Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

A Warrior Cats adventure between Elven and myself~

About Dawn Clan:

The cats of Dawn Clan live rather peacefully in their forested territory, even taking their name from a simile of the woods themselves which were called Sun Forest by the first cat who came here; their beloved leader StripedStar.

They're stealthy and rather amazing at ambushes. The warriors are skilled in moving from tree-top to tree top, claws always at the ready for battle. Tight-knit is a loose description of the Clan interaction, and each cat works in their own way to keep the peace among the camp and its members. From a young age, kits are taught the values of respect and manners, spanning all the way through apprentice-ship, on into becoming warriors. The skills and morals of these cats are nurtured into a secure grace that each member of the Clan possesses. From the cats in the stars who oversee every pawstep the Clan takes, to the oldest Elder inhabiting the dens, DawnClan is a unique cluster of felines that would never turn their back on each other.

True to form, no Clan or cat is perfect. The downfalls of DawnClan lie within their inability to fight well in darkness, as well as their lack of speed. They're cats made for ambushing and daylight battles, considering their territory is in a sunlit forest. Because they aren't on an open moor, the need for fast paws isn't really necessary.

Territory and Camp

The entrance into camp itself is well hidden from both the view from above and sides by a thick clump of flowering bushes. There is the mountain wall on one side of camp which contains the Elder's Den, the Apprentice's Den, and the Nursery as caves of varying sizes. Stretching out from the mountain is a shallowly sloping ridge that forms a half circle around the rest of camp. The Warrior’s Den is by the wall but is’ on the outside and it’s made up of bushes and brambles which keep the weather out but allow the sun to spot through. Two large trees are in the corner of the camp with low branches. The tree closest to the entrance is the Leader’s Tree where they sit on High Branch and announce Clan Meetings and the branch above it where the leader sleeps. The tree next to it is the Medicine Cat’s Tree. The lowest branch serves as the Injured Cat’s Hollow and the branch above it is the Medicine Cat and Apprentice’s Den. There’s also a hollow in the bottom of the tree which is the Very Sick Cat’s Hollow where cats who are too weak to climb or severely hurt go. The Dirtplace is in the far corner of the camp next to the Apprentice’s Den and the Fresh-Kill Pile is near the entrance, but not too close!

Sun Forest: This is the forest that covers all the territory except the Stone Forest. There’s walking room, but lots of beautiful growth. There are many trees that make the sun hit the forest floor in a dappled pattern, earning the forest its name. It’s beautiful and SilentClan is very proud of it.

Herb Clearing: This place is located in the Northern corner of the territory and is a great place to gather all kinds of herbs. There are some trees about here and large patches of green herbs and grasses in the warmer months. There are a few twigs, logs, and branches scattered about as well. You can still find herbs here even in the colder months if you look hard.

Moss Rock Clearing: This is a clearing in the middle of the territory where there are scattered rocks that are covered with moss. When the weather is nice out, the cats that have free time like to doze off, eat, and share tongues with one another here. The sun also shines down brightly through the trees making it an even better spot.

River Grounds: This is a slightly large dip in the ground with soft sand in it and besides the Clear Mountain River. The apprentice’s come here to train with their mentors for battle practice. There are also many large trees around the dip for climbing practice.

Hidden Pool: This is a beautiful, small, clear pond on the border of the Sun Forest and the Stone Forest which some herbs grow around and where mates like to come to relax together or where friends like to discuss how they’re doing or share secrets without the other Clanmates around.

Stone Forest: This "forest" is made up of large stones piled onto each other and weathered there so they won't fall. Although stable cats still must be careful because of sharp stones and old stones falling on them. This area appears to be the result of the mountain, though it's the only spot like it in the territory.

Brief history of the founding of the clan:

The first leader of Dawn Clan, Stripedstar, comes from a former clan known as Thunder Clan, but was captured one greenleaf when he wandered too close to a twoleg trap. His mate, Featherflight, desperately leapt to his aid only to be captured by one of the twoleggers, who managed to capture her using some sort of cobbweb attached to a long stick. As the cats were then placed into a monster and taken to a thunder path, He began to fear that they would never see home again. But by the time that they arrived at a group of twoleg dens and a transfer was being made for both of the cats, an opportunity arose destined by Starkland that helped both cats escape. Unfortunately, they had traveled far beyond their old territory and had not The slightest inkling of which direction they needed to go. After nearly a half moon of travel and a grim acceptance that they would never see their old home or clan again, they searched for a new home among the mountains and forests. Together, they discovered what would come to be called the Sun Forest and set about to build a clan of their own. Convincing rogues, loaners, and even some kittypets to join together, Stripedheart became Stripedstar with a blessing from Starclan and Dawnclan was born.
Quietly, Aeylisia let her anger simmer beneath the surface, frowning into the utter darkness the shelter of her arms provided for her face, taking yet another deep breath in The hope that she would be able to calm her irritation. Her mother had always chided her on having quite the temper, Something she had inherited from her father alongside stubbornness worthy of a wild ass. As she breathed, she tried contemplating thoughts other than the destruction of her forest and the faults of the human race, focusing on something that Shade had said that she had not quite understood.

Sarcasm.

The word was alien to her, something that the elf had never heard before. It didn't belong to any of the vocabulary she had learned from her parents, nor any of the stories she had read or heard over the years. To her, the word was hollow, meaningless. She wondered if she dared ask for an explanation...

