Current Has it really been 6 months since I've been here last? Well, to be back is to be back. Even if it's for an indiscernible amount of time. Hello, old friends and welcome new ones.

Bio

Edited: June 19, 2017

Welcome to my Bio. Sadly, I've Blanked this for now. I might do it later, or rather, find a layout I like later and fill it in. But for those trying to find out me before talking to me, that's not an option for now. No insights for you. :P

Oh, and a standing apology to those I've simply vanished on. I get bored easily, move on quickly, and don't really know the impact I have on people. So... sorry for not being there when you need me.

Overgrowth was cancelled, but left Maxwell with a headache and charged with magical energy (which currently has no real effect). Maxwell's spells are all intended to be quickfire spells; they can be channeled, but he's not very good at it.

Also, hello everyone. I've been silent for a bit. How are things?

The debacle between Alexander and Acron unfolded a bit differently than Maxwell had anticipated. First and foremost, another slightly taller individual intervened, apologizing on Acron's behalf. Much of the surrounding crowd began to disperse at this point, a few soft groans scattered about made by those that wanted to see a fight.

Maxwell stood there, unsure if it was truly ending and he should begin relinquishing the stored magical energy for Overgrowth. I wonder if it's ok— His thoughts cut short by a dapper young lad with an unnecessary cane darted over to Acron. Although Maxwell couldn't hear him, t'was quite clear that he whispered something and scrambled back off to the would have been sidelines. I wonder why that boy is involved with that rat.

From there, the dust settled. Acron (with a small hand from Jagred) helped Alexander up, gave him a once over, and left on his way. Okay, just let the magic go... no need to cast... Maxwell released the necessary magic for Overgrowth, tiring him slightly and giving him a headache for good measure. "Perfect..." he muttered, the excess magic within him searching for a way to leave and return to a more natural state. I know better than to hold my spells if I'm not going to cast...

"Well, I guess it's time I get checked in." Maxwell barely noticed the thought leave his lips as he turned, making his way over to the stewards.

@duskshine749 Well, we have this one. Which looks to be far more promising than others I've joined before. Even if it dies— which, let's be honest, is unlikely due to how many wonderful people are trying to make this a thing— it would be near the end of our saga anyways. Like a book where the ending isn't quite enough and leaves questions that should have been answered.
Does anyone else get this weird paranoia, where when you post, you think somehow your post will kill the RP then it's all your fault that this awesome RP didn't go anywhere?

I have that paranoia whenever I join an RP. I don't even have to have posted in the RP. 'Because I joined, it will die.' Seems reasonable, right? :p
@Kimi

+ A note on posting: If there is no IC post or contact within 10 days, other players can and will NPC your character to finish any scenes you were in so they can continue. If another 10 days passes without any form of contact, your character may be killed or otherwise used as appropriate.

+ Please wait at least 2 posts between posting again. If you are really into it and feel the need to speed post, please contact your current roleplay partner(s) using PM, write the finished scene together and post is as a collab. We also have a chatzy room being set up for quick-fire rounds if people wish to finish small scenes together.

Rules on posts. Now if you wanna wait for @Mae and @RedDusk to wrap their scene up because... reasons, that's your call. <3
Ah yes, stopping a fight in a giant plaza full of angsty, nervous, excited, hormone driven young folks. This should be good. A pity that sleep spell isn't aoe.

Cuz having everyone pass out later is... well, actually that'd be pretty funny. But, it's relevant that it's targeted. For reasons. Don't make me judge my spells man, I worked so hard on those. :P

@Iktomi Neither I nor Maxwell thought there would be a fight. But as a Peacekeeper, he should be ready to intervene if a fight were to break out.
@Brasslazer@Iktomi@RedDusk Seems like this could become a party... :p

So I'mma have to shut it down.

Maxwell had taken the time to enjoy his coffee and croissant as some future intellectual peers begun to get up from their own misfortunes of falling on the first day. Okay, time to finally get initiated. Now... His thoughts were halted by a small, elderly man approached. Maxwell recognized him as Esmond, a family butler Maxwell considered to be his grandfather.

"Now, sir, I do know that you were rushed." Esmond spoke softly and simply, speaking factually with a caring tone throughout. "However, that is no reason to be forgetful and not grab your suitcase or Identification Papers. Esmond held out the papers to Maxwell.

"Thank you, Esmond." Maxwell took the papers from Esmond, a small smile appearing on his face. "I knew we wouldn't have the proper time to say farewell, otherwise." Maxwell put the papers into a pocket of his suit, then quickly embraced Esmond. "You've been like a grandfather to me. Truly, thank you, Esmond, for everything."

"Max, you needn't fret over me." Esmond pushed Maxwell away, a grin spread wide across his face. "Go. Have fun." Esmond pointed him off towards the stewards. Maxwell waved goodbye, grabbed the suitcase, and made his way off towards the stewards.

"Ah! Watch where you're going next time!" A male voice called out. Maxwell thought he recognized it and moved towards it. And regretted it. There were two people seeming to be gathered around; one Maxwell disliked (for good reason, mind you), and the other was a bit... well, eccentric.

Hopefully, that one understands what position it's in. Just in case... Maxwell's thoughts gave way to action. Well, preparing a reaction. Someone who was paying close attention could see magical energy begin to move about around Maxwell. Maxwell would doubt it, given the sunlight and people gathering to watch what may occur. Put an end to it if it begins...
