Gotta edit my post down and just generally look it over before posting (wrote out that they rescheduled before I saw your reply, so I gotta rewrite that)

Really sorry again guys-feel like I been a big ol slacker lately. Good news is I get laid off this Friday (seasonal work) so I will have all sortsa time on my hands! Just been real buisy trying to "wrap the season up" so to speak before I get laid off (AKA trying to soak overtime up like a sponge)

Long story short though my post is pretty mutch ready to go, save for some tweekings...but I really gotta go pass out tonight, lol

One Rainy Night in Chicago

So...I am literally fallin asleep here. Wanted to throw up a big ol chunka what I've wrote so far-not gonna like though, I really gotta reread/edit this im the mornin beffore postin before I'm sure its A-OK

WIP?! Maybe?!

Halfway through polishing off her second sixteen ounce hard rootbeer (she hated beer but could never get enough hard soda) a sudden tremor rocked the poorly maintained dirt baseball diamond Slugger found herself sitting in alone. The first tremor was quickly followed by a second....and then another. The ground shook gently enough that Slugger felt rather confident that she was ok-whatever was making these manmade tremors was a safe distance from her.

Atleast for now.

Standing up to her fully less than intimidating size Slugger began to beat away at the brown dirt clinging at her red pinstriped uniform-an act honestly done more out of habit than care fore her clothing. Prioritizing she first gathered up all her empty alcoholic beverages and then went about crushing each can in a rather satisfying way before tossing them into the closest trash can which had been located in the nearest dugout. Quickly makeing her way back to “home plate” she was glad to find that she was indeed sporting a decent buzz despite the events unfolding.

She'd deny it if asked outright but lately Sam had fallen into a bit of a habit when it came to what she deemed as“patrol nights”-these nights which were originally meant to almost be a sort of break to Slugger while giving her a way to flex her muscle and put the scare into low level criminals without any real effort. In her opinion it was the best outfit she owned.

Just like tonight she always seemed to eventually find herself to a baseball field in one way or another-whether that meant breaking into Wrigley Field or simply drinking a beer or two over an unnamed sandlot like the one she sat in tonight didn't matter. There was just something about being surrounded by that dirt and chalk....

Another explosion, rather closer this time, rocked Slugger in her place. Quickly double checking to make sure she had her small aluminum bat (which was conviently jerry rigged to her back with simple clothe having been tied to both the base and a metal doghnut) Like usual she gripped her long wooden louisville slugger tightly in her left hand while a mens baseball was ready to be thrown with deadly accuracy from her right. into an excuse to drink, snort, and smoke just whatever she could get her hands on before turning her attention to some legal punching bags.

@RBYDarkHey RB, You still on? Wanted to ask real quick if you would rather me write in august saw Duprees "wall" or they rescheduled it for tommorow? I can write in dupree had a class or lecture he needed to attend if you'd like to go the former route. If I don't hear from ya soon I'll just write out something vague, leave it in the air kinda.

And no lies man, I feel like you are doing an awesome job GMing and would gladly join another rp of yours down the road.

On another quick sidenote, my post might take me a bit to make tonight, might not iether-just depends on how lucky I get.

Question for you all; what do you think about letting more people into the RP? As of now we have six characters, two-three active NPC's with many more to come. I/We accepted more people than who we have here today, so initially having more people than now was something I was ready to deal with.

Now it must be said that I am comfortable with you who are here already. I think we can (and are) more than capable of creating a great story as of now, but I'm still throwing the question out to you all; Would you want for more (dedicated) people to join us? Seen as a new chapter has been opened, I think adding more characters would be a much easier task than if they were to jump in randomly in the middle of another chapter.

Okay, that was a lot of text for just one question, but you get what I mean.

Ps. You're awesome, I'm having tons of fun with the story we're making! Keep up the ever great work of writing deep characters who's slowly going mad :D

I hate to be the one guy to disagree here but I'd be real cautious bringing people in, hate to see the steady (if somewhat slowpaced) group we do have getting derailed/abandoned by others.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not necesserily opposed to it...more like, just wana make sure we dont just accept anyone that throws a sheet up.

Just my 2 cents, gonna get clackin away on a post now (meant to last night but...ashamed to admit I fell asleep on the couch)