Before she could consider the matter much longer, Shade was wrapping her leg in a proper bandage and advising her not to attempt walking. Skipping over the waspish response that she had no intention of walking that night that was her first reaction, Aeylisia carefully maneuvered herself into an upright position, sitting back against her tree once more, avoiding jostling her freshly bandaged leg. She studied the white cloth for several seconds before she glanced up at Shade's back. She resisted the instinctive reaction to look away when the young man glanced in her direction, keeping her violet eyes focused on him as he explained his intention of securing the corpse of the manticore. She nodded her head once before her eyebrows drew together with a look of annoyance as he continued his statement with a question. "I can start a fire just fine by myself." She snapped, finally looking away with a soft snort. Almost in the same motion, the elf began collecting nearby stones and sticks, piling the wood together in one spot and beginning to create a ring with the stones. After several seconds of angry silence, purposefully hitting rocks against one another and snapping a few sticks, Aeylisia slowed to a stop and finally whispered in a soft voice, "Thank you for helping with my leg." She cast one quick look from beneath her eyelashes up at the human before she returned to her task, crawling forward on hands and knees to reach A few scattered branches and purposefully turning her back on Shade.
Cinead had absolutely no problem in picking out Anna's words as she shouted to him, despite the shattering music. This close to her, she could have whispered and he still would have understood. But that was one fact that he wasn't planning on giving away anytime soon. He thought over her request as he silently mused to himself before he gave his head a nervous bob. He then proceeded to perform an awkward sort of shuffling step, tapping his feet in time with the music and giving a counter sway to his upper body and arms, his head bouncing along with the beat. It was just as embarrassing as he thought it might be. He wondered silently if he looked as foolish as the freshman students that he had seen the first day he had met Anna, bouncing around like crazy during the lunch hour. He hoped that it was dark enough that the shorter woman couldn't see the unexpected color that flooded to his cheeks...
~Bump!~

Currently craving MLP.
Slightly interested in trying something post apocalyptic survival... Yep. :3
"I wasn't accusing you of naming the chips." Cinead teased lightly, Releasing a soft laugh. Brushing his hands free of crumbs, he had just reached for the full bowl of Doritos when Anna's face quite abruptly lit up, An expression of joy crossing her face. She set aside the bowl and grabbed his hand, exclaiming her love of the current song and urging him to dance with her, pulling him out into a throng of people already dancing. Immediately, Cin Felt flustered, unsure of what to do. He glanced around at some of the other couples, hoping to get a few hints, before looking down to his companion for help. "of course I'll dance with you... How would I go about doing so?"he asked, the vibration of music in his bones making it hard to think clearly.
Still craving Legend of Zelda and My Little Pony. :)
Cinead couldn't help but snort softly at the name. "Doritos? What a strange name." He mused, Glancing back down at the remainder of the chips in his hand. He chose another of the traditional chips, this one more of an oval shape with a crinkled texture. Popping it into his mouth with a little less hesitation, he was never the less disappointed. This chip was rather bland in comparison to the first. This one seemed to have more of a potato flavoring to it, which meant it reminded him more of the tuber itself, something he ranked closely with vegetables. Shrugging his shoulders, he finally tried one of the twisted pretzels, Enjoying it a little more then the potato chip, but not by much. "... Thank you for getting me some more of the Doritos." Cin thanked Anna, feeling slightly sheepish that he hadn't given his gratitude to her sooner. "and thank you for inviting me to come with you tonight. I'm looking forward to learning how to dance together."
And then Shade's observation and chiding tone flared Aeylisia's temper once more, her Tenuis grip on calm slipping. She glared down at the forest floor inches away from her face, resisting a secondary temptation to whirl on the human.

"and you think it would have been better for my father to have allowed himself and my mother to be slaughtered in the guise of etiquette, Waiting to receive names and birthplaces of the men wielding axes?" She asked heatedly, tensing her muscles despite her resolve not to attack. "that may have been proper etiquette in a proper battle scenario, but I bet if you had someone rushing at you ready to cleave your head from your shoulders, you'd be asking no such questions," she growled, clenching her hands into even tighter fists.

A small part of Aeylisia's mind had taken a step away from the situation, despite her temper, and was looking back on her memories of her brief time in the clearing. She pushed through the uncomfortable recollection of the smoke clogging her throat, the blaze of the fire, the worry in her mother's eyes, and tried to focus on what she could recall of the bodies of the humans that had Lane crumpled on the forest floor. She took a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, and then released it in an explosive huff. "... They wore plane garb. No insignias, no armor." The elf finally said in a clipped tone, closing her eyes against the headache that pounded in her temples.
Cinead's hazel gaze once again dropped to the bowl in Anna's hands, warily eyeing The mixture of chips and pretzels. Well, he had tried pizza of all things for her, why not this as well? "of course I'll try some."he agreed, putting emphasis on the word try. Nothing said that he was going to find the crunchy food delicious, like she did. Reaching out, Cin selected a few of the different chips and a couple of the pretzels, planning on trying them one at a time. He started with the least appealing, a triangular shaped chip that was orange in color and smelled strange to his nose. Figuring that it was better to get it over with quickly, he put the entire chip in his mouth at once and bit down into it. To his great astonishment, he really liked it. "Mmm. What was that? It's really good!"he asked, automatically scanning the table for more of the orange chips.
