Fab, when it comes to portraying a character believably, you might be the best this site has.

There's no need to build a labyrinth when the entire universe is one.

Bio

Well, this was my account. Had my fair share of memories of the guild, both good and bad. I hope you all have a great time here and keep getting better at RPing and writing. Myself, I've fallen out of love with roleplaying in general, and this site in particular. There's still good people here, but I've learned enough and seen enough that I'm not confident this site is going good places. Tanderbolt's moving on. Where am I going after this? I don't know, but to quote Raymond Carver, "I'm always learning something. Learning never ends.". Good night, ladies, good night

DC's films right now are in what I call "The Bay Area", after Michael Bay. They're genuine successes and blockbusters and target a core audience immune to critics but they get savage reviews that turn some people away and so are never in contention for the actual top movie of the year. Despite this, Bay (and his brethren like Roland Emmerich) still make the same movies, never really bothering to win over critics. People are talking about DC having to clean house after the latest disasters, but if they're making a healthy profit I'm not sure if they will bother. While they will have a tough time crossing the magical one billion dollar barrier when the reviews keep tanking their second week gross (and they aren't doing ridiculous numbers in China like Transformers), I think the only way they would be forced to change is if this latest round is enough to counteract the marketing machine and ruin their opening numbers. Then again, DC supposedly needed an $800 million dollar gross to make back their investment on BvS's $250 million dollar budget because of the massive marketing campaign and only getting some of the overseas gross, so I have no idea what kind of numbers the executives expect to see.

Reserving Percival and Scheherazade because I enjoy characters with names that are hard to spell.
Here's a question, for those who understand American law: If a Chinese man attacks an Indian man, will they call it a hate-crime? Or will they both be written off as "Asian"? Or will the Chinese man get off easy because he's a minority?

All depends on what evidence they have on hand, is there enough to show that the victim's identity as an Indian was part of the reason the Chinese man committed assault? Crimes motivated by ethnicity and national origin are considered hate crimes. Even though most hate crime victims are minorities, it is not a requirement to be charged as a hate crime, federal courts have found white people to be victims of racially motivated hate crimes in several cases.
8.5/10, I don't play overwatch but it looks cools, that's a nice piece of art and it fits the avatar format well.
@tanderbolt Interesting. I was not expecting a sitcom character. lol

I knew I wanted to go unconventional, it was either that or pretentious french literary novel protagonist.
Here's my idea for a character, I'll write up his universe a little bit later.
