Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Excitement and happiness that was outside his own sphere of joy brushed against Cinead’s awareness and he wondered, not for the first time, if it might have something to do with the bond he shared with Anna. ...Were these her emotions? Before he could consider it much more beyond that one question, she had pulled him into another kiss. Humans had gotten it just right. No wonder he had seen couples kissing all the time. He liked the possessiveness of it, the way that he was able to simultaneously feel, smell, and taste his mate, be able to feel and know that she trusted him enough to get this close. He was going to have to work on his self control.

As they broke apart once again, Anna laughed, her breath brushing over his skin. He couldn’t help but smile in return. “ if you would like.” He responded to her suggestion, twisting around on the couch until she could get a clear shot of his back.
Sounds good to me! :D
Hmm. I am honestly OK with either. I can have Cin have her cross his mind. That seems reasonable. And he can surprise her with a text message, since he’s getting used to doing that nowadays. Ha ha! And we can time skip whenever. :)
Sweet! When do you think you’d like to introduce our new characters?
Honestly, that sounds really pretty! I’m really excited to see her in action! :D
Ooh! I love that idea! I Love the mixture of both human appearance and the idea of a dragon from the sea. Would she still have wings? Or fins?
What can I do to help?
“ i’m glad you like it.” Cinead responded to her complement of his couch, somewhat reassured. He had never actually had anyone over before, so it was nice to see that his choice in furniture was acceptable. As Anna then appeared to be surprised by his admission of coming through the balcony door, he couldn’t help but crinkle his eyes with amusement. “ I climbed the tree and jumped.” He offered with a chuckle, walking past the couch towards a hallway that obviously led to the bedrooms. Before she could respond, he had slipped out of sight and gone into the back most room, closing the door behind him.

Stepping over to the door of the bathroom, Cinead couldn’t help but release a soft sigh of weariness, exhaustion finally starting to hit home. He flipped The light switch, retrieved a washcloth, and began cleaning off the soles of his feet. When he was finally satisfied, the dragon shifter then took the time to study his reflection in the mirror, cleaning off small smudges of dirt and checking himself over for any lingering injury, doing his best to ignore the shadows that were starting to develop beneath his eyes.

It was only when he had removed his makeshift loincloth and had retrieved some fresh clothing from his closet that Cinead finally remembered to take the time to look for his own mate‘s flame. He should, after all, have one. Returning to the bathroom, he gazed at his reflection once more, twisting this way and that, trying to discover any hint of the marking. and just when he was about to give up, twisting around to try and see his back, he finally found it. At the top of the space between his shoulder blades, a burst of color formed a flame that licked over his skin, frozen in a twisting formation that left the very top of the fire arcing a thin tongue onto the nape of his neck. He stared at it for several seconds before a sudden fierce joy swept through him, Hot and somewhat possessive. He really had claimed Anna for himself. Eager to reveal his mark to his mate, Cinead hastily pulled on a pair of boxer shorts and jeans, The plain black T-shirt that he had pulled off the hanger held in a fist, and he hurried back out to the living room, his eyes glowing gold.

Without a word, Cinead leaned down, kissing Anna’s mouth fiercely. Mine, that kiss said silently. While their lips were still connected, he slowly sank onto the seat next to her, pulling her close with one arm before finally breaking away, taking her hand as he turned his back towards her, placing her fingers onto his neck. “Look.” He barely managed to get out, his voice choked with strong emotion.
Interested in possibly taking on one more story. Currently I’m craving werewolves, but the story doesn’t need to have that. :)
Summer heat made itself known in the strong beams of sunlight that bathed the world below in an almost blinding radiance, cicadas creating an noisy cacophony that made the air hum. Standing resolutely with her eyes turned down, the sun baking the back of her neck and head, Moku Sohma stared at the toes of her sneakers as if they were the most fascinating things in the world. She focused on breathing in the baking air through her nose, the heat on her skin, the song of the cicadas, and tried to ignore the hand on her upper arm that held her in place.

The hand tightened momentarily, as if the owner sensed The thoughts of the teenager, a fluttering sort of sigh escaping turned down lips. Moku’s own mouth frowned, her eyebrows drawing together as she tried not to look at her mother. She didn’t want to see the guilt and sorrow that would surely be in the woman‘s eyes...

