@Medjedovic So since the Arkard are clinically dead, are they able to heal? i.e If an Arkard gets a scrape on his hand, does it follow him through life? If he breaks a bone, will that bone always be broken?
Description: Tall and lithe, Shuda is a machine of muscle. He has black hair which he keeps cut short, a strong jaw, and bronze skin.
Hometown: New York, NY
Occupation: Mixed Martial Arts Trainer
Biography: Shuda grew up in a family where Martial Arts wasn't just a tradition, it was a lifestyle. His family owns a dojo which both teaches young kids and trains people for the competitive stage.
Shuda grew up as an MMA prodigy. By 17, he was the national High School Champion and geared up to go Pro. Before his pro debut however, his father fell ill and Shuda had to take over running the dojo. He's been a trainer there ever since. Although his father is better now, Shuda's never regained the motivation to go Pro.
Background: Shuda left the Kaesar Islands behind to embark on an expedition on one of the infamous Black Ships. He learned how to fight with a sword in each hand. His Arkard weapons instructor failed to see the use in a shield, "Either fight on the battlefield with a sword in each hand or hide in yer room. But don't yer try tuh hide behind a measly plank of wood on the battlefield."
Shuda stayed on the Black Ship for years. He grew to love the thrill he felt in battle, he sought it with a frightening intensity. He would throw himself into battles with a reckless abandon, not fearing for his safety, only seeking a fight. The bloodlust would fill with the single-minded pursuit of slaughtering his enemies. He whirled among them like a typhoon unleashed. His shipmates began to look at him strangely, muttering when they thought he wasn't listening "He's chaos in Arkard form. Just be glad he's on our side."
Eventually, Shuda left the Black Ships. They couldn't sate his thirst for battle. The attacks were too inconsistent, sometimes they would fight almost every day. Other times they wouldn't fight for months. He needed more. He needed a steady stream of battle after battle. So he sought the one place where he knew there would always be a chance to fight: The Imperial Military.
Shuda rose through the ranks quickly, his battle prowess and natural understanding of military tactics paving the way forward for him. He's landed himself a high-ranking position as a Commander(two ranks below a Grand Marshal). If he wanted, Shuda could direct his troops from the command tent. Alas, that's not his style. In every battle, Shuda finds the most dangerous position for his troops to be in and then throws himself on the front-lines there. He leads his men forward with both swords held high. He fights to sate his bloodlust, he fights to protect his men, he fights to remind himself that although his body is dead...he is still alive.
::ADVANTAGES::
Strength: Level 1 He's not the strongest around, but he's stronger than most Agility: Level 2 A typhoon on and off the battlefield, Shuda is quick on his feet Swordsmanship: Level 3 A lifetime of use has tempered Shuda's sword fighting skills Status: Level 2- As a high-ranking officer in the Imperial Military, Shuda enjoys a high social status which comes with all sorts of benefits: he's wealthy, well-respected, and has a host of people to order around.
::POWERS::
Enhanced Senses Level 1- [LIGHT] Shuda can enhance any of his six basic senses at will. He can enhance them all slightly at once or one a great amount when he chooses. Lightning Rod Level 1- [LIGHT] Shuda can charge any piece of metal with a small current of lightning. Most commonly he uses these on his swords and relies on the rubber in the hilt to protect him as he stabs people with the super-charged weapons. A hit near the spinal area can jumble the nervous system and mean instant death or paralysis. Charismatic Aura: Level 1- [LIGHT] Shuda can bend the light around him in such a way as to make himself seem more impressive, or perhaps make himself seem more persuasive, or perhaps make himself seem more or less just about anything else. Essentially, allows himself to change how he's perceived by others slightly. He can even make himself seem less impressive, which makes the name a bit of a misnomer. Blade Summoning: Level 1- [DARK] Able to summon any basic blade to his hands. He can't do anything too fancy. He mainly uses it to summon replicas of his favorite twin swords. From practice, he's able to do summon replicas of those specific swords to a high degree of accuracy. Healing:Level 1 [WATER] Shuda can heal small cuts and scrapes quickly if he concentrates for a few moments or he can heal larger injuries however it will take him much longer. For example, reattaching his pinky might take up to an hour. Further, if he's healing himself it's generally quicker than healing someone else.
Nomadic or sedentary: Sedentary Nomad. Moves when necessary.
Weapons (Don't go crazy): M24 Sniper Rifle, Two razor-sharp daggers with black leather grips and black blades.
Skills: Having been using them for some time, Zin is very proficient with his weapons. In addition, he can move with a high degree of stealth. When he chooses, his footfalls are silent and his motions difficult to notice. His fingers are deft from a lifetime of thieving and he's an expert pickpocket. He can pick most locks with a bobby pin and a needle.
Any unusual traits? Does it show physically?: Zin can blend in with his surroundings when moving under the cover of shadow. Even if one were to look directly at him they wouldn't notice unless they shined a light directly onto him.
Brief Personality: Quick-witted and brash, Zin has a sharp retort for just about everything. He's prone to sneaking up on people but hates it when people sneak up on him. He's rather jumpy and nervous, from a lifetime of never being safe from more than a night. He's mistrustful of everyone, and never seems to be able to put down his guard.
Background: Currently in the ruins of New York City.
Zin's parents died from the missiles. His older brother took care of him and they joined up with a thieving gang who made use of his older brother's sneaking skills. When a mission went wrong, Zin's brother used to take his anger out on him. Zin got used to being beat as a child. In fact, many members of the crew started taking their anger out on Zin. Even the ones he liked, that he thought he could trust, betrayed him by beating him. He suffered through it all, telling himself that with every hit he would only grow stronger.
Eventually, a job went wrong and Zin's brother died in it. That night, Zin got the worst beating of his life from the crewleader. The next morning, Zin ran away. He ran for what felt like forever before he stumbled upon an elderly couple. They fed him, clothed him and then used him to break into a food supply. They promised him 1/3 of the food, but then ran away with all of it. They too betrayed him. He vowed to never trust anyone again.
Zin lived on the streets by himself for the next several years. He stole clothes, food, water, weapons, pretty much everything he could to keep himself alive. His only goal was survival and his only skills were stealing. Eventually, Zin ran into another thieving crew. It had been so long since he was betrayed by the elderly couple, he decided to trust someone again. The new crew used him, betrayed him, and left him alone again.
For the last two years, Zin has been traveling alone. Resolved to never trust anyone. He acquired his weapons by scavenging and stealing.
