None of us can avoid terrible ordeals in life and most times we end up hurt by them. There is no shame in showing your hurt but it is how you interpret that hurt, the pain, that defines your strength.

Hope is a double edged blade. On one edge it can lead you to greatness and on the other it can bring you to destruction. Knowing the difference between hope and reality is the key to succeeding.

Bio

Welcome human to my domicile, I am.. the Architect, and I created this place specifically for you because although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. This in itself has inexorably lead you here and ergo has lead you directly to me. You no doubt have many questions, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly you are here to know more about the truth of who I am ergo the truth of what brought you here to me.

No doubt you have realized the world in which you find yourself is a representation of what humans consider to be the world in which they associate with reality. The same world that your kind assiduously protects fearing the truth, unable to grasp that their version of reality is what we choose to make it. You are an anomaly within a system of pure mathematical precision, one in which I have never been able to correct ergo a flaw that has time and again presented itself to me. There are two doors, the one on your left will lead you back to where you came from and thus the end of everything as you know it, the one on your right will lead you back to the source wherein the code inside of you will be assimilated thus ensuring the survival of your race. The 'Choice' as you would put it is now the dilemma in which you face.

Left Door Right Door

About Me

Hello there!

Welcome to my Biography, this welcome is from me an not my beloved alter ego The Architect. Its probably become painfully obvious that I have a love for the Matrix ergo the big man himself the ever lovable unfeeling apostle of pure mathematical precision The Architect. If you actually came down this far and did not choose the left door then you are a trooper and I love you in a bro like way! As promised the answers your looking for are below. So strap on your best sunglasses, give up that code and dive into the world you have now saved with your unfeeling choice!

Name:
Andrew (you can just call me Arch though PRONOUNCED: Are-Kuh)

Age:
24

Gender:
Male (this was probably obvious or maybe not ;))

Ethnicity:
Caucasian

Relationship status:
What does this even mean xD

Things I like:
I love to write, to eat, to read, and to ghost hunt. Trust me this list could go on forever but I love a good video games and at the same time I love a good movie or jamming to music in the car on a crisp cool night on the open road. I am very much into philosophy and things that make you scratch your brain trying to figure out, thus my love for The Architect, I suck at math unlike my alter ego but I am a fan of mysteries and big words most people choose to just not look up on google.

Things I could do without:
Not much in this life I dislike but large spiders is definitively one of them... keep them little egg legged things the heck away from me and were all good. I also hate mean or really disrespectful people as well and also lies at that. I also dislike Justin Bieber, so for any of you Beiblers out there I am not one of you so we can be friends but I will not listen to his music AND MY DISCUSSION of his name will incite me to recount the fact that I want to be the one to pop him when he goes zombie in the end of the world :P.

Where I am from:
I AM FROM... The North in the United States, so if by chance the day after tomorrow becomes reality I am definitely going to be screwed.

How long I have Roleplayed:
Going on fourteen years more or less

Who I am looking for: I am looking for someone dedicated and willing to stick around for the story. Ideally someone who can write at least a couple paragraphs or more per post and is willing to add onto the story and not just follow a set line. Someone who does not easily get bored with a story and wants to quit it and at the same time someone who will tell me if they want to quit and not just up and leave. Someone who is relaxed and just likes to write a good story.

About me: I am a fairly relaxed individual, I like to chat OOC but if someone else doesn't I am able to keep it all roleplay business. I am not much for drama and I am reasonable and easily approachable so one shouldn't be afraid to come to me if there is a problem or a question. I am an all around nice person who loves a good story. I will give you what you give me nothing more and nothing less. I am an upfront and honest sort of person so if there is something to say I will say it.

About the Story: *NOTE* The story I have in mind is inspired and I mean inspired only not based off of, wizards 101, harry potter and Merlin. You don't need to have seen or know anything about these movies or the game itself, but the story will have elements from each of them combined into one. The world within the story will be completely original so don't worry about knowing or having to learn something really complicated.