“...Are they going to be much longer?” Her mother asked in a soft voice, turning to look over her daughter‘s head.

“Not much longer now. She told me noon. Patience.”” A soft voice replied and Moku couldn’t help the involuntary tightness that gripped her shoulders at her father’s tone. He only spoke softly when he was really angry. And at that moment, she couldn’t tell if he was angry at her or someone else.

“I hope that she comes before Akito finds out.” Her mother fretted, her father hushing her sharply before she could say more.

Before she could stop it, a brief grimace flickered across Moku’s face at the mention of that name, sudden goosebumps breaking out across her arms despite the scorching heat. Yes, she wanted to be as far from here when Akito found out that her parents were sending her off to live with her distant cousin for a while. Her parents had chosen the time for her escape very carefully. Akito was probably still in the process of dishing out punishments...

Fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel, Nami Sohma carefully maneuvered through the traffic, squinting through her sunglasses as she checked her blind spot over her shoulder. Flipping on her turn signal, she carefully eased over into the next lane. It wasn’t that there were any particularly bad drivers on the road, she was just feeling agitated, and nervous. Part of that had to do with where she was going and who she was picking up.

“ if you keep tapping like that, you’re going to drive me crazy.”

Nami glanced briefly at the passenger in the car, frowning a little, but stopped tapping her fingers at once. “ it would probably do you some good.” She teased, deciding to use humor rather than snark.

At first glance, an outsider probably wouldn’t be able to guess that the two passengers were related, cousins as a matter of fact. The woman was in her mid-20s, tall and lean, with shoulder length auburn hair and heterochromatic eyes, the left chocolate brown while the right was a pale blue. Her companion, on the other hand, was 16, and was average in height, slender in build, and appeared rather dainty despite being male. Light grey hair that looked almost silver in the sunlight, matching grey eyes, and a beautiful face made him rather striking in appearance.

“You think so? I didn’t expect you to say such a thing. Although, I’m sure that would help you out in the long run, wouldn’t it.”

Nami rolled her eyes in response. “Careful Yuki, i’m tempted to start tapping my fingers again.”

The two shared a brief laugh before once again lapsing into silence, each returning to their own worries. And although he tried to stop it, Yuki found both of his hands had curled up into fists tight enough to make his knuckles turn white by the time Nami polled to a stop in front of the entrance to the Sohma estate. He glanced out of the windshield towards the three people waiting for them, briefly lingering on the woman with her dark brown hair pulled into a bun, the man with his black hair cut severely short, and the teenager in the middle of both of them, the latter’s Orange red hair spilling down around her face as she kept her head bent low. Her unusual hair color was enough to mark her for what she was: a member of the zodiac, just like he was, just like Nami. For a moment, the girl lifted her head and Yuki stared into startlingly green eyes before she lowered her gaze once more.

Yuki slid out of the car after a moment, stepping up behind Nami, instantly hot in his fitted button up shirt and khaki pants. She started to say something, but he watched as the father waved his hands in dismissal. The small flinch that went through the other teenager didn’t go unnoticed and he frowned.

“ there’s no time. Thank you. Please just take her and go.” The man said quickly, provoking a soft sigh from Nami that neither parent probably heard.

“ goodbye sweetie. I’ll miss you.” The woman with the bun whispered fervently to her daughter, giving her a tight hug that the girl did not return. “... I love you.”

For a moment, the girl stood resolutely frozen, eyes still on her sneakers. Then she quickly used one hand to squeeze one of her mother‘s arms before breaking away from the hold and sliding into the backseat of the car. Once there, she turned her face away from her parents, her hands going into her lap where they folded together.

“ i’ll keep you updated on her progress.” Nami reassured softly, picking up one of the suitcases resting on the sidewalk. Yuki retrieved the second suitcase and together they placed both into the trunk of the car before returning to their seats, Nami starting the car and making a careful U-turn, driving back to her own home.

Unseen by either of them, a single tear managed to roll down Moku’s cheek before she furiously wiped it away.
