Corvo Attano

Corvo remained quiet, thinking of what to say to Ciri while everything went on. He did wonder how Kassandra, Price, and the others were fairing, as he hadn't seen any of them here either. But just as the many adventures before, circumstantial events cut them off before Corvo could utter a response. The only thing he brought answer to was for the pair that Ciri noticed. He nodded, putting their odd nature to memory. "I recognize them, alright. They were with us in Blood Gulch, but we never really spoke."

After that, they were ushered around to meet with the person who brought them: a bald man named Lex Luthor, who clearly had an influx of funds and resources to pull around. "He reeks of the Lord Regent..." he muttered to nobody in particular.

The comparison was tightened by how easily he ripped the man's daughter away with the press of a button. The past flushed back all at once. He was in Dunwall again, watching Daud murder Jessamina and kidnap young Emily—all at the orders of then-Royal Spymaster, Hiram Burrows. He remembered what it felt like to drive a blade down Hiram's throat as well.

"Which team are you volunteering for?"

Corvo snapped out of his reminiscence by Ciri's question. He'd only now realized he was tuning out of everything. But one glance around and some eavesdropping in their little box, he got an idea of what was happening. "Tactical. I've always been more of the... silent type. But I imagine you're with the more upfront Strike?"

Corvo couldn't help but chuckle. "So you wanted an honest opinion from me?" Glancing around the scenes, the Lord Protector almost felt like a grown-up amidst children. "Maybe you're right; maybe we should let things stew out. These things sort themselves out over time."

Now to actually answer Ciri. Corvo directed his gaze at Negan. "Everyone around that man, including himself, is acting too impulsively." He turned towards Ultron as he raised his voice. "The being of metal sounds too arrogant for my liking." He looked at All Might, who courtly introduced himself to a few others. "The skinny man there in blond sounds righteous and composed. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some trick up his sleeve that'd be his reason for being dragged here." His gaze went to Duke Nukem, "That other blond man with muscle gives an air of 'more important' than he really is." Lastly, there was Doomguy. "The man in green armor... seems more energetic than one would think."

Types of people were always easy to read back in Dunwall; the only thing that's changed from his world to this conjunction was in everyone's appearance. "For what it's worth, they all seem capable of holding their own."

Bill and Ted's Outlandish Voyage

Location: Gotham City
Mood: Eager / Eager

CRASH!!!!

In an alleyway near the Gotham museum, a glass telephone booth lined red appeared. It crackled with orange electricity. The doors folded open, and one adolescent boy stumbled out. Ted glanced back at his friend with a concerned expression, watching him fruitlessly press each button. "Error," was all the automated voice had to say.

Bill shook his head, following after Ted. "The dialing thing's busted somehow!" It was odd; the antenna was fine this time around. No other signs of damage on the booth. What in the world was the cau— "Dude, where'd you get another watch?" Bill pointed at Ted's arm, curiosity quickly taking over any hint of concern.

"Another watch?" Ted raised his arm, looking at the new device from all angles. "I dunno, I thought I only had one." His eyes widened as he looked over to his friend. Ted pointed at his arm. "Dude, you have the same watch!"

"I do?" One quick glance confirmed that, indeed, he had a matching watch. It was strange, yes, and it felt tightly secure on their arm.

But they now had matching watches!

"Awesome!"

The two played air guitar, beaming.

"So, uh, where are we?"

They finally took a good look at their surroundings, outside the alleyway. It was a marvelous sight to behold; buildings towering higher than anything in San Dimas, excluding Waterloo water park. It would've looked way cooler in the morning, but who were they to complain?

"Well, it's really dark, the streets are all empty. It's most gloomy." Ted's jaw dropped. It was a most grave realization. He turned to Bill. "Dude..." They now had something to complain about. "We're in Detroit!"

The joy drained from Bill's eyes. "Detroit?! We need to get out of here!" He ran back to their red phone booth, cramming inside... only to remember: "But the phone booth's most busted!" He poked his head out. "It's lost its time-traveling juice!"

Ted warily looked around. "We're in serious bogus, now. What do we do?"

Some pondering later, and another idea struck Bill. Lit up, he rushed over to his friend. "Ted, your dad's a deputy! The police here have to know him!"

Ted clenched his fist as if they secured a victory. "You're right! But where do we find the police?"

---

"Police! Police!"

"Police! Police!"

The duo stood in the middle of the dead street, yelling their lungs out for an officer and occasionally a phone booth repairman. Little did they know just how far away their San Dimas was.

He nodded with Ciri's first statement concerning age. "Some things just stay with you for the rest of your life." He brought his Marked hand up for instance. "If there's one good thing, it's that I've reached the age where I no longer need to worry about my daughter; she takes care of herself, now." As he said this, his gaze turned to the emotional scene with Joel and Ellie. There was a time in Dunwall where he embraced a child Emily just like so. Just looking at the two reminded him of the utter relief and gratefulness he felt from rescuing her.

Then there was the... less savory side, over to where the aforementioned Cloud and Sephiroth stood their grounds at each other. "For starters, the déjà vu never wears off, no matter how many times this happens. I don't believe you were there, but what happened when we awoke on that plane to Blood Gulch is practically mirrored here." Another commotion soon erupted between the man who'd been incapacitated earlier by their captor's strange tech, and a living rat thing. And if that stepped foot in any inch of Dunwall, Corvo was sure that every guard on City Watch would cut it up out of fear of plague.

