Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Lowering his gaze as the sound of a car approached, Cinead broke into a genuine smile as he saw Anna in the driver's seat. She stopped near him and roll down the window, greeting him cheerfully and complementing his appearance. Glancing down at the dark denim and black long sleeved button up shirt he was wearing and spreading his arms slightly, he return the compliment with another smile. "thank you." He added as he got inside her car, fidgeting with one of the partially rolled up sleeves for a moment before clicking the seatbelt into place. "I was partially worried that it might be a bit too formal." He admitted, glancing over and running his eyes over what Anna had decided to wear. "you are looking lovely this evening. That particular shade of red looks good on you."he complemented generously in return
Over the following week, Cinead found himself dwelling on the initial surprise that had shot through his body as Anna had given him that first hug. He had never experienced anything quite like it before in his life. He was used to smaller forms of contact, hands touching, the brush of an arm, accidentally stepping on someone's foot... But to willingly put yourself so close to another hadn't ever really crossed his mind. Not until Anna had put her arms around him. His heart had been pounding after that, it was a wonder she hadn't stared at him.

As he waited in the campus parking lot, hands in the pockets of his dark washed jeans, Cinead found himself once again thinking about that moment as his thoughts ran over the lunches and time in class that he had spent in Anna's company, looking up at the Canvas of the sky. He rocked back onto the heels of his sneakers as he thoughtfully bit at his lower lip, his thread of thoughts turning toward the party that was happening tonight. His fondness had continued to increase the more time he had spent with Anna, He could not deny that. He was starting to wonder if he should officially declare his intentions, begin courting her in all seriousness... Perhaps tonight, he would get the chance to do so.

A vibration in his pocket drew Cin's attention to his phone and he quickly reached for it. There was only one person that he sent text messages with, so it didn't surprise him to see a message from Anna. His expression grew soft as he read the message, a familiar warmth heating his chest. My thoughts exactly. I am truly looking forward to spending time with you this evening. I will see you soon. He wrote in return, feeling a strange sort of fluttering sensation in the region of his stomach as he did so. Nervous? That was the only word he had for the feeling. He couldn't really understand why he would feel nervous about being with Anna... Giving his head a small shake, Cin returned his phone to his pocket, tilting his head back again to look up at the sky once more.
A solitary magpie winged its way through the lonely paths of the forest, raucously sounding a cry seemingly at random as it we'ved around, Under, and over the ancient branches of the Forest Giants. Once, as he came to a relatively clear area of the forest, his beady gaze fell upon an explosion of excitement, a frantic fox desperately trying to flee the hounds and The storm of hooves that pursued. But in the space of time that it took him to blink, his wings had already carried him to the other side and back into the cover of trees, The incident already becoming memories of the past.

An undetermined length of time seemed to slide by like slipstream and the single bird dipped beneath a cluster of leaves and quite suddenly found himself in The companionship of a lonely little cottage, ivy vines and clumps of roses winning in the battle to completely cover the rusty colored bricks of the ancient walls, A feisty strand almost reaching to the small chimney. He circled the little building once, feather tips brushing against the thatched roof, Before he settled on one of the windowsills, ruffling his feathers quickly before beginning to twitch and jerk his head back and forth, observing the interior of the cottage.

Only one figure stood inside the cottage, a woman Who seemed slightly startled by the sudden appearance at her window. Lifting her warm brown gaze from the flames of the fire where she stood retrieving the kettle of boiling water with the hem of her skirts wrapped around her hand, Branna's brow quirked upwards with surprise at the appearance of the magpie on her sill, feathers fluffed up as he watched her warily. Her full lips parted for a moment before she turned her mouth up into a smile that made the corners of her eyes crinkle. "nervous as ever my lad Magpie." She lilted teasingly to the bird as she carried The black kettle over to her small table in front of the fireplace, lifting it up to pour A small amount of the hot liquid into a carved wooden cup waiting for her, a small blend of tea leaves nestled in the bottom. She heard A small croak of response from the window as she moved to replace the kettle on the hook above the flames and she laughed in response, Spreading out her dress as she Took her place at the table, watching the black and white bird as she thoughtfully let her drink steep.