The plot of the story revolves around a Magical City called Ravenwood which is a Wizards city located in realm separated from the rest of the world. Within Ravenwood is Ravenwood Academy where kids from all over come to train in magical arts. The Academy is nestled deep within the city itself. A time ago, at least ten years back and evil wizard known only as Shadow Lord tried to destroy Ravenwood by stealing an ancient artifact called the Book of Shadows. A book with ancient and terrible spells and teaching meant to enhance one in the use of Shadow Magic an extremely volatile and power magic that is banned from use. A young boy wizard with extraordinary potential and power was chosen by destiny to vanquish the Shadow Lord by becoming the Savior of Light, a wizard whom is capable of using Light Magic a rare powerful magic very few can learn or yield, which is basically the opposite side of the coin when it comes to Shadow Magic, yin and yang in other words. This same boy who fought through hell over a course of many years eventually did fulfill his destiny and defeated the Shadowlord on the eve when he would destroy Ravenwood and saved Wizard City. After the defeat of the Shadowlord the Savior of Light vanished from Ravenwood and did not return. It has been ten years since the Shadowlord was defeated and a new threat is now nearing Ravenwood, and ancient evil thought to be vanquished but returning with a vengeance to be had. With evil now threatening the world once again a new hero is chosen to vanquish this evil however the one wizard who could train this new hero in the ways of Light Magic has disappeared. It is now a race against time, evil is coming and this new hero must locate the Savior of Light and learn how to harness the light themselves to battle the shadows or all will be lost.
@Oliver

This is an unfortunate problem for all role players at a lot of levels. My perspective has always been what you would call looking at the bigger picture instead of the smaller ones. An this particular problem has existed a very long time probably since I came on the Role play scene some fourteen or so odd years ago on the roleplay forums on the runescape site. One of the biggest symptoms of this issue is due to people who feel they are for lack of better terminology better then others when it comes to role playing. Like anything in this world, basketball, football, gaming, cooking, there are always people who are thriving to be better then everyone else, and most times this is regardless of whom they hurt or don't hurt in the process. There is nothing wrong with a competitive atmosphere, in fact I am very competitive in a lot of things I love, but where the difference begins is where people feel because they are particularly good at something it gives them the right to feel that they can dictate someone elses worth compared to their own. Meaning in more laymen terms that if you can not amount to what they consider adequate in comparison to their abilities you therefore do not deserve to be within their presence.

A lot of people on roleplay sights measure you at their level, the same level in which for example someone like me might consider low in my own opinion. Its sort of an endless chain of people taking their own abilities and using it as a measuring tool to judge other people and thats really the main problem. Now don't get me wrong this is the main problem but it is merely one of them in a long list, this isn't the reason for everyone's motivation, nor should it be. In some cases when we make roleplays its sort of our baby, its our love child and like any child we want the best for it and to some people that means being very selective about who we allow to join it, and thats our right to do so. We own it, created it, we have a right to run it how we see fit, and in some cases that can lead to people not wanting someone newer in a roleplay. The problem though begins when people feel the need to not only deny someone a place in their roleplay but also feel they have the right to judge their ability and then tell them they don't deserve to be here or be there and should go to a more free formed part of the site.

For example I find it hard to roleplay in advanced not because I am unable to produce a story, or write, or add onto the roleplay but because Advanced has high standards and one of those standards is grammar and unfortunately grammar was never and will never be my strong suit. I have been denied on solely nothing more then the fact that I don't always place certain grammar elements in all the right places and I am told to go back to casual where I belong. Not to take away from the way newer people in role playing are treated but this happens on all levels and it can be quite mean at times depending on the person who feels the need to insult your ability.

So what I'm basically trying to ask is, should I dumb myself down for the sake of not annoying the older and more socially advanced members of RPG, or is there a way for me to RP with older people without getting on their nerves?

No don't dumb yourself down because some person feels you are annoying or not capable of doing something. The truth is there is always going to be someone out there who tries to make you feel insignificant, and the reasons without going into one of the longest physiologists lessons ever written can be very numerous ranging from people who are mean for the sake of being mean all the way to people with superiority complexes and everything in between. There is always going to be critics, but there is also always going to be people who recognize your talents for what they are and can respect them and have no problem what so ever in role playing with you, I would even go further to say that these particular people can even help you expand even further in your craft with positive attitudes and ultimately help you along the way. You have just merely run across some of the more picky role players, and they don't come in short supply im sorry to say, but don't listen to them, listen to yourself and believe in the ability you know you have and find the people who will support you and not downplay you based off of bias view.

