Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Just posted her! Hopefully I did alright with a little bit about her. I will describe her more fully in the actual story.
Abigail Hawthorn 22 | Half Blood | Animorphmagus | Animagus Varied | Ravenclaw Ten and a quarter inch Pine wand with a unicorn hair core. Abigail is a warm and friendly person, an avid listener, and has an empathetic soul. She easily befriends strangers and works diligently to make those friendships last. She is a big believer that talking heels the unseen wounds and encourages those she interacts with two vent their frustrations on her, giving them thoughtful advice or a shoulder to cry on as needed. She is an unusual case with her test to become a Animagus, The powerful magic of her ability to change her appearance flaring as she transformed. At first, she simply appeared to be an ordinary red fox, the change complete and without any ill side effects. But as she returned to her human shape and was asked to repeat the transformation to ensure that she could reliably shift, she next changed into a rabbit. Almost as shocked as the committee that was overseeing her test, she quickly changed back into her human form, but was quickly encouraged to try another transformation. After becoming a raccoon, squirrel, and then a white tailed deer respectively, she began to understand that the change relied heavily upon what she was thinking at the time, much as her Animorphmagus abilities functioned. Up until the Dark Lord's breach into the ministry, this unusual trait was kept very secretive, Abigail's talent resourced by the government to be able to spy on the enemy forces or those Breaking the law.
Did the twins ever stop talking? Charlie Weasley cast a rueful glance over one of his broad shoulders at the identical pair trailing behind, the two keeping up a steady, if slightly lackluster , stream of banter and commentary between them, occasionally tossing a question or statement in his direction. If they kept it up for much longer, the girls they were tracking would alert to the trios presents miles before they would be able to catch sight of the runaways... which would consequently extend their pleasant little hiking trip into several more weeks Charlie really didn't mind his brothers' playful lightheartedness with which they met life, the Deatheaters, Snatchers, and, Hell, the entire world, really.. He encouraged it at every posssibility, but he did hope that they both would put a lid on it when he asked them to. Because he really, really, didn't want to spend another month trekking through the forest rough, not that he minded such a situation under normal circumstances, but he didn't want to risk running into another friendly group of snatchers. The idea of the last group they had encountered had his skin crawling and an uncomfortable tingle of pain shooting through his ear lobe where one blasted fool had managed to tear out the fang earring he normally wore and the redhead gingerly fingered the half healed wound before dropping his hand with a resigned sigh and trailing eyes the color of sunlit rootbeer up to gauge the location of the sun between the overhanging branches and then dropping them back down to search for the telltale signs of someone's passage he had been following. "Shouldn't be that much farther to go." He murmured in response to Fred's, or maybe it was George's, question. He hadn't been looking at the time to be completely sure which had actually asked the question. Straightening up from a squat he had crouched into to get a better look at a broken stem on a plant, Charlie brushed the palms of his hands briefly across the front of his pants before glancing over at the twins. "But if you two don't stop talking soon, we aren't going to be finding them until next spring." He teased with a broad grin. "you're right though," he continued on, Pointing out the broken plant and the partial impression of a passing foot. "They're heading in the direction of the river. Most likely they will be trying to find a cave or some hollow they can camp in." He observed, running his hand across his generously freckled forehead before giving a brief sigh. "keep her eyes open for anything that looks like sparks or fire. The weather has been threatening to change all day and we might be getting our first cold snap tonight." With a groan and a roll of his eyes that pretrade just exactly how he felt about that, Charlie gave his brothers another momentary smile before he readjusted the straps of his backpack and started off in the direction of the river, the sound growing louder with each step.
Oh my goodness! I love it! Thank you. Sorry that I was a little vague last night. I was actually at a Dungeons & Dragons game and I don't normally dictate in front of them, it's awkward, but being home means I can ramble to my phone as much as I want. Haha! I'll get to work on my own post and some background on my character really soon, promise. Are you okay if I just described her physical appearance in the post? I can't exactly find pictures. ;) And I love what you have shared about Emily. Especially the fact that she can change into a wolf. I love wolves!
Aw, I'm sorry that it took me so long to get back here. The password reset was having problems and I had to wipe my data off of my phone not too long ago. I use Siri on my phone and Apple has been having problems with voiceover, Which is what I use to dictate on my phone and read everything, so I haven't been able to use any of my devices anyway... Not to mention our Internet has been having major problems. So many things going wrong in such a short amount of time... So again, I'm sorry. I absolutely love your cats! Your couple technically breaks the rules about not having a mated pair, but I love the concept of your entire family. So I'm excepting you anyway. Ha ha!That is, if you're still interested. I'm up for continuing on with the story if more people show interest. I know it's been forever since I've been on, but hopefully I can get the ball rolling again

