Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Cinead retrospectively realized that Anna had been offering him something in a paper bowl she was holding, but had been so absorbed with his irritation that he hadn't registered the question. Blinking once, he was able to listen to her second question, looking towards her face and seeing the look of concern that she adopted. He huffed quietly, giving his head a shake. "Everything is... fine. I just heard something that was irritating. Nothing to worry about." He soothed, lifting his lips in a smile just for her. Before she could pursue the matter, he quickly changed the subject. "enjoying your snack?"he asked, lifting an eyebrow at the bowl in her hands.
Well, I hope you don't mind if I actually jump in. I noticed your interest thread and as I started poking around your user profile, I noticed that you had a couple of stories with starters that hadn't gotten any attention. It's no fun to not have any attention for stories that you put effort into. So, if you would like, I'd love to progress this story together. Surprise! I already wrote a post. :3 and I reposted your introduction along with it in the IC portion
Darkness. The only emotion he could feel or see. His entire life flashing before his eyes after a single mistake, a single mistake that could cost him his life. All it took was being at the wrong place at the wrong time, witnessing something he shouldn't have, and a bullet to the chest. Bleeding out quickly all he could see was the darkness.

He fell back, unable to move, speak, anything, only hearing his attackers footsteps as he rushed off. A small puddle formed around the body as he laid there, cold, helpless, and innocent. He hadn't done a thing wrong, but he could quite possibly lose his life after one false move. Now all that he could do was watch as people screamed and ran, unable to call for help or beg someone to save him. is this how I die?... I-I don't want to die.... Please... Someone please... He thought to himself, a single tear running down his cold cheek.

The smell of gunpowder and blood lingered in the air, The latter scent heavier, more condensed. The screens and the sound of people running had been what had first drawn her attention, the smells had been what drew her forward. She stood now, on the edge of a sidewalk on an empty Street, hesitating on the balls of her feet is she stared at a fallen figure on the other side of the road, dark grey blue eyes wary.

Cassidy Thomas was a woman of average height and build, with striking shark features that gave her an elegant face. Her hair, a midnight black in color, was cut into a stylish a-line that framed her narrow face and brought out the color in her eyes, Even in the darkness of early evening. She briefly ran her hands through her hair now, debating her decision as she watched the man bleed out and die only feet from her. The greater part of her being was telling her to run, to leave the stranger to his death... But her natural instincts were screaming at her to save him. For Cassidy was a healer at heart, a former doctor, And every nerve in her body was screaming at her to save the dying man.

Finally, with a soft snarl, The young woman hurried across the street, crouching down next to the stranger, ignoring the pool of blood beneath her sneakers as she pressed her fingers instinctively into his throat. Her grey eyes flickered quickly over his body once, Making a silent note of the wound in his chest before she carefully scooped The stranger into her arms with surprising strength, cradling him close as she began to run in the direction of her apartment.

"don't worry. I've got you. I won't let you die." She whispered, each sentence corresponding with a beat of a foot hitting the pavement. '... That is, if I don't kill you trying to change you.' She added silently to herself, a brief grimace flickering across her face.
Wonderful! No, of course you didn't scare me off. Just got down and couldn't bring myself to do any writing... Sorry I didn't give you any warning. I'll try to do so if I have episodes in the future.

I do remember everything. We were just about to get to the good part where my character gets to reveal his scaly secret. :)
Carefully, so as not to drop any of the bottles, Cinead rearranged what was left of the soda in his arms so that he could except the extended hand and give it a brief shake. "it is nice to make your acquaintance." He murmured politely. As Anna moved off to set down her contribution to the snack selection, Cin had just turned to follow after her when the man he had just been introduced to stopped him, a serious expression on his face.

"... So you're Anna's boyfriend? Don't you dare hurt her, or I'll hurt you." The man threatened, causing Cinead to instinctively stiffen, A bubble of a growl catching in his throat before he could release it. Instead, the dragon shape shifter turned a glower on Rex, Fighting back the urge to curl his lips back from his teeth.

"I would never dream of causing any degree of pain to Anna. And I would happily tear anyone to shreds who would do such a thing." He rumbled in his deep voice before resolutely turning away from the man and marching over to the table where Anna had set down her chips and soda bottle. Part of him quietly wondered why he hadn't corrected the mistaken information of his being Anna's boyfriend, but the greater part of his mind was still irritated that anyone would think he was capable of causing her pain. He hadn't been worried about receiving pain himself, he doubted any human could cause much more then minor scratches if even that, but he was troubled that the stranger would make the assumption that Cin would be eventually planning on hurting Anna... Had she been hurt by someone before? The very idea had a small growl Breaking passed his control and he set down his bottles with perhaps a little more force than needed, one of the sodas falling over onto its side.
... I'm alive. I promise. And I definitely still have interest in writing. I just have been so distracted with other things and really feeling a lack of inspiration. If you're still interested, I'd love to try to pick up the pieces of our story.
Cinead couldn't help but laugh right along with Anna, though his were much more muted and brief in comparison. He did, however, eventually relent. Lowering the bottles of soda and separating out one of them to offer to his companion. "fine. But don't blame me if you end up crushing the chips." He warned with a grin.