She was a beautiful woman, this Branna of the woods, Or those who she allowed to ever see her claimed, describing her with a long lithe body and skin that had been generously kissed by the sun, Hair The color of midnight that cascaded past her shoulders in long loose curls, a mysterious aura about her person... But she would more accurately describe herself as a woman who enjoyed the outdoors far too much and wore simple clothing so that she need not worry should her blouse catch on a thorn. Both could be accurate, but she preferred not being vain.

Lifting the cup carefully from the table to her mouth, Branna gently blew on the tendrils of steam that were lazily curling up from the surface of her drink, amusement dancing within her eyes. Testing the drink, she allowed a satisfied sigh to escape her as she discovered that it had cooled enough to not skulled her mouth, savoring the minty sweet flavor that washed over her tongue. Leaning back in her chair, she regarded her visitor with a slight tilt to her head, hair falling over her shoulder with the movement. "I have heard news of a hunting party making merry in the forest today." She mused aloud as if talking to the magpie, Though The bird didn't seem to be paying any attention to her, having started to preen his feathers back into place. Despite this, she continued to talk, Sounding reflective as her gaze drifted out of the open window. "A new Lord has taken over the estate no doubt and is showing his guests some amusement..." The cup lifted to her lips once more and she took a thoughtful sip. "perhaps he would appreciate if I were to provide him with some excitement, Would you think not?" She asked, Not expecting an answer.

A moment of quiet contemplation then saw Branna leaping lightly to her feet with a joyous tinkle of laughter, startling the magpie from her windowsill and sending him flapping into the sky, leaving behind more then one feather in his haste. "yes! I believe that I am feeling up to having some fun today." She trilled excitedly, placing her cup onto the surface of the table before she kicked off her slippers. With graceful movements, she pulled on the silk ribbon holding her dress in place around her waist, allowing it to slip from her shoulders with a few gentle tugs and stepping from the red fabric as it whispered onto the floor. Hurrying to the wooden front door, she flung it open in her excitement, rushing out into the sunlight that spilled over her little clearing. And with each step that she took, her form seemed to shrink, until at the edge of the woods, a black hare dove into the underbrush with a soft rustle.
Sent you both a private message! :D
Again, her excitement was infectious, so Cinead found himself unable to stop a laugh from escaping him as she responded to his acceptance. He was glad to give her happiness. And he found that he rather hoped he would be able to keep making her happy for quite some time. The idea made him feel warm all over, surprising him slightly. His expression softened however and he nodded his head in acknowledgment. "comfortable I can do. And I wouldn't have any idea of what to bring to a party anyway, so I'm glad it's not an obligation to do so." He admitted, honestly relieved that he wouldn't have to pick out something randomly at the store. "I don't mind meeting you here. What time?" He inquired, pulling out a notebook to make a reminder for himself. It probably looked a little silly, him not using his phone, but he still wasn't completely comfortable using the touchscreen.
Haha! I think that would be fabulous. Especially since were both excited about it. Let's do it!
Cinead listened with interest to Anna explain The customizability of pizza and found himself considering the slice in his hand with new interest. If those who created the pizzas were so relaxed, maybe he would learn to like this particular food more. "I think I would like to give a custom Pizza a try in the future." He excepted, the idea of asking them to pile on an extra layer of meat making him chuckle quietly. He would redefine what it meant to be a meat lover.

He had just taken another bite of his pizza when he heard the distinctive buzz of Anna's phone and Cin quietly found himself wondering what that must be like, getting so many text messages from so many different people. How did everyone keep names Straight? Without checking her phone however, Anna seemed to remember something and she looked excited again, if perhaps a little nervous. Curious now, Cinead gave his head a small tilt and was just about to ask her what she was thinking of when she quite suddenly talked about a party that was going on next week. And then, surprising him even more, she asked him if he wanted to go with her to said party. Parties were a part of human culture that he had yet to experience and he clearly didn't know what was to be expected at one, so the idea had him nervous... But Anna had asked him of all people to go with her and his resolve still held. Pushing aside his doubts about acting appropriate at a party, he instead lifted his lips in another brief smile. "I think I would like that very much. Where is this party supposed to be at? Do I need to bring anything?"
I am going to rearrange the order of my responses with my post. It just fits better in my head if they talk about the pizza before the party. :P Sorry. But hey, hooray! The party is going to be happening soon!

... Yet another bump. I'm still interested in having some fun stories.
Ah, Brakes are nice. Enjoy it while you have it. And I've been pretty good. Nothing too crazy has been going on.