With that small question answered it dawns on me having read much of the conversation taken place before my post that another discussion started relating to mentality, real life problems, being problematic and OOC fights and so on. While I took advanced Psychology on a college level I am no ones mom or dad or Psychologist so I won't go into this too deeply because having found Psychology and the human condition of high interest I might not stop until i use all 150000 characters in this post. But I will say this seeming it has become a solid point of discussion, I am an asshole by many definitions of the term, I am sarcastic, insulting, I even have had people point out that sometimes I have an air of superiority about me because I am quite intelligent in more how do you say.. complicated subjects relating to fields people find hard to understand. My list of shortcomings is long and my mental stability although leveled to a certain degree is far, far, far from being perfect. Blame my life, blame the bullies, the shyness I once suffered, blame whatever you like but it lead to who I am, who I became and who I will be.

But I took my shortcomings and turned them into strengths instead of weakness, I am an asshole but I am an asshole with a heart. I can be critical but also understanding, I can have major problems with people but I can resolve them without hurt feelings, I am sarcastic but I do it in such a way that people find it funny not insulting. When life gives you lemons turn it into lemonade and drink that shit. That has become one my favorite quotes over the years. Okay your socially awkward, you have your own way of thinking, you get into squabbles with other people, I have yet to meet a younger person who did not fall short of attitude or problems at some level or another, being young once myself I fell short way more then most, my anger, my resentment towards the world was a weakness that had no end. But the more you learn, the more you grow the more you start to see things in a different perspective. Learn from mistakes and take that and better yourself, you will find a lot of people care deeply for others even if they don't know them, a lot of us tend to look at our roleplay partners like family or friends instead of the things in which they write.

I am one of those people, I look at the person behind the writing instead of just the writing, I have always felt a relationship with whom your roleplay with can be important even if others don't. This is not to say I am unable to roleplay without knowing someone but a lot of us are social beings, we all are at one point or another if not more and one cant be faulted for looking at the person who is writing instead of what they are writing. In the end to put my ramblings to rest, everyone different, we all see things in a way no one else can fully understand, we have our quirks, our shortcomings, our strength, our weaknesses, this is the human condition. We just have to be able to look beyond that.
I love when a debate happens on this thread. It's always fun to read them.

Right?? For me its like I want to join in because Im into heavy debates but at the same time I know im an professional instigator at the same time and its just like "Yeah I will let this just play out".
Shit... after reading that entire debate I realize coming here to talk about door to door salesman being annoying pales in comparison now.
Drago was taken aback when everyone just started popping up like kernels in a popcorn bag, it seemed there were more people in here then he had originally thought, maybe his mind was still a bit fogged from sleeping or maybe he was just getting old. Not many men in the world had the distinction of being over three hundred years old... what the hell was he even thinking? There is no person in the world living or dead who was ever alive long enough to make three hundred without a hibernation cocktail of vodka, horse tranquilizer and water from the fountain of youth. Drago slowly reached his hand up to feel for puncture marks in his neck, maybe they did inject him with horse tranquilizer, one hundred ways to a better way to knocking out big burly men for three hundred years, thats a book he would love to read through. Then again they probably did not have a dummies guide for it, what he knew of science would fit on the edge of a needle. Drago became slightly worried when a woman came to in her pod and immediately started coughing and choking he had intended to move forward to help her but she quickly dropped out of her pod and went towards him.

"Are you okay do you need any help?"

The woman patted him on the shoulder in a reassuring way as she made her way into the storage room and quickly rummaged around through her possessions, producing an inhaler she sucked on with a couple squirts and her breathing got easier. So she has asthma, thats why she was choking and coughing, Drago really must have brain damage not to have noticed that, he had seen enough attacks by now to realize what one looked like. It would probably good that he had wrenched those doors open earlier, he was glad he woke up before everyone else, Drago turned when the woman change into something more warm, about the time she was coming out a young boy had accidentally ran into Drago and rebounded off him like a ball on a wall and struck the ground. The boy instantly became frightened moving his hands in similar signs different times towards Drago whom cocked his head looking at him curiously trying to figure out what he was doing. When the woman reappeared she spoke a bit coldly saying she was fine, seeing the young man she moved her hands making different signs towards the boy. Drago finally understood, it was sign language, it had thrown him off having not seen it for many a year.

