Our characters will not get along very well. The BT hate psykers, and I think I read somewhere that they actually have to basically take "Don't kill psykers" classes before working with other chapters lol.

On the subject of Matt Ward, wasn't he responsible for the newcron lore? I think he actually did pretty well there. I love the new Necron fluff.

But that's the whole thing about them; order, control and building an Empire, for which they would need these rules. I mean, how do you think ultramar has so many successful and good worlds to live in?

I actually wasn't going to mention Ward, because I acknowledge the chapter has it's strengths regardless of Wardian bullshit. I'm not saying they suck or anything, they're incredibly effective, they look cool, and if I had to live on an Imperial planet I'd definitely pick one of the many under their protection. That said, they just aren't as fun for me as many of the other chapters. They, for me, are boring in comparison to their brothers. I'm not insulting Rowboat Girlieman or his sons, relax. Just saying, they're not for me.

I'm getting a pretty anti-Blood Angels/their successors vibe here, so I did some digging, and I'm thinking Raptors. If you don't mind my asking, why the opposition to the first founding legions? They're the most well-developed, and arguably the most interesting of the astartes, minus the Ultramarines maybe. I know I don't speak for everyone, but most of my knowledge is of the founding legions, specifically the Blood Angels, just because I find them to be among the most fun. Are you perhaps trying to foster knowledge of the lesser-known chapters or something?
