Current Just heard the news about Woojin from Stray Kids. I'm so devastated and literally shaking. This feels like a really sick joke, but I hope he and the other 8 members are okay. #ThankYouWoojin

Sparring Match Part 2 of ?
In collaboration with @LuckyBlackCat

Rolling backwards before standing and creating a bit more space between the two, Breeze returned the rubber blade onto her stomach, taking a moment to reassess what just happened. She should've expected Kerianne to come up with something like that, and yet, she still fell for the other's feint. Had her father seen her make such a crucial mistake...a chill ran up the young girl's spine as she forcefully pushed the thoughts out of her brain. It wasn't healthy. Not now at least. Luckily, as she drove away memories that had no reason of being on the top of her mind, an idea sparked into the green girl's head, lighting a fiery smile that tugged at her lips.

She proceeded to remove the weighted blocks littering her skin and throw them to random places on their side of the the gym. With the difference in terrain as well as the added shadows cascaded throughout the floor, Breeze brought her fists up. This had originally been an idea to help Kerianne move around and use her Quirk, but this was thought up before they got the memo that they'd be sparring against each other. Did this prove advantageous to either of them? Breeze couldn't be sure just yet. Instead of worrying about it, the younger sprinted forward, aiming a speedy punch at Kerianne's face before feinting with a misguided turn. Kerianne only just managed to avoid the punch, but the misdirection threw her off, just like her own had done to Breeze. Without the blocks slowing her down, the girl seemed to move almost twice as fast as before. Now facing the older's side, Breeze brought her arms and a foot up as if she were about to full body grapple the other to the ground.

And that she did, crawling up the blonde's body almost like a spider, spinning and curling around her limbs before ultimately flipping them both to the ground. As Kerianne fell backwards onto the mat, Breeze was still on her, locking one of the former's arms and chest with her entire body. Even though Breeze weighed little without the blocks, small nimble fighters could easily use opponents' height and weight against them, as the taller girl knew from a certain someone she lived with. Struggling, she raised her torso as much as she could, reaching into the shadow of a block. She slipped through, leaving Breeze splayed out on the ground from the lack of anything to hold onto, emerging next to another cube behind her. Planting her feet apart to keep steady, she bent her knees and reached to grasp the other girl's wrists.

As a pair of hands enclosed around her wrists, Breeze found herself stilling. She knew this was just a sparring a match, but the familiar position she found herself in before was a little too startling for the green haired girl. Her brain seemed to short circuit as she squirmed a bit out of fear, but once her foot nudged against one of the wooden blocks surrounding them, Breeze took it, using both feet to fling the cube up at Kerianne's face. Her opponent raised an arm to block, leaving the grip one-handed. She yanked her arms forward as she did so, using the sudden attack to pull herself free, however instead of trying to stand, Breeze remained crouched down before swinging a leg right at Kerianne's ankles, eventually arming herself back with her rubber knife.

In two wide sidesteps, Kerianne pivoted away from the strike. Swaying, regaining her balance, she faced Breeze again, eyebrows furrowed not just from concentration but concern. That sudden freeze, that shudder, those tense muscles - The green-haired girl's reaction hadn't gone amiss.

She stayed back, lifting a hand to signal a pause, the other straightening in response. "All ok?" she asked. While it was good to put as much effort into training as into competition, had this fight become a little too lifelike? She wasn't acting like the thug she'd nearly become, was she? Or did Breeze have some messed up experiences herself?

A short distance away, the other duo's banter and dance-like moves to lively techno music contrasted with the solemnity of their own sparring session. Breeze's attention seemed to be guided towards the other battle mostly because of how embarrassed she felt for getting so frazzled over a sparring match. She didn't mean to make Kerianne look at her with such concern, it making her trembling frame shake even more.

"I-I'm sorry..." The younger whimpered, hands now gripping her rubber knife tightly as if it would stop her hands from shaking out of her own volition. Kerianne's worried frown deepened as she noticed the trembling. "I-I'm okay, you d-didn't do anything wrong...j-just, j-just got a little spooked." Green eyes eventually meeting back to look at the blonde, Breeze slowly approached Kerianne, her normally meek nature seemed to be amplified by how pale she looked compared to just a minute ago.

