was... empty. Well, mostly empty. There was a couple tables, some folding chairs, a snack machine, a ping-pong table and a lone door. "Restricted, Lab Personnel ONLY!" Naturally, they weren't Lab Personnel, so they were doomed, unable to enter the door.

I'm kidding, of course. Emily didn't heed the warning and walked through the doorway anyways. "Help! I've been shot! I need medical attention!" she shouted down a flight of stairs present in front of her. Eddie seemed distracted, and played with the colorful buttons on the snack machine.

A few people wearing lab coats hurried to the stairs, and took Emily with them downstairs. A lean man with curly blond hair spoke to William and Jesper. "Stay here. We'll help your friend."

The door was closed, Emily was brought downstairs, and William and Jesper were alone. They stood around for maybe a minute when the noticed something... a mysterious growling sound. In fact, several mysterious growling sounds seemed to be present and coming from below them. And it wasn't like the floor had eaten some questionable Mexican food. This resembled an animal growl, perhaps bears or dogs. Of course, this was accompanied by the faint sound of the Macarena coming from outside.
"I'll be fine if I get some medical treatment. Maybe they'll have something in the lab," said Emily, as she shakily made her way towards it. "I have no idea where we are. I haven't explored much of the dungeon."

Hey, you can examine the surrounding area, if you want. You don't necessarily have to wait for @DriveEMOut
