Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:
I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.
I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.
My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.
I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.
I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.
If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.
Aneira, at last, accepted the offered bowl, uncurling her fingers to do so.”wise words to live by.” She responded with a gentle smile, hesitating for a moment before she took a bite, using a spoon to scoop some of the porridge into her mouth. To her great surprise, she found that she loved the flavor. “ thank you. It’s delicious.”
By her side Tannith was trying not to pay attention to the suspicious looks that kept turning in his direction, though he shifted uncomfortably once or twice. Instead, he focused on leaning in to try some of the offered food as well. For him, the sticky porridge only seemed to get caught in his throat. The adrenaline of their escape had finally worn off and an overwhelming grief was beginning to settle in. Despite this, he tried to follow Aneira’s example, sitting up straight, smiling pleasantly. But he couldn’t quite hide the sadness in his eyes.
Taking another bite of food, Aneira surreptitiously pressed one of her legs against Tannith’s, having glanced up at him and understanding what she saw as their gazes met. She too was beginning to feel grief creeping up on her, though she kept the emotion rained in and under control for the time being. She quickly looked too Anu as he took a moment to gesture at the cart behind him, speaking of offering goods to the locals. She considered the question seriously for a few moments. She wanted to get her self and Tannith far from the steadhold and any other possible attacks, but at the same time, she didn’t want to hinder any prosperous opportunities these people might have. If things had not gone the way they had this evening, she would have her self gladly excepted the merchants...
“ if you continue south from this place, there are several towns that would gladly welcome such exotic merchandise as you might offer. Those here in the north are a bit more superstitious.” She finally said, truthful in her statements. She didn’t consider herself superstitious, but those under her care had been known to balk at strange talismans or odd potions.
With a sharp twist, a hiss of pressure created by the carbonation in the soda escaped the bottle as William, or just simply Will to his friends, Gray pulled off the cap of his Coke. He took a huge gulp of the liquid before screwing the cap back into place and setting it aside. Readjusting his mouse, he then let himself get lost once again in the world of ’Rise of the Dark Ages’, his elvin warrior responding to his commands and attacking a nearby goblin that had thought to ambush him. He grinned as he dispatch the enemy easily with his two handed broadsword, then looting the body in search of some components for the armor he wanted to create later.
William’s clear blue eyes flickered over to the left side of his screen as a private message popped up and the smile managed to widen. Clicking on the text box, he quickly typed out a response.
*Hey! Took you long enough! ;) I’m definitely ready to go dungeon delving. Low level component grinding is getting boring. Meet you in the capital?*
He sent his message off, his own user name Shadowblight popping up next to the text after a second.
None of his friends in real life would really get it if he tried to explain the attraction he found with the MMO World he had gotten sucked into. They knew him best for sports, Basketball specifically, and could never imagine that he harbored a great love of all things fantasy and running around with a make-believe character to solve quests and sleigh the bad guys. And yet he did. Every opportunity he got, every ounce of free time he managed to scrape together, he logged on to the fantasy realm. That was where he had first met ScarletAngel, who’s character was that of a mage that she played very effectively, and the two had formed a connection. Now he found himself looking forward to the times they teamed up, diving into dungeons and going on long quest chains together.
... i’m just going to say that Cinead left his phone in his car which is at the campus parking lot. Because I really don’t want him racing off to where the party had been and trying to find his phone in the dark. Ha ha! XD
Rubbing his thumb across the back of her hand as they walked, Cinead glanced down to Anna as she lamented the upcoming study session. He tilted his head thoughtfully. “ would I be of any help to you? Or would I just end up being a distraction from your studies?” He queried, curious about the subject. If it had anything to do with animal anatomy or the best way to treat a rabbit, he would definitely be in the dark.