"Th-Thank you for worrying th-though...I'm sorry you had to stop the sparring match because of me...u-uh, we could continue if you wanted t-to?"

Kerianne lowered her hand, but stayed where she was. "It's ok. No need to apologize," she replied, earning a nervous glance from Breeze before her green gaze fell to the ground. If anything, she was the one who should feel bad, having put someone prone to anxiety in this state. She wasn't going to treat a capable and determined person like they were made of glass, but she still had to be respectful. Again, Kerianne wondered about Breeze's experiences, her reasons for wanting to become a hero. She bit the inside of her lip before speaking up again.

"Do you want to continue?" She moved one of her feet back, ready to either go into battle stance or leave the pose depending on Breeze's answer. "If you don't, that's fine. Never thought I'd say this, but maybe my sister has a point when she says time out is important."

Did she want to continue? Breeze noted the mention of her sister before putting some thought into what she'd say next. It probably would be a good idea to take a break, but that would only hinder Kerianne's training...she didn't want to be a bother to someone else, especially someone as nice as Kerianne. With a quick shake of her head, Breeze stepped back a few feet.

"...I-I think we should continue..." Breeze didn't want to stop at such an awkward note, and knew that sparring would definitely make things a little less weird for her, so it was the only option. With her knife held out in front of her, Breeze awaited Kerianne's next attack, a reassured albeit, nervous smile pulling at her lips...

Pairs were meant to...duel against each other? While Breeze looked very relieved and quickly accepted Kerianne's offer to team up with her, the slight surprise on her face was evident when the other turned out being her opponent. This surprise faded as quickly as it appeared, Breeze probably feeling even more glad that she didn't have to fight any of the scary newcomers; well except for Alex, she seemed nice enough.

At the teacher's unexpected announcement, Kerianne's forehead creased. She should have been clearer. "Uh, Sir, that isn't what I mea-" she started, then fell silent. It wasn't her place to question the rules. Facing Breeze, she relaxed as she saw the little smile on her face. Maybe this was for the best. Maybe Breeze would be even more comfortable with an opponent she trusted than an ally she trusted.

The girl completely littered in square shaped tattoos looked to her fellow classmate, lowering herself to a more crouched fighting stance. The normally meek and easily frightened girl now held a serious expression on her face, one ready to battle.
"R-Ready?"

Taking her own battle stance, Kerianne nodded. The room no longer swayed as she moved, the side effect of her Quirk having worn off. "Ready."

No sooner had she given the okay that Breeze lunged with a rubber knife, her arms initially crossed in front of her before swiping outwards, aiming straight for the blonde's torso region. Kerianne's reflexes kicked right in. She dodged the blade like she'd dodged the steely glint of the real thing on rough streets those few times. Her face the unreadable mask of someone in survival mode, she dived into a cart's shadow and surfaced behind Breeze. She reached out, aiming to hold her opponent's arms behind her back.

Had Breeze not been aware of the other's Quirk, she probably wouldn't have been able to react quick enough to escape. But fortunately, the green haired girl knew how to get around something like this. Just as Kerianne's presence appeared behind her, Breeze crouched down lower than she had originally, grabbing one of the hands that came forward to restrain her and hooking it over her shoulder. Using her smaller hands to secure her grip on Keri's own, the shorter girl pushed backwards onto the other's chest before pulling forward, flipping Kerianne over her shoulder. However instead of letting her fall, Breeze let go so that the blonde could recover without any problems.

She proceeded to lift up her shirt and push the knife into her skin for safe keeping. Now that their previous scuffle had returned to their original standstill, Breeze tried a different approach. Whether Kerianne had fully recovered or not, Breeze approached the former with a cartwheel followed by a halfway back handspring into the air. Instead of her feet hitting the ground first, both feet aimed straight for Kerianne's face.

Catching her breath, Kerianne had no time to sit up. As Breeze leaped, the blonde turned her head, reaching for her opponent's growing shadow and vanishing. She reappeared by the punching bag as Breeze landed on the ground, the later needing another leap to lower her momentum. "Good trick there," she called, spacing her feet for balance as if she'd jumped from a moving vehicle. She'd have to be careful how often she relied on her Quirk in this fight.

"Th-Thank you!" The younger eventually called out with a slight stutter before letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding in.

