NameNezumi Hime: The Rat Cat
Literally translates to Rat Princess-also homage to the most famous thief in the edo period, Nezumi Kozo, or "rat boy"Age24
TotemCat
AppearanceTheir physicality, and any details you'd notice being around him (Smell, particular walk/voice, etc.) Don't use specific descriptors you'd need a medical chart to know (5'7, 154 lbs, AB+), or physical descriptions they hide (Full yakuza tattoos kept under clothing, scars anywhere but their face, etc.) Their outfit should be included too (This is an anime and nobody in anime changes their clothes until a timeskip, so just go with the outfit their picture has.)
PersonalityIndependant. Self Serving. Clever. Untrusting. Tough.Having been raised by whores, thieves, and drunkards it is somewhat amazing how seemingly well Hime turned out to be. Like many street kids she learned at a young age to truly trust no one because the cold truth of the world was that every smile was just hiding a knife-a knife that in Hime's mind would wind up in someones back. She just did her best to make sure it wasn't
her back.
Despite her ardent belief that all people are actually pretty horrible she learned long ago the value of social masks and thus often comes off as a rather upbeat and friendly person. Don't let this mask fool you though-she is sure to always put herself first while at the same time expertly covering any proof to the contrary.
Despite her kind face she is rather quick to throw a punch if directly insulted or caught in the act of steeling.
HistoryHailing from one of the larger Islands that make up Seung Yua to the South Hime actually has very few memories of any immediate family members. The first memories she can truly recall are stealing-stealing at such a young age that a mere piece of bright red tree fruit seemed overwhelmingly massive in her tiny little hands. Growing up as a pickpocket she eventually moved up in the criminal underworld to the esteemed position of “lookout.” Years later and a bit older she became known to the type of men that hire real criminals; her reputation being that of a rare breed of reliable individual who was brilliantly efficient with a short blade and lock picking in equal measures.
Events that took place shortly after her twenty second birthday forced her to flee from her home island of Chau Tuan along with the entirety of her homelands. Before long she'd found herself calling the foreign lands of Tsukishima home-and surprisingly she adapted rather well.
Wandering from town to town while fulfilling the age old of profession of thief the ever skilled Hime was eventually caught in what was a rather comical way.
StrengthsLockpicking: Hime is a very adept lockpick and almost always has atleast two small sets of black market lockpicks literally strapped on her somewhere with cloth.
Dirty Fighting: Quick to kick a man below the belt and always with a full pocket of sand Hime has seemingly mastered this shameful skill set.
Short Blades: Hime's main offensive weapon and the only one she is proficiently skilled with is the Kai and its various uses. She usually carries four of these deadly dagger like weapons on her person.
WeaknessesKleptomaniac: Although not a diagnosable term at the time Hime has an irresistable urge to steal anything and everything. It is an unbreakable habit that has gotten her in trouble on more than one occasion.
Iliterate: Doesn't matter what the language is-if its pen to paper poor Hime can't make heads or tails of the message. Even worse though is her refusal to admit the fact that she cannot read.
Foreign: In the lands of Tsukishima Hime stands out as a foreigner-often causing her to be looked down upon.
LikesSweets: Hime has quite the sweet tooth, ecspecially when it comes to Goritsam treats.
Money: Few things make her happier than shiny coins.
Cats: She can't help but love the fuzzy little monsters.
DislikesTraitors: Those that break a legitimate promise, ecspecially if they are apart of her rather small “circle of aquantainces”
Disrespect: As somewhat touched on earlier she is not one to take offensive comments lightly.
Children: Noisy, dirty, smelly...just a whole bunch of “not worth it” in Hime's mind.
