It was nice to see how relaxed everyone was, and she adored watching the way Cas interacted with his friends and vice versa, it was just nice after the whole kidnapping and watching them brutally hurt Caspian. It was a nice change of pace and she felt like she had enjoyed her evening even if some of the dares and truths had been quite outrageous. Smiling as Cas defended on how he could hold his liquor she held her tongue not wanting to tease him, knowing that in his state she would only find it funny watching him argue his point. Though she was pleased when Miles didn’t hold back and make his own comment before discussing how Jay would be fine at getting him home.
“Thank you.” Looking up as Jay walked in with her water, taking the cup from him happy that she had something to wash down all the drinks she had earlier and hopefully get rid of her dry mouth. “Hang on, steering wheel? I feel like this is a story I need to know another day.” Wondering just what had happened, curious on the story behind it but she could ask them for it another day. Right now, it wasn’t important.
Grinning to herself she tilted her head as Cas grumbled about his curfew and being home before midnight, “I feel like this is a real life Cinderella here, or should I say Cinderfella~” Chuckling at her own joke as she watched them haul Cas up ready to take him home, a part of her saddened by the fact she couldn’t say goodbye to Cas privately. Though she was sure they would have moments going forward, it may take a while especially with her own disappearance now, but she was hoping they could work it out. Even though deep down she had her doubts on being able to be together.
“No worries, I have a drink I should be okay. Thank you, Miles, for letting me stay.” Taking a sip of her water she waved the boys out, calling out a goodbye of her own before she settled in the chair glancing around the now empty room. Now they were gone the lively carefree spirit felt like it went with them and she was left alone with her thoughts yet again, thoughts that she knew would start to pick away at her and knock at her happiness. Sighing to herself as she downed the glass of water knowing that she would need every drop to combat any sort of headache tomorrow she bit her lip wondering what to do now.
He said to make myself comfortable wherever… but. I just. This isn’t my home; this isn’t even a spare room it’s his space. I can’t just go wherever. Finding herself grimace at not knowing on what she could really do, even though he had said it was alright she didn’t feel like it was. Placing the empty glass on the table she moved from the chair and to the sofa that was in the room, she could just sit comfortably on there and maybe even get in some rest?