About the clan:

The cats of Dawn Clan live rather peacefully in their forested territory, even taking their name from a simile of the woods themselves which were called Sun Forest by the first cat who came here; their beloved leader StripedStar.

They're stealthy and rather amazing at ambushes. The warriors are skilled in moving from tree-top to tree top, claws always at the ready for battle. Tight-knit is a loose description of the Clan interaction, and each cat works in their own way to keep the peace among the camp and its members. From a young age, kits are taught the values of respect and manners, spanning all the way through apprentice-ship, on into becoming warriors. The skills and morals of these cats are nurtured into a secure grace that each member of the Clan possesses. From the cats in the stars who oversee every pawstep the Clan takes, to the oldest Elder inhabiting the dens, DawnClan is a unique cluster of felines that would never turn their back on each other.

True to form, no Clan or cat is perfect. The downfalls of DawnClan lie within their inability to fight well in darkness, as well as their lack of speed. They're cats made for ambushing and daylight battles, considering their territory is in a sunlit forest. Because they aren't on an open moor, the need for fast paws isn't really necessary.

Territory and Camp

The entrance into camp itself is well hidden from both the view from above and sides by a thick clump of flowering bushes. There is the mountain wall on one side of camp which contains the Elder's Den, the Apprentice's Den, and the Nursery as caves of varying sizes. Stretching out from the mountain is a shallowly sloping ridge that forms a half circle around the rest of camp. The Warrior’s Den is by the wall but is’ on the outside and it’s made up of bushes and brambles which keep the weather out but allow the sun to spot through. Two large trees are in the corner of the camp with low branches. The tree closest to the entrance is the Leader’s Tree where they sit on High Branch and announce Clan Meetings and the branch above it where the leader sleeps. The tree next to it is the Medicine Cat’s Tree. The lowest branch serves as the Injured Cat’s Hollow and the branch above it is the Medicine Cat and Apprentice’s Den. There’s also a hollow in the bottom of the tree which is the Very Sick Cat’s Hollow where cats who are too weak to climb or severely hurt go. The Dirtplace is in the far corner of the camp next to the Apprentice’s Den and the Fresh-Kill Pile is near the entrance, but not too close![break][break]Sun Forest: This is the forest that covers all the territory except the Stone Forest. There’s walking room, but lots of beautiful growth. There are many trees that make the sun hit the forest floor in a dappled pattern, earning the forest its name. It’s beautiful and SilentClan is very proud of it.[break][break]Herb Clearing: This place is located in the Northern corner of the territory and is a great place to gather all kinds of herbs. There are some trees about here and large patches of green herbs and grasses in the warmer months. There are a few twigs, logs, and branches scattered about as well. You can still find herbs here even in the colder months if you look hard.[break][break]Moss Rock Clearing: This is a clearing in the middle of the territory where there are scattered rocks that are covered with moss. When the weather is nice out, the cats that have free time like to doze off, eat, and share tongues with one another here. The sun also shines down brightly through the trees making it an even better spot.[break][break]River Grounds: This is a slightly large dip in the ground with soft sand in it and besides the Clear Mountain River. The apprentice’s come here to train with their mentors for battle practice. There are also many large trees around the dip for climbing practice.[break][break]Hidden Pool: This is a beautiful, small, clear pond on the border of the Sun Forest and the Stone Forest which some herbs grow around and where mates like to come to relax together or where friends like to discuss how they’re doing or share secrets without the other Clanmates around.[break][break]Stone Forest: This "forest" is made up of large stones piled onto each other and weathered there so they won't fall. Although stable cats still must be careful because of sharp stones and old stones falling on them. This area appears to be the result of the mountain, though it's the only spot like it in the territory.
