Working is progressing slowly but surely. Thank you all for showing your interest and having patience! Burned out for a bit, has some redesign issues set me back, and juggling life stuff.

It shouldn't be too much longer!
I'm interested.

Glad I could catch your eye! I'll drop you a ping when the roleplay is up good and proper.

The city of Glass, built on scenic bluffs along the eastern seaboard of North America, was a self-proclaimed utopian aggregate for scientific research and progress. Northern manors and orchards rolled across the foothills of snow-peaked mountains, weaving between copses of pine and fir. Fields stretched to the west and south, dotted with farm houses and tiny nucleated communities all along the length of a gently rolling plains. Further west stretches a thick wood of hemlock and spruce, a natural border of tall, shrub-like trees. The city was a modern phenomena, built in a pristine location, with a certain kind of wonder that stood unmatched in the old world.

The skyline was once a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of twinkling light and color. Towering structures soared up towards the clouds, threaded together by aerial railways and skywalks. Residential labyrinths snaked beneath the earth, joined together by bullet-rail and entertainment areas of enormous size. Centers of science and research sprung up all over the city, working like well-oiled machines, each turned towards progress and innovation. The sheer scope of the city required millions of people just to function, and millions more to fulfill its purpose.
Progress, does not come without risk, and in the multicultural melting pot of science and technology, ethics had become a growing concern. Glass had become plagued by a morality issue. It saw outbreaks of illness, inhumane testing, immoral behavior and practices that were quickly coined as "dark science". Regulations were imposed, and ignored. The sheer amount of cover-ups and facilities being scraped overnight weren't enough to stop news from leaking out or the growing concern of the rest of the world. The United Nations Ethics Committee (UNEC) began a full investigation, but this only sparked a furious shadow war.

Glass began a shadow war against the U.N, with the help of their allies lending support behind closed doors. Seemingly overnight, the city's reputation for prestige and splendor became grimy and dark. Private militaries waged war against each other in the reclusive corners of the city as delegates held soirees and dinners. Entire families disappeared, politicians suffered accidents and random attacks, and facilities burned down overnight. The lines of who was committing what atrocity became blurred. Liabilities had to be eradicated before they fell into the wrong hands. The shadow war grew in intensity until it burst into an open confrontation.

The U.N, now fractured as nations split away, moved itself against glass. Eco-terrorists and rights activists began taking more radical approaches to enforcing their ideals. Allies rallied to the defense of the city as enemies moved blockades into position. Glass was hunkering in on itself as the impending notion of war grew more certain. Nobody foresaw the impending cataclysm.

The physical disabilities, identifiers and overview are certainly curious segments of the overall form. Everything else by comparison is relatively self explanatory. It'll be interesting to see what constitutes those segments.

Disabilities are for glaring things such as missing hands or legs; Identifiers are for obvious tells such as prosthetic hands, facial scars, back tattoos, etc; Overview will be your general "appearance" section to detail your character's looks.
Teaser of the character sheet (If you're on mobile, it may be a little whack).

Does it make you randy, Baby?

I’m interested as well, let me know when it goes live and I’ll be happy to fill out a CS.

Will do! =]
@Naril

Perhaps :D

I'm very indecisive about this one. On one end, I'm not a fan of overly dark stuff (not because I can't handle it, but because it's often poorly handled) as well as backstory being the most boring part of a character, to me. On the other end, the concept is really strong and aligns with my interests.

I'll see during the character app process.

As a note on dark stuff: My plan is not to incorporate for the sake of simply having it. Rather, the core thought behind this entire roleplay is the exploration of what it means to be "human". And, as most of us are well aware, sometimes humanity sucks—Even more so in a situation where it comes down to survival. This isn't meant to be a light-hearted romp through the wasteland, shooting bad guys and muties and bringing salvation to the people. This is meant to be a truer experience of human nature, especially when it comes to survival.

I hope to see you onboard when the int check releases. =]