This time, Kerianne ran at Breeze. It was only halfway towards her that she crouched, thrusting her hand at a shady patch. Green eyes immediately shifted away from her figure in anticipation of where she would pop up next. Instead of teleporting, though, she sprang back up and kept running. Making use of the momentary confusion the feint move had been meant to cause, she gripped Breeze's shoulders, sweeping her foot towards the green-haired girl's legs.

With no time to brace herself, nor react defensively once her shoulders were grabbed, Breeze was forced to the floor on her back, one hand instinctively holding onto one of Kerianne's wrists while the other went under her shirt. The taller girl found herself bending double. With the wind mostly knocked out of her, the shorter swiped upward with the rubber knife she'd placed on her stomach prior, hoping the attack would be enough to at least stagger the blonde and give Breeze a chance to roll back up to a more favorable position.

Swiveling her wrist, Kerianne swiped her arm free of Breeze's grip and stepped the the side, too slow to evade the blade's tip that glanced off of her ribs. The blond pursed her lips. It hadn't hurt, but in a real battle, even if she avoided lethal injury, an attack like that would still weaken her.

This was just a sparring session, yet she couldn't let her guard down. Some day the fights wouldn't be so friendly. And to reach that point of being a pro hero, she had to show how seriously she took the training.
Oof, sorry about the purple mate lmao

@Grey Cool! tbh i don't have much for my Hearing Girl or Touch Boi, so I'll get to that first and then probably shoot you a pm to talk more about it! :)
Lets get it, I'm so exited to see everyone's characters! ^^

Also good idea Grey, I'ma snag Breath of Love for one of my characters and probably make a new breath for the other.

If anyone's interested in planning out one of my characters knowing yours or having some kind of relationship, hmu and we can make something up together :D

Fei || Andour City || @JrVader

Ah, so this guy was a halfie, huh? No matter, it didn't excuse the fact that half of his blood was purer than anything she'd probably laid her eyes one. Nodding slowly to show she was listening, Fei clapped her hands in awe as the little flecks of light rose up into the sky, some of them even getting close enough for her to reach out and touch.
"Wow that's so cool..." She mused with a sweet smile before tilting her head at the man's sudden rambling, a thoughtful look painting over her original features.

"Well, you don't have to define yourself under a single title if you don't want to or don't think you fit under any. You can just be, uh, you...if that makes sense." The girl tried to explain, hands moving around in strange motions as if it were helping her prove her point. She only stopped when the taller man introduced himself, Lucian was his name, before asking for her own. Being far too use to strangers and acquaintances alike complimenting her looks with pet names and things of the sort, Fei appeared mostly unfazed as she took Lucian's hand firmly.

"Fei Iordanou. Maiden of the Sky and Sky Knight. The pleasure is mine. Might I ask what you're most looking forward to in the Festival?"

Nova || Merunda

Th green haired teen remained towards the rear of the group, shaky hands gripping his tome tightly in his grasp. Gold eyes shifted from any movement that wasn't directly in front of him. Things weren't looking good, but it seemed like everyone was doing their part to make amends. Nova had to do the same. He quickly took in what everyone had to say, nodding slightly in understanding before holding a hand up to get their attention.
"Um, I c-can hold a vantage point in one of the empty b-buildings and make sure n-none of the bandits come close to any of the houses?" He offered with a slight tilt of the head. He knew any form of head on battle would only resort in him getting hurt. Hopefully it would be enough...

location: Vertti Household

Grisaia opened his mouth as if he was about to say something once the door swung open, but as the all too familiar embrace enveloped his senses, the blonde could only freeze and allow himself to be pulled into the Mistress' room. He'd never been uncomfortable in there until now, seeing as he awkwardly remained by the door, eyes following every form of movement in the room; unbeknownst to the blonde, he was exhibiting traits of when he fist came to the mansion.

The couldn't stop the twitch of his right eye when he saw Mie collect the knife that was originally discarded on the floor, nor could he stop the drooping of his ears when he realized they weren't going tell him what happened a few minutes prior. Did they really not think he couldn't hear what they were saying?

He's a fucking rabbit for crying out loud. The size of his ears should be enough proof!