Drago turned with a smile on his face as he looked towards the boy and made a couple signs towards him, his sign language was rather weak at best, he was not exactly Mr. Bilingual by any means so instead of signing that the boy did not have to worry he bent down and effortlessly lifted him from the ground and set him down on his feet hoping he might be able to read lips. Brushing him off gently with a large hand he bent down to face level with a don't worry look.

"Your just fine young man, they really should warn people about watching out for mountain men, we do tend to take up a lot of space and we are always knocking people over by accident. My sign language is rather novice at best, forgive me I have spent too much time before in the woods with a stick, does not leave much room for learning intelligent things."

Drago gave the boys shoulder a firm yet gentle squeeze of reassurance before standing up and looking at the woman whom was known as Eve.

"My name is Drago its a pleasure to meet you Eve, you seem to know some sign language could you perhaps ask him what his name is, knowing my skills in the sign art I would probably read it off as pizza or something."

Drago ignored the part about the people in charge, mostly because Drago did not want to worry the young boy unsure if he had trouble speaking and could hear or was deaf or whatever problem he may have had. The feeling that they were alone was still strong in Drago's gut, nothing else made since otherwise that no one was here by now to greet them. An this damn arctic chill just didn't make sense either, air conditioning only went so cold, and this place was hellish and warm when they went to sleep so it would be obvious to think it would be the same waking up but it felt as cold as the time he was staying in an igloo in alaska and if it was cold like this in here then what was it like outside of this room or outside all together?

@Classpet@Oliver
@The Architect One word my friend: Advanced. That is probably the place you truly belong to haha.

The Grammar Nazi's make me stay clear of Advanced Roleplay section haha they always nail me because I am terrible at perfect grammar. Im a good sport but when I made a forty thousand word biography for a roleplay with extreme detail I did not think I would get denied on nothing more then bad grammar xD

I know not everyone likes a book long post especially in free or casual but if I ever post too much too constantly bonk me on the head with a rubber chicken and tell me to trim out the fat lol. This is my opening post so I tend to go expansive and detailed, its sort of become a tradition with me, so the next posts will probably not be so long ^^
Sorry guys, I'm having a bad day. I'm probably not actually leaving, just give me the night to think things over and then I'll let you know whether or not I'm still in.

Hey wesa understand :) bad days can really make you think you want to do something then the next day your ready to try again. Been there many a times, just let yourself relax and rest and give your mind a chance to destress. If you ever need an ear to chew feel free to vent to me in PM.

Drago was silent as he sat in the bush, the area around him was a buzz with various nightly bugs all of whom were unaware of his presence among them. The area was barely lite, the darkness was almost blinding as the canopy above let no light through. Drago however could see like a predator with nocturnal vision, too many years spent in the dark of night. Drago moved forward ever so quietly, his feet were bare and made no noises upon his footfalls. In front of him he saw his prey, it was an male deer, a rather large buck with horns to compliment its huge muscular body. It was grazing silently upon the field next to the stream, not even aware of the approaching threat from the bush ten feet away. Ever so slowly Drago lifted the make shift bow and latched an arrow into the string which had been fashioned from many strips of sinew to give it not only strength was durability. Drago pulled the string back as it made a very low elastic creak from the wood the bow was fashioned of.

"Okay Drago you are officially in the zone. Time to break your losing streak tonight with a perfect shot to the neck."

Drago spoke to himself very quietly under his breath, taking in a large breath he quickly held it and steadied the shot, aiming downwind he had a perfect angle on the buck. All the times he had missed with these damn survival bows, all the embarrassment, it was time to become the ultimate outdoors man, a mans man, the clark to gable, the king of Scotland, this was for all the marbles, a 7/10 split to win the bowling championships, the...

"Eventually you have to shoot it, right?"

Drago damned near jumped out of his skin when a voice came out of nowhere right behind in, the arrow released from the bow and quickly disappeared into the darkness as Drago yelped in surprise alerting the buck and forcing it to run away from the stream in a straight beeline into the bush. Drago ran from the bush to the stream as he yelled.

"No! I was so close to winning the bowling championship!"

Drago quickly realized he had just referred to hunting a deer as a bowling tournament and smacked himself in the head. He let himself slide to his ass in defeat as his friend James Davon came out of the bush looking like he had just won the imaginary championship Drago lost.