"If the formula remains consistent for our past 'summonings,' then the most we can do for now is wait. There's always a reason we're brought out." Corvo gestured to Negan, who looked more than eager to bash the rat's head in—right up until a young man hopped right in his face, spewing oh-so heroic words. With the chop at the man's trusted bat, even Corvo sensed that things weren't going to defuse any time soon. "Or we could try stopping our motley band from killing each other off the bat."

"It's been a long time, old friend."

Corvo Attano rose, clutching Piero's mask at the side. He grimaced at the pitch black eyes of the Outsider. "Any longer would have been pleasant." Just when he was finally adjusting to his normal life in Dunwall, the familiar sting struck him. In moments, he blacked out—what greeted him was the cold, empty Void.

"What can I say?" the Outsider remarked. He enjoyed this far too much; these multiversal games. "Excitement is always temporary. That couldn't be any more apparent in the Void than anywhere else." He drifted in circles around Corvo, but what he left behind him was an entirely new setting. It was the still the Void, monochrome as ever, but the drifting platforms of rock were replaced with refined walls. People appeared, frozen in time. He and several others became encased in a cage of glass, and a sole woman stood outside.

"Do you remember Cirilla, Corvo?" The Lord Protector whipped around, and there she was. The Outsider moved his hand near her face, refraining from touching it like a statue at an art museum. He remembered how he pulled her into the Void; before that, he believed the juvenile god was solely in it for Corvo.

"Cut to the chase," he snapped. "We saved everything in existence once, what else would you need us to do?"

The Outsider waltzed towards the masked man, hands tucked behind his back. He stopped shy of Corvo, smirking. The god then leaned towards him. "I have no idea." He faded into a black fog, dissipating in seconds. The monochrome world regained its color, just in time for a gruffy-looking man with a bat to collapse with a sharp scream.

Corvo assessed their new predicament, keeping Luthor's name in mind. Soon, his gaze focused on the person he trusted out of everyone else. The Lord Protector removed his mask, revealing a similar smile. His age showed on his face: more notable layers of gray over his facial hair, skin turning a certain color; but aside from that, he was same as he always was. "It's as if we're cursed to forever drift around this multiverse rat-brine," he remarked back.

Bill and Ted's Outlandish Voyage

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K."

Names: Bill Preston and Ted Logan

Age: Both 21

Gender: Both Male

Canon: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

Main Thread or Sandbox: Sandbox

Starting Location: Gotham City

Personality: Bill and Ted are two peas of the same pod. Though far from the brightest, the duo make up in unparalleled optimism, facing danger and eccentricities head on, and not to mention a special kind of thinking that let them escape Hell after dying. It is through their passion of rock that they brought global harmony in their band, the Wyld Stallyns, alongside Death himself (although the band broke up later due to creative differences). They live fully by their motto, "Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!"

Equipment:
The Phone Booth - A red modern glass phone booth in which Bill and Ted cram inside to travel through time. The booth shoots out orange sparks before being grabbed by blue lightning rods and pulled into a light in the ground and traveling. When landing, it is encased in a blue light while falling from the sky before hitting the ground with a thud. Lately, though, it seems to be malfunctioning; rather than travel through time, it now only teleports around locations no matter how the duo use it.

Twinkies, bubble gum, and canned chocolate pudding - "Prehistoric pitstop!"

Biography: Everything began with Bill and Ted trying to write a history report. Rufus, a guide from the year 2688, arrives to provide them the time machine which allows them to travel back in time and meet historical figures in order to learn about key historical events. If Bill and Ted fail to pass, their teacher will have to flunk them and Ted's father will transfer him to an Alaskan military high school, which will lead to Wyld Stallyns never forming, in turn destroying a Utopian future built around their music. After taking many historical figures with them, they barely make it to school in time to pass the history report with flying colors.

Two years later, Chuck De Nomolos, a resident of the utopia, is sick of it and sends a pair of Bill & Ted robot doubles back into the past to kill Bill and Ted and make a future based on his ideals. Bill & Ted are killed, face the Grim Reaper, and manage to beat him at several games. This gives them the opportunity to find allies to stop their robot doubles and De Nomolos before an upcoming Battle of the Bands where they must also rescue the princesses to whom they are engaged and start their musical careers. They defeat their robot doubles, forming the Wyld Stallyns with Death. However, the band has since broken up because of creative differences clashing with the Grim Reaper, and the Prophecy of a utopia is yet to be fulfilled...

  • Health Elixir - Canisters of red elixir that replenish health.
  • Mana Elixir - Canisters of blue elixir that replenish mana.

Biography: Wanted dead by the empire he swore to protect—twice—Corvo has lived through the highs of imperial status and the lows of the impoverished. After being framed for the murder of his empress, a God known only as "The Outsider" appeared before him; out of sheer interest and amusement, he granted the Lord Protector with the Mark of the Outsider and a swath of powers to boot. Since then, he has lived solely to dispatch of foes that dared to threaten his daughter and the Isles.