By this point, the sound of the music had grown much louder, beginning to send out small vibrations through the ground. A few people were milling about out here on the fringes, sorting through what looked to be a few boxes of snacks and drinks, one person even going through a collection of CDs. One of them called out a greeting to Anna when they spotted her, casting a curious and somewhat intimidated look at Cinead, Which the tall man ignored. He was used to such looks by this point, it didn't bother him in the slightest. The fact that it was a man greeting Anna did however. He Felt another stirring of jealousy, but quickly suppressed it. It wasn't as if this man had blatantly flirted with Anna, even with him standing there. Unlike the man at the pizza restaurant...
William leaned forward in his seat as the carriage approached the manor's hedge, gazing out of the window he had opened only minutes into the ride. He longed to see the beautiful countryside as they rode, something he was guessing Mr. Lockwood did not appreciate very much, if the mildly stifled look of displeasure was anything to go by. But William had of course ignored the negativity, soaking in the sights even as he asked further in-depth questions about his new estate. But now, with the manor so close at hand, the young Lord's attention was completely diverted. He was pleased to see the hedge looking so neat and tidy, the front wrought iron gates open wide to admit passage. The dark gray building he could spy looming up from the ground beyond momentarily made his heart clench with remembrance and loss, before William pushed those emotions aside and simply soaked in the grandeur and beauty of the place, Stark against the green backdrop. He still couldn't quite comprehend that the estate was his now. He expected his aunt or uncle to step out at any moment, waving to him in welcome

"The gardeners did exceptionally well. The gardens look even better than I remember them looking." William finally commented as the carriage passed through the hedge, dark green gaze sweeping over the brightly colored clusters of blossoms, the freshly planted trees and bushes, and the artfully arranged benches. "I'll need to remember to tell them such." He continued, pleased that the lawn was groomed and healthy, the walls free of creeping vines.

"yes, my Lord." Was Thomas's dry response. William was silently grateful the man was not going to be staying much longer at the estate. He preferred the company of those with better humor.

With the jingling of chains and a few snorts and nickers from the horses, the carriage rolled to a stop in front of the Arrington manor, The footman leaping down and opening the door to admit his Lord to exit. William gave a small nod before stepping out of the carriage, walking forward several steps to get a better look at the gardens, Placing his hands comfortably behind his back as he smiled softly at the welcoming scenery, nodding his head but keeping his comments to himself this time. He heard the men behind him working to release his belongings, working together to bring them inside while others worked on releasing the horses and taking the carriage to a building near the stables. He Took a deep breath through his nose, enjoying the mingled perfume of the flowers and freshly broken earth, Happy to have finally arrived.

"... Shall we go over the paperwork in your study, my Lord?" Thomas's voice suddenly broke into his thoughts, The balding gentleman stepping up beside William with only a cursory glance over the flora.

The smile fading from his mouth, blinking a few times as he was brought back from where his thoughts had drifted to the past, the young Lord Arrington glance towards his companion with a contemplative expression. "yes... Let us retire to the study. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to go over those documents. I'll have some chilled juice brought to us there." He stated, taking one last moment to look out over the gardens before turning with Mr. Lockwood and heading up the front steps, and disappearing inside.
"... Something I'm definitely coming to understand." Rain noted as she glanced in the direction of Pinkie, The pink mare bouncing excitedly around a slightly uncomfortable looking yellow Pegasus with a very long tail and mane that were a beautiful shade of rosey pink. But Wincent Drew her attention away even as she started to smile, catching her off guard with the deadly serious expression on his face. She stiffened at his words of great danger, Blinking twice quickly, before abruptly narrowing her eyes with suspicion. It was almost as if he was playing up dangerous situations occurring and the fact that even ordinary ponies had to step up at times... But then she released a sharp sigh through her nose, abruptly feeling ten times more tired than she had a moment before. "If you say so." She mumbled softly, concentrating on taking another drink as she worked the annoyed expression from her face. Where had her patient suddenly gone?

Nodding to Tim in farewell as he hurried off, Rainy Day found herself shuffling her wings in a slightly agitated way, her tail giving a few swishes. She was finding herself suddenly with pent up emotions, exhausted from the long day, and rather hungry to top it off. Picking up a nearby cupcake on the snack table, she took a big bite of the sweet confection, immediately enjoying the sugary flavor. Absently, she noted the raindrop shaped sprinkles on top and how the entire thing looked like a raincloud before she focused more on enjoying the flavor than what it looked like. She couldn't deny that Pinkie had quite the eye for details when it came to things involving parties. She made a mental note to remember to thank the mare later.

Feeling slightly better with some food in her belly, Rain's bright blue eyes finally settled once again on Vince, Considering his offer to answer any questions she might have. Tilting her head thoughtfully, she considered. It was probably better that she didn't bring up anything relating to pranks or jokes. Her nerves couldn't handle it. So she diverted to a question she had had earlier. "Who were you staring at before?" She asked teasingly. He hadn't specifically said that she should ask him questions about the town, even if that had been implied. She grinned at the stallion before taking another bite of cupcake.
He is feeling better. Which is good. Now I just need to catch up on everything...