The day was turning out to be one of those baking hot, shimmers above the pavement, suck your breath away kind of days. And Haley loved it. Ever since she was a little girl, she had reveled in the heat of summer, seeming to take energy from the sun instead of wilting beneath it’s rays like most people did. Her family had called her crazy and had quickly taken to calling her the family lizard. She had taken it in stride, even going as far as purchasing little toys of lizards or finding jewelry that featured the scaly reptiles.
The sun hot on the back of her neck where her a-line haircut didn’t cover the skin, Haley Matthews was the picture of happiness as she hurried across campus, her pretty face displaying a wide grin, long strides energetic. People stared at her. A lot. But it didn’t really bother her all that much. It meant that no one was really getting in her way. In one of her hands was her cell phone, the screen displaying a map of the college campus, and periodically she would glance down to make sure she was still heading in the right direction. One that would take her to the biology building. Still a freshman, she hoped she would learn soon enough where all of her classes were and could stop relying on a map.
On the wrist of the hand that held her cell phone, a tiny silver charm of a lizard holding onto its tail with both front feet clinked quietly against the bracelet it was connected to as Haley Took one last look at the screen before pressing a button on the side to lock the device before she slid it into her back pocket, hurrying over to the biology building and heading inside. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the blast of air conditioned air that hit her in the face upon entrance, briefly rubbing the palms of her hands over her arms before loping down the hallway and into one of the biology labs. Taking a moment to glance towards the professor to make sure she had gotten the right room, the young woman then headed towards one of the long black topped tables spaced at even intervals in double rows on either side of the room, taking a seat at one of the middle tables. Shrugging out of her backpack, she dropped it to the floor next to her before unzipping the top, collecting a notebook and her biology textbook, Setting them on the table in front of her before pulling out a mechanical pencil and clicking lead into place. She took a moment to glance around the room, hoping she would recognize one or two of the faces. Unfortunately, she didn’t. But she was usually good at making friends. If the boxes and equipment the professor was arranging on his desk was anything to go by, they would be doing some sort of lab today. And if he also planned on having them work in pairs, Then chances were pretty good that she’d have an opportunity to get to know someone. She‘d just have to be patient.
Name: Haley Matthews Age: 22 Gender: Female Appearance: When it comes to height and weight, she is pretty much on the average side. Five foot six, with a classic hourglass shape to her body, complemented with a heart shaped face. Her face is modestly beautiful, with high cheekbones, a pointed chin, narrow nose, and wide almond shaped eyes. Her tanned skin is complemented by her hair, which is the color of deep mahogany, dark brown with a hint of red, and is cut in an a-line that complements her face, The longest strands just reaching the tops of her shoulders, The back kept only an inch long. Her eyes are a dark green in color, With a handful of caramel colored specs.
As each name was offered, Aneira’s grey eyes rested on the faceOf each humanoid, still somewhat unsettled. The immediate shock at seeing such strange faces on obviously human bodies still giving her hesitation. She had never heard of such beings in her life, And by the way Tannith was acting equally unnerved, she was certain that he was having similar miss givings.
Eyes finally resting on the woman with the head of a cat, Ba she reminded her self, Aneira finally relaxed her shoulders a little, though her hands remained in tight fists. Trying not to let her worry show on her face, the young woman finally stepped towards the fire, lowering herself onto a log that had been either pulled closer or been there to begin with. She heard more than saw Tannith follow quickly on her heel, taking a seat next to her on her left. She glanced quickly at him out of the corner of her eye, Long enough to gauge the stiff set of his shoulders and back, before carefully putting a smile on her face.
“Anu, Bek, Se, Ba.” Aneira repeated, inclining her head to the owner of each name as she spoke it. “ your hospitality and friendliness is greatly appreciated on this night of storms.” She went on to intone, perhaps a little stiffly, her formal training coming out strong under the strange circumstances. As if listening to her words, a gust of wind suddenly buffeted her back, tugging at her long pale hair and forcing her to pull it away from where it tangled on her face, twisting the strands together and pulling them forward over one shoulder.
