Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Although she had just opened her mouth to agree in the affirmative, Anise found herself closing her mouth so quickly that it made her teeth click together as she was interrupted by a new voice. Instinctively, she twisted out of her seat and hurried forward to put herself between the newcomer and the Fon Master, hand hovering inches from the doll tied to her back. She stood there for a long minute, running her dark brown eyes over the slight figure, taking in his dark green hair and the mask that concealed half of his face.

"Sync?..." She breathed in barely a whisper. Yes, she had heard of him. She had heard quite a few interesting stories about this particular God General, that was for sure. Slowly, Anise lowered her hand from where it had been hovering over Takunaga, though her muscles didn't quite relax their readiness for action, and brought out one of her brilliant smiles. "oh, of course I've heard of you! It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She chirped cheerfully, though her insides were curling with irritation at the insult he had implied a moment before. "i'm looking forward to the chance of getting to work alongside you for this mission."
The rain that had been threatening finally swept in, sheets of water washing over the forest, dripping from the leaves, collecting in puddles, and creating a pleasant pattering as it washed over the stone outside the cave. Kichiro leaned his back comfortably against Ranna's warm bulk as he took a minute to watch the drops falling from the sky, The sound of his sister's deep breathing regular and comforting. Marron had taken Ichira out running only a moment before, planning on doing some scouting for the approaching humans, hoping to gather intelligence on how long it would take them to reach the cliffs, but Ranna had volunteered to stay behind with her brother, nursing a set of bruised and partially healed ribs she had received on their last hunting trip. Kichiro had stayed behind because he didn't want to leave his sister alone, not that he would admit that to her and risk getting a taste of her teeth, but instead insisted on the excuse that he wanted to mend a hole in his second pair of pants. The leather leggings lay over his crossed legs, forgotten for the moment as he ran the fingers of one hand through the fur at Ranna's neck, enjoying the rain with her.

"I hope that father gets the chance to bite off that man's head when you attack in a few days." He murmured softly after a moment, a surge of anger washing through his system at the idea of the Lord of Iron Town and his plans to destroy the forest.

Ranna sighed beneath him, but seemed to regret the choice is she winced at the pain it sent through her chest. "Yes... If he can, it will make life so much easier." She agreed, a growl rumbling up in her throat accompanying the words.

Kichiro curled back his upper lip. "But if our plan fails, I will need your help to get inside the walls so that I can do it myself." He growled, His hand reaching for a knife he had tied at his waist. The only reason he kept the man-made object around, though it thoroughly disgusted him, was the lack of his own fangs in his body, the absence of claws.

Turning her fierce yellow gaze onto her brother, Ranna wrinkled her muzzle to expose her glittering white teeth. "I swear to aid you my brother." She vowed, growling still more loudly.

Flooded with feelings of gratitude and satisfaction, Kichiro pressed his face into the soft fur at the she wolf's neck, envisioning the satisfying bite of his steel into the skin of the man's throat who wanted to destroy his home as the rain continued to fall.
Through the thickly forested trees drifted a harmonious variety of birdsong, their small feathered bodies dappled with sunlight that filtered through the wide leaves as they hopped and fluttered from branch to branch, jewel bright eyes always searching, glittering in the sun. A lithe figure stood is still as a rock in the shadow of a maple tree, leaning back against the trunk, Following the flittering progressions of the tiny flock of birds with slanted almond shaped eyes The color of violets. She was angular and beautiful, Like a forest cat, with delicate features and the grace of a dancer even in stillness. Her body was long and tall, With the gentle curvature of muscles and femininity, covered in softly golden skin without any visual blemishes. The hair that fell from her head cascaded in loos curls to the middle of her back, loosely styled into a partial half ponytail, and was intricately woven around and through a delicate circlet of white gold and sapphires, and was a beautiful red gold in color. Her ears poked through the tresses to either side of her face and tapered into points on their tops, extending a good two inches past where humans ended. For Aelysia was not human at all, But rather one of the fair forest elves...

Time passed as she watched the lively birds, the sun crawling across the sky just out of sight beyond the canopy and with the realization of its passage responsibility could be sensed creeping down upon her, thoughts inevitably turning to her Father, her Mother, delegation parties, council meetings...As a long and silent sigh passed through her full pink lips, the fair elf maiden splayed her Long fingers against the tree, Pushing herself away from the protective shadows and turning to step deeper within the trees, leaving the trill of music behind her for now. The threads of her mind drifted as her light steps quietly carried her through the underbrush and maze of trunks, lingering on dark tidings and disturbing occurrences taking place within her own beloved forest of Faernilva.

She frowned slightly as she remembered a request of her father's that she be present at a meeting he had arranged with the Elvin King of the northern Pinewood Forests, Composing greetings and formalities in order within her mind. Lifting her dark green and tan skirts in slender hands, she carefully stepped over a half rotten log on the edge of a small clearing, Debating borrowing one of her mother's sea pearl necklaces for the occasion. She couldn't stay away from her duties for much longer, The precious handful of hours she had begged for and received only two having already trickled away into nothingness. The Princess of one of the three major Elvin cities was not allowed to take the day off when there might be a chance that her people were in danger, after all. So Princess Aelysia Lanvalin did her best not to puff out her cheeks with another sigh, reigned in any complaints she might have made while free of any listening ears, and prepared herself mentally for the upcoming discussion that was sure to take many hours yet, and pick apart the rumors that the humans were planning on starting another war.
Hey, I'd like to ask on behalf of a friend, would you consider rping over skype?