"...You gave her the Royal Seal?" He asked, hoping he didn't hear that correctly. He'd still had some faith in Mie even after Vertti's words of warning, but giving her something so important was just asking for it to be stolen. And not only that. "...And you want to go and fight the enemy with the seal in your possession?" He couldn't be the only one hearing this, right?

Pinching the bridge of his nose with a gloved hand, Grisaia let out a tired sigh, the magic being taken away from him as well as the sudden turn of events was actually making him want to curl up in a corner and die.
"Well, Mie, if you intend on going out there, Adhara could use some help protecting the northwest quadrant of the barricade." Despite the hint of jealousy dripping from his words, there was no point arguing. He'd just be the good little servant he ways has been and let those above him take the reigns despite letting the fucking fox leave the estate with the Royal Seal being probably the worse possible thing that could happen.

As Eiko got closer to the siege equipment, she could see that they were all fairly standard in design. All constructed out of the usual materials. They were clearly set up to fire on the noble district, but Eiko noticed that something was missing. They didn’t have any ammo available. There were no rocks or other items that could be used to fire. If they had a cultist capable of making stones to throw, they weren’t currently making ammo for the siege engines.

The few cultists that noticed Eiko flying closer didn’t make any sudden movements. They just stared at her from under their cloaks.

Taking the chance as the lack of ammo and her earlier encounter with the cultists wasn’t nearly as bad as she thought it would be, Eiko lowered herself to the ground a few meters away from the cloaked beings. Emerald eyes narrowed in disdain as she held her staff out in front of her as a warning.
"Hey! Just what do you think you're doing?!" She hissed while approaching, a faint yellow glow beginning to coat her body.

The cultists looked at each other before locking their eyes on Eiko again. They might have been passively watching her when she was in the sky, but now they saw an opportunity to strike. They drew daggers and swords before wordlessly charging towards Eiko. They were not deterred by her intimidating display of magic.

Never one to kill even if the ones opposing her truly deserved such a fate, Eiko flapped her wings only barely to pull her feet off the ground before dashing forward with the intent of incapacitating the cultists coming after her. Her staff immediately transformed into a lance with the flourish of her wrist, wings flapping once more so that her upper body was much higher than her enemies'. The young teen proceeded to swipe and shank at the cultists, only ending her assault once they crumbled to the ground. Her path of attack was clearly leading to the equipment, her next intention being to destroy said equipment before reporting back.

The cultists fell easy enough, if not knocked unconscious, maimed to the point where they could no longer fight back. The siege equipment was sturdy, but with no one to stop Eiko, she could ram her lance into the contraptions as many times as it took. After a few solid hits, the first catapult caved in on itself. The trebuchet just needed a solid hit to its pivoting point to cause the whole thing to crumble.

Before she could go any further, the wind abruptly blew her back towards the city. At least Eiko thought it was the wind at first, but she could feel the wind rushing over her wings and it was moving in the wrong direction. Something was pulling her back, but she couldn’t feel any force exerted on her body aside from her momentum suddenly changing. She came to a stop mid-air over the top of a building, where two stony hands came out of the roof and took hold of her ankles. That was when he stepped into Eiko’s field of view.

”What are you doing!? Can’t you see I’m trying to free the witch from this miserable tomb?” He drew back his hand. ”You insufferable…” He looked down at Eiko’s chest. ”What are you doing here? I thought you were with Lust!” He shrugged. ”Well you did help me spot her I suppose,” He shook his finger. ”But I’m not going to be nice to you if you keep disobeying me like that.” He flicked his eyes up at Eiko. ”So yea, honestly. What do you think you’re doing? You could have set me back.” He growled.

Eiko was still trying to comprehend what just happened in the span of only a few seconds. Of course she attempted to break free from the harsh hands grabbing her ankles, but with how this man was acting, there was no point in trying to escape. Ensuring her feet were planted atop the roof she was now connected to, the emerald eyed girl chose her words with a straight forward mindset.
"Lust? Witch? ...What do you think I'm trying to do? If you try and use that equipment, so many innocent lives will be lost!Who do you think you are to jeopardize that?!" She hissed, knuckles turning white as she gripped her lance. It probably would've been better to play along with whatever the hell this guy was saying, but Eiko would never turn again the people, not even for a second!

