Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

"on the contrary." Cinead retorted, once again tracing circles with his thumb on the back of her hand. "I find it very difficult to read you. Although," he mused, "that is getting easier..." He admitted, carefully watching her face as he spoke. "And I ask because I still don't know. I'm finding it difficult to understand how... how it is that you are excepting this situation so... calmly. You've just discovered that the man you have been spending your time with isn't really human. And then that same dragon claimed you as his mate..." The corners of his mouth turned down at this point, eyebrows pulling together in the middle, giving him a rather troubled expression.

Honestly, I have no room to complain. I took several months on my last post! Ha ha! But really, take your time. Especially since life has been crazy. Write when you feel like it. :)
David Hawthorn

Age: 23, July 16th

Gender: Male

Appearance: being more on the short and stocky side of builds, David ends up standing at about 5'8", give or take a few centimeters. He has broad shoulders, a square jaw, and evident muscles from keeping his body in shape. He keeps his hair in a relatively short cut, though it still tends to stick up in a cal-lick in the front, and is a medium sandy brown in color streaked in a few places by a lighter almost blonde. Below somewhat thick eyebrows, his eyes are a more rounded shape with light blue irises shot through with a handful of light golden brown spots. He has full lips for a man, a long nose, and broad calloused hands. When he smiles, A dimple pops out in his right cheek.

David's wardrobe tends to lean more towards comfort and ease rather than fashion. He highly favors A simple pair of jeans or khakis paired with solid colored cotton T-shirts. These Will usually be one of three colors: black, dark blue, or his favorite shade of teal. A sturdy pair of hiking boots, a wide dark leather bracelet tooled with fern leaves around his left wrist, and a well loved canvas backpack complete his ensemble.

Personality: Normally, he is a fairly happy go lucky person, willing to take life as it happens. But he has a downside of having a short temper and a stubborn streak as long as a mile. He gets pretty obsessive when he has a project or goal he is working towards and doesn't know when to say no, Even when faced with impossible odds. He has a tendency to be a bit sarcastic at times and loves having something to joke about. This usually has the tendency for him to be slow to take things seriously, but becomes almost obsessively stern and to the point when the seriousness is realized.

Bio: The only Child of Clyde and Akiko Hawthorn, David grew up with his parents trying to walk a fine line between spoiling him rotten and giving him a good work ethic. As a result, he was given almost anything he asked for, but was required to earn it's keep. His father being an engineer and his mother a Pokémon breeder, he learned quickly to both love and appreciate technology and Pokémon alike.

David was born in the region of Sinnoh and lived a relatively comfortable life in the heart of Jubilife City, Though he wasn't old enough to appreciate it at the time. With his father being one of the top scientists in the Pokétch Company, he was exposed to the latest technology on a frequent basis. His father often tested ideas and gadgets with David, explaining how they worked and what the purpose was supposed to be. On the other hand, he often was privileged to accompany his mother to work as well, Becoming intimately familiar with rare Pokémon and what did or didn't qualify as good qualities to have in a variety of species. Consequently, this started a fire in David at a young age, fueling a dream of becoming a Pokémon trainer as soon as possible.

His parents had other plans. They were both very protective of their child, his mother more so than his father, To the point where she was most likely a bit too overprotective. She strongly disagreed with the culture of Sinnoh that encouraged children as young as ten to submit an application to become a trainer and easily convinced her husband to except a job opening offered to him in the region of Kanto. So shortly after David's fifth birthday, The small family moved to their new home in The sprawling metropolis city of Saffron. Barely a year had gone by before his mother discovered that the troubling trend of sending out mere children was also strong in her home region and efforts were immediately made to move from Saffron as soon as possible.

Eventually, the Hawthorns settled in the bustling central city of Edenvale, his father settling in at the Eden Corporation and his mother establishing her own daycare center and breeding services. The best part about living in the Akasia region for them: no one was allowed to become a Pokémon trainer until they were legally an adult. Fears of their son traveling out into the wilderness alone put aside for the moment, Clyde and Akiko began grooming David for a promising career as a scientist like his father.

And they probably would have succeeded too if David hadn't made a best friend out of Harper Bailey, a strong young trainer that had recently set out on her own challenge and commissioned David's mother for an Eevee... witnessing her fire and excitement about traveling around Akasia rekindled an almost forgotten flame of a similar desire within David. Gradually, but steadily, he was completely consumed by the desire to leave almost everything he knew behind and travel on his own personal Pokémon journey, overcoming trials and challenges along the way. And though his parents pleaded, begged, and even made outrageous bargains, David's stubborn streak would not allow him to give up on his remembered dream and he determinedly pushed forward and submitted an application to become a Pokémon trainer. His parents did eventually except this inevitability, even offering him one of his mother's Eevee, But David has reached a resolution about following the customs of what he considers to be his home region, traveling to Karringo, the Home of Professor Jacaranda, in order to have his very first Pokémon partner choose him.

This is a fabulously wonderful Pokémon adventure between PaperCranes and myself! ❤️

I'd love to! :D
^ The above statement still holds true. Even though it has been such a long time since I last gave this a nudge to the top. We'll see if anything becomes of it. :,
@The Elvenqueen

Computers really do hate you. You were having problems with your laptop last time we talked. Bummer. I'm sorry.

i'm glad to hear you've been good otherwise though! And take your time. I know how that can be, trying to write on a phone.
@ThatWeirdChick

Good! And oh, OK. I've been thinking about it more and I think it might be good. Do you want me to make his friend or would you want to do that? I'm fine either way.
A stronger sense of curiosity tugged on the edges of Cinead's consciousness for a moment and he briefly wondered if he was again sensing what Anna was feeling. The sensation faded by the time they made it back to the car however, overridden by what he thought might be excitement. Blinking thoughtfully, the dragon shifter quietly went around to the passenger side of the car, Anna having beaten him to opening her door first, and fluidly got inside. He buckled himself in, ignoring the scratchy sensation the seatbelt had against his skin and glanced towards his new mate , Curiosity coloring his expression. She was twisted around in her seat, backing up the car slowly. He thought she looked happy. All of a sudden, she turned her face in his direction and quite deliberately planted a kiss on the end of his nose before plopping back down into her seat and acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. He couldn't help it. He laughed.

"Oh Anna. If only I could hear your thoughts and know what is going on in your mind right now." He said musingly, reaching out and taking one of her hands in his.

Thanks hon. Really. I appreciate it.

I did manage to get something written! I'm rather surprised. Ha!

How are you, by the way? I never did ask.