I actually don't have an account. Sorry.
Grimacing slightly with a delicate wrinkle of her nose, Vanessa grimly used a square of cloth to clean The blade of her sword, the white material coming away red in her hand. She tried not to breathe too deeply as she did so, uncomfortably aware of the hazy smoke drifting from the pile of burning corpses even as she resolutely determined not to think of such things. A distraction came easily a moment later in the appearance of a stoic looking dwarf who's beard and braided hair was just as flamingly vivid as her own. He sighed as he collapsed onto the top of the crate next to the young woman, retrieving another cloth like hers to begin cleaning his own ax blade.

"Greetings Tholonbard." Vanessa lilted amiably.

Tholonbard grunted out a soft laugh, glancing sideways at the young woman. "Evening Lassie." He rumbled in return in a deep baritone of a voice, his beard twitching with a smile. "How did yer first Battle as a captain fair?"

"Well enough." Vanessa shrugged One of her shoulders, tilting her head to one side as she examined her sword. "I don't think it helped any win a few of the novices in my group ran headlong into the corpse mountain." The memory had her sighing heavily, A small scowl puckering her fore head. This was perhaps the reason why she threw The dirty cloth with unnecessary force onto a pile of similarly discolored squares.

Tholonbard snorted his distaste and agreement. "I don't think any of us saw that one coming."

"No..." The young woman grumbled, finally getting to her feet and sheathing her sword. "I'm going to go help bury the bodies. I'll catch you later for a drink.," she waved one hand as she walked away, disappearing into the night.

Rubbing his face briskly with both of his hands, Leodin finally released the breath he had been holding in one great woosh. His eyes, angular and the palest of blues, were bright with unshed tears that he flatly refused to let fall. His young elvin features twisted with pain for one moment longer before he pulled a passive mask into place. There would be time later to grieve for the loss of his wife, Lost in the battle after being separated from his side by a mere human soldier, but he would not show that weakness in front of his companions. He was new to the Ebon Hawks, had only been counted in their numbers for three months, so they had not earned that amount of trust from the warrior yet... Pulling is long black hair back from his face, the elf quickly plaited his hair into a long braid of mourning, letting it fall across his left shoulder before collecting his bow, Quiver of arrows, and the hand and a half sword his wife had forged for him for their wedding. Gaze distant, Leodin purposefully walked away from the place he had buried Eilorin's body, moving on to the next pile of corpses to be buried, ignoring the ache of his own wounds as he stepped into place beside a redheaded woman, reaching out automatically to help her lift the body of a man who's face he did not see.

"What a mess..." He heard the woman sigh heavily.

"indeed." Leo agreed darkly, collecting the broken body of a teenaged girl. "Quite the bloody mess..."
Edited my reply.
I'll edit my post tomorrow...
Oh, I forgot to ask: are you okay with magic abilities? I didn't even think to ask before I finished my post.
Leaves crackled softly under each of Evan's heavy paws as the black wolf threaded his Way through a landscape of thick trees, keeping his vibrant blue eyes focused down on the ground a few inches in front of him, Completely absorbed in his miserable thoughts and the armor that had become his emotions after so many abandonments in such a short space of time, His shattered memories like splinters with each pulse of his heart. He hadn't always been so closed off to the world, he could feel that, But experience had left him bitter to the point where only the most persistent of companions would have been able to crack through his shell. With a huff, Evan managed to lift his head a few inches, Gazing in the direction of the gentle gurgling of a nearby Brooke, his tongue instinctively darting out of his mouth to lick at his nose, Thirst turning his steps in the direction of the water. It didn't matter that he was lost in a strange forest, that his wandering steps had carried him beyond the boundaries he was familiar with...

But then the forest seemed to figuratively explode around him, several sleek bodies darting into position to form a tight circle around him, penning Evan in and forcing him to skid to a stop. Light blue eyes momentarily widening with astonishment, the wolf couldn't quite believe what he was seeing. It was almost as if A nightmare was becoming reality, dinosaurs popping out of the ground no longer as bones, but living breathing creatures. But as one of the raptors spoke to him, a female he thought, he found that her condescending tone provoked a strong urge to curl his lip at them. He didn't, instinctively, knowing that he was sorely outnumbered, but settled on turning both of his ears back and trying not to look as if he were hoping for an opening to make a break for it. He had in his time seen stranger things then dinosaurs...

"...I was simply walking and must have stumbled across your territory by accident. I have no intention of... intruding." He finally spoke in a cold voice, unable to stop the stiffening of his hackles at the threat of the situation he was in. "As for who I am? Simply, my name is Evan."
Yes, I know. But that should be alright, right? It will certainly make it interesting. I can change to something else if you would prefer though.

Also, since I did mention that I was blind, I was wondering if it would be alright if you added a bit more punctuation to your next post. I use a reading software for all of my role-playing and it makes it difficult to understand if everything runs together. I would really appreciate it. :)