"I don't know who you think I am, but..." Trailing off as she brought her lance down on the stone hands restaining her, "you're not going to get away with this. Od Laguna demands that you don't."

Vaux hopped backwards. ”Oh, are you wrathful too? Do you wish to punish me?” He threw his hands up in the air and laughed. ”You’re just a child throwing a tantrum. Wait until you get older. Let that hatred fester!” The building started to shake. Eiko could hear the sound of stone cracking, and two golums emerged from either side of the building. They had long, slender bodies, but were covered in large spikes. ”Wait until you’ve lived a life as long as mine. You’ll hate everyone. You’ll hate your family, your friends, You’ll never be able to stop being angry!” A third golum started started to form directly under the arch-bishop, elevating him higher into the air. ”Your pathetic display of anger embarrasses me. I am Vaux Maximilianus, Divagro von Theodoric und Hieronymous, and I will show you what it means to be mad!” All three golums lunged forward, hands outstretched to crush Eiko in their grasp. ”Od Laguna can suck an egg!”

"Suck a--" It was one thing to call Eiko a child. One thing to restrain her and talk down to her like she was nothing. One thing to even threaten her own life. But no one...no one talked about the great Od Laguna, the one she's spent most of her life praying to, in such a disgusting manner. Having no time to respond, Eiko's staff shined the same color as her body as the bladed side of the lance flattened out and thickened into the heavy side of a hammer. Chipping enough away from the hands that were holding her still, Eiko broke through with her strength alone, using that power to increase the momentum of her swing at the one of the hands attempting to clamp down on her.

Her hammer came crashing sideways on one of the golum's hand, giving her enough room to fly out of the line of fire. Instead of escaping, the girl stood her ground at eye level with the source of the attacks, eyes wide and almost crazed due to the sudden attack on both her life and god.
"Take it back..." She growled, gritting her teeth harshly as she slowly but surely approached the elf man, whether or not he sent his golums after her or not. "You have no right to spout such nonsensical dribble about me, but don't you dare think I'll let you go after tainting our Great's name with your vile voice. Vaux Maximilianus, Divagro von Theodoric und Hieronymous, t-take it back...TAKE IT ALL BACK!"

The magic surrounding her body started to flicker like a light the more heated she got...
Outside Mecca, Green Sahara @Nerevarine @Double

She attempted to draw out the rest of the pale green glyph in front of her, but her fingers were shaking so badly, her glyph looked more like a something a child would come up with than he usual precision that came from her. The Messier Object seeping magic out of her very core as well as the fatigue steadily growing from it do very little to help. But that didn't stop the blonde from at least trying.

Well, trying until she couldn't anymore.

So focused on completing the healing glyph, or at least what was eligible of it, Capella hadn't noticed her chains break away into flecks reflective light until her body stumbling backwards a few feet from the action. Her Keyblade also faded out of existence much like a dying star, leaving Capella's side after being out for so long.

She didn't feel too great. Actually, none of them were looking to hot from what her blurry vision could comprehend. For one, the man she had yet to get the name of fell to his knees at the disappearance of his brother. While to her side, Capella looked over just in time to see Audry face-plant into the sandy ground below them. Honestly Capella wanted to do the same, but she had to make sure the others were okay before doing do. As a hand went out to draw another glyph, index finger flickering with a pale green light, a sharp pain erupted from the young woman's chest, right where her Star Fragment rested. Blood trailed down from the corners of her lips as both hands went to clutch the area, body doubling over and falling to the ground like a little ball. At that point she couldn't move anymore, a quiet whimper escaping her lips before tears began to form in her eyes.

Everything just...hurt. So much. The amount of strain she's felt during this single day has been more than how much she's went through her entire life combined. But honestly? She'd rather be in this position than back home. Unable to stop the trembling reverberating throughout her body, Capella silently sobbed herself into unconsciousness, her now lax body forcing her to lay on her side...

Mere seconds after Audry awakening, the previously unconscious Moogle that was left behind in favor of helping Ezra came crashing down on top of the woman's head. If looks could kill, well Audry wouldn't be feeling much. Unaware of the other's condition as she was more worried about the one that hadn't woken up, Amalthea looked down at Audry with the closest thing to a frown she could make.
"What happened to protecting her?"
