Current Has it really been 6 months since I've been here last? Well, to be back is to be back. Even if it's for an indiscernible amount of time. Hello, old friends and welcome new ones.

Bio

Edited: June 19, 2017

Welcome to my Bio. Sadly, I've Blanked this for now. I might do it later, or rather, find a layout I like later and fill it in. But for those trying to find out me before talking to me, that's not an option for now. No insights for you. :P

Oh, and a standing apology to those I've simply vanished on. I get bored easily, move on quickly, and don't really know the impact I have on people. So... sorry for not being there when you need me.

Arthur Vastria

Arthur had only begun to think of the paths he could take to the castle's interior when he heard a feminine voice speak. "You can come out, young master.." it said, a softness in the voice that put him at ease. Arthur looked up to see a female knight smirking at him, telling him the entrance he'd found was for emergencies and that he should stay by her or a knight's side for safety.

"I never really was good at hiding," Arthur said, coming out into the open, a small smile on his face. He would have asked what was happening, yet life had other plans. It would seem the gardens were not the best place to enter as the Queen came in, a bit distraught.

Something else is on her mind, and she's on hers. Intriguing.

The knight gave a small smile and turned to the Queen. Arthur was surprised at how informally the Queen was addressed, especially in the presence of someone who shouldn't know of such personal ties. That moment, however, was short lived as one of the Paladins dashed in, said something about an afflicted being cured and left.

"Afflicted?" Arthur questioned aloud, thoughts running wild with small tidbits of information that he shouldn't have heard. Fear and anxiety danced across his visage; everything telling him he's in over his head. And yet, his next words were...

"C-can I h-help?"

A bit winded, Arthur slows his run as he arrives at the road following the castle wall. He was a fair distance away from the main gate, which he would probably be let through if he said he was there to see Sophia. However, he thought that lie might be a bit shortsighted if both the Woodwraith and Storming Queen were in town. Something big must be happening, and his both his sisters would more than likely be involved in recon, surveillance, or conflict depending.

I don't believe they've found this entrance yet... I don't use it that often— is it even considered an entrance?

"Doubtful." Arthur mumbled, beginning to think aloud as his thoughts drifted a bit. Any excuse for being within the castle walls that might be enough to save his hide. "Only if caught... right?" Arthur looked around briefly before making his way across to the bushes in front of the castle wall. Behind them, just out of sight, was a small crawlspace leading to the other side; into the royal gardens. Arthur tugged at his collar, loosening it a bit and calming his nerves slightly, before crawling through to the bushes beyond.

A soft melody echoed through the garden, adding a nice ambiance. Arthur took a few moments longer than he intended to stand and dust himself off. He still remained out of sight, at least he believes he's out of sight, admiring the beauty and delicacy of the harp in the distance. Arthur might have simply left afterwards, his heart and mind put at ease due to the music. But it stopped abruptly, snapping his attention back to the reality of where he was.

It stopped? Wh— I was smaller before, but I was caught then. How to get to the castle?

Arthur's day began as many others already have. Be rudely awoken by one of the family butlers and told he must get ready for the day ahead of him. Groggily get out of bed and dress in one of the suits, grey for today, his father had tailored for him, which he hated but had nothing else. Spend some 'quality time with dad' as he and associates discussed finances, sales, and other menial things Arthur could care less about. Come up with an excuse to leave... and do so when they were so preoccupied anyway. This was the choice of the day, so Arthur had to make it wisely, where to go?

Today, Arthur felt it would be a good day to watch the skies. So he headed to the roof of his home. Life was simple, and his father was happy. But some stories aren't meant to remain the way they are, are they?

Look at that... puffy... cloud.

Arthur groaned, shifting to look at the sky over the palace.

Izzy and Soph were always better at this than I am. Maybe...

Arthur shook his head back and forth, returning his focus back to the skies.

That was then. This is now. I'll... see... something..?

Arthur's thoughts trailed off as something flew around the castle. It moved far faster than any bird Arthur knew of, and when it when it went behind one of the towers of the castle, it seemingly vanished.

Okay... the Woodwraith? But... aren't those stories? I mean... well... magic can do a lot... so... if it's him... why is he here? And didn't the Storming Queen show up in town earlier this week? Something's up...

Arthur nodded to himself. He was going to the palace... and somehow gaining entry. Or trespassing to figure out what's going on. Perfect plans are half-baked ones, right? Arthur dropped from rooftop to the second floor balcony and from there to the ground. He begins a trek he's taken a few times, cut a corner here, through an alleyway there, towards the palace of Azure's Gate.

I can get there in about 5 minutes... I hope that they're still there when I arrive. Otherwise, I hurt my legs to— well... might keep me out of a meeting for a day or two... yeah, worth it then.
@CrazyShadowy - Yeah, it would mean Eliza is Sophia's commander. Although, that would mean that the fair Queen Celosia would have to approve as well. The Royal Guard is hand-picked by the Queen after all. :P

@Oxenfree - I don't believe that Izabelle would have a problem with some 'unsavoury business' as you put it. She would probably be the one to second Samuel's notions, more so if the task involved danger or the possibility of being harmed.
@Oxenfree@Lyla@TheWindel@CrazyShadowy - I think that's everyone I need to direct to... maybe...

So I did a bit of thinking about Arthur's sisters, their motives and aspirations, why they're knights, and who their Knight Commanders may be. I saw it. I just do a lot of overthinking... and that shuts me up pretty good. That and I'm a quiet person to begin with. So... with that... let's uhh.. here.

Izabelle wished to be where Arthur is now. Being nurtured into someone capable of running the family business. Arthur was chosen by their father because Arthur's male. Izabelle turned to being a Knight as both a way to cope as well as to spite her father. Or, at least, something he said once before, that he doesn't want his daughters in harm's way. She's poured herself into the Knights, attempting to garner her father's sight, get him to realize that he's wrong and hurt her. Given this, I would say that Izabelle would have joined either The Woodsmen or Order of the Serpents, the two orders that seem a bit more headstrong and in the most danger.

As for Sophia, she was caught in the middle. Izabelle longing to be where Arthur is and Arthur wanting to be what Izabelle is. She was there to watch her family be torn, and it breaks her heart to watch her family afterwards, unable to do something about it. Sophia became a Knight to have a focus, a driving force that could help hold her world together while she thought about how to fix home. The Knights became her second family to whom she has gushed about how strong she thinks both Arthur and Izabelle are. The only Knight order I could put her under would be the Royal Guards, unless there's a City Watch made of Knights, in which case she could be a part of them as well.

Uhh... yeah... so there. I.. I'll be in the discord. I might be silent, but I'll be there.
@Lyla I'm glad you approve. :) Added Arthur Xavier Martino Vastria II to the Character list.

@Lyla I did it. :P I hope I got everything that is necessary. And that everything is all good...
