I just had a thought that's just hilarious XD. If apparently they do warship cats and it's extended on to Catfolk. What would happen if she's just caught napping out in the desert in her mortal form?
But yeah, just write up the sphinx species, and add it to your character.
@Tangletail

I definitely wouldn't mind that, but in-rp you might get a clingy god thinking that you're buddies now, because he doesn't have a lot of friends.

Oh my god i'm thinking of Thu-mmmok being like the one guy who always wants to hang out, and everyone feels bad for him so they don't say no, this is becoming really funny really quickly. "Hey, Yiggzavath, you wanna hang out? we can watch the giant scorpions attack some people, or like, I have monopoly or whatever.."

Also yeah, Del Sombra is probably going to REALLY like the egyptian culture, a giant sphinx statue, and the whole worshiping cats thing.

Del Sombra doesn't mind X3. You might of noticed that the only god she's uncomfortable with is Ha. Her mind is technically everywhere at once, at least in places not sanctioned by bronze.

And maybe death would get some dislike from her. Not because what he does, because his personality makes him as interesting as a deflated chocolate bladder to her.

There's a difference between sadistic and cruel.

But she doesn't need the cat warship to find the egyptian culture interesting. Her own creations might end up finding their ways among them.

She'll find it bizarre for cats to be worshiped and praise outside of their domains. But what will draw her to it is the beautiful works of art made from sandstone, gold, obsidian, ceramic, silks, and more. And the use of makeup among the royalty.

She likes to watch and observe for her past time. Not a whole lot you can do when your human form is depicted to be blind. I guess fighing could be among them. She does disguise herself as a monk.
It will be funny though when Del Sombra notices herself picking up mass warship from deserts for some reason when a culture turns closer to Egyptian.

One day, just finding a giant sphinnx statue would make her go...

@Tangletail I like that idea, I like that idea a lot.

Also, if you like, a certain breed of Sphinxes could be made for the desert god. Sphinxes, however, aren't just exclusive to deserts X3. They appeared in several other mythologies with varied apperances suitable for the environment.

EDIT:

The Sphinx, Erudite, might be among them.
@NachoBachoPacho

Might I recommend a demi-human species? :3

Seeing that he's the father of Hyenas
Now I just thought about something.

What do you guys think? Keep the Goddess of the Unknown's only method of communication as gestures.

Or allow her to use cards with images on them.

I did wanna put some larger insects in Yig's repertoire. He'd make their venom a real ass kicker though, make whatever they sting much more sensitive to the desert heat.

So.... get them high as a kite with a side of heat stroke?
@SepticGentleman Sticking with the desert theme while making my character sheet, I was wondering if Yigzavath and my Deity could have collaborated to create giant scorpions. Because its a classic desert monster.

And also something I used a lot to piss my friends off in D&D, but that's besides the point.

Ah... Giant Scorpions... the horses of the desert.

But as a DM, my go to for rage mode players were Kobolds. Forget the Liches, forget the Balgur demons, hell - forget the big bad. My Kobolds were so bad, that hell finds them too evil.

Though the name Kobold is taken for something that resembles their original German design (without the cobalt mining). I guess you could call them Xuarip if you add them.
Doodled a random elite Acolyte for funsies.

That pose reminds me of this