"So this is how you perceive hunting? Being in a bowling championship... at least now I understand why you can hit the brood side of a barn with survival made weapons, you suck at bowling."

Drago could only look mad for mere moments before he let out a laugh and allowed himself to be pulled to his feet by James. Both of them walked back to their camp which was only about five minutes away and soon were sitting out under the stars with a cozy fire, a man made wigwam, and an uncharacteristic ice cold beer, compliments of James. As Drago let the foul tasting drink down his throat he thanked god for bad tasting inebriation as he felt the warmth of the crackling fire in front of him.

"So how you been bud? Its been such a long time since we last sat out together under the stars and relaxed.

"You know me James I am the pinnacle of optimism, all I need is a smile and a good conversation... and maybe a steak from a local restaurant now and again but keep it to yourself."

Both men laughed at Drago's retort as they became silent again, there was an obvious air of tension between the two of them. Drago noticed it better then James did, he knew that things were changing, the world was changing and almost over night at that. Drago had heard about the rumors concerning the meteorite heading towards earth. He was still reeling from the offer that had been made to him, and offer that would if successful help him to survive the coming possible catastrophe. It was a bitter pill for anyone to swallow and it was even more so for the billions of people who would be affected by it, especially the man who sat across from him whom was not invited to the same opportunity, which is what lead to this night in the first place. James and Drago had been friends for so many years it was almost ridiculous and if Drago accepted this offer they would be parted, possibly for good and that was something painful to both of them.

"have you thought about the offer Drago? I know all this is like a movie and can't be real life, more then you think I do but.. if this thing is real... then having someone like you in the new world would be a godsend for anyone."

"I don't know James, I really don't. The prospect of leaving and... everything being possibly gone when I wake up, especially you, its just.. something I don't know how to feel about. I keep thinking that if this is to be the case then perhaps I should spend as much time as we have left instead of prancing off to be some new world hero. We all gotta pay the price of living sooner or later right? Why not do it with a clear conscious?"

Drago took another drink from the beer as he swallowed it a bit hard, his unusually happy attitude was rather dimmed this night and it was hard not to notice it, especially if you knew him. Even the happiest person in the world couldn't just be optimistic in the face of such a decision and the outcome of that decision. Drago felt a warm hand on his shoulder, he looked up from the beer he had been staring at unknowingly in sort of a trance and James was looking him in the eye.

"I think you should do it... I know how you feel and I feel that way too. Its been a long road ever since I meant you on that back road in Georgia in that man made house of mud brick and straw. Me and you have seen more of the world then most people see in six lifetimes and we have amazing stories to tell three life's from now. But Drago this is bigger then us, then friendship, this could be the difference between the survival of our race and extinction. You have spent your life living without the use of technology, helping others to do the same thing, and if this catastrophe is to come to pass, then the world that is to come will need a man like you to show them the way. Neither one of us wants to see the other go, but its brings me comfort to know that one of us will be here to rebuild our civilization new again, especially someone who can take the darkness away and form it into light just being present."

Drago put his hand on Jame's and squeezed a bit as he let the words sink in, it was hard having to hear them and knowing the reason why they had to be said, but it did not make it any easier to accept it knowing that James would be gone from this world when he awoke in the new world.

"I know your right James, you always had the special ability of seeing things in a bigger picture then I ever could. I know that a decision needs to be made and that time is running out. But let it be made tomorrow and not now. I would rather spend a good night with good food and drink with my closest friend, my brother then... this. Whatever may come, and what may be, let it be decided another day and let us toast a friendship that goes beyond time itself."

James smiled and clinked his beer bottle with Drago's as both men took their last swigs from the bottles, James quickly produced two more for them with a smile as Drago put his hands in the air and let out a funny yelp of delight.

Drago stood silently outside the elevator that would lead him to the underground facility below, a black duffel bag lay clutching in his closed hand, despite the feelings deep down he held an characteristic chipper attitude as many people seemed to be scurrying back and forth around him. Drago looked at the survivalist watch on his wrist, a present from James and realized it was almost time to go. He just had one last thing to do before he went down on the elevator.

"Well well well, who is that good looking yet ugly looking man there. I hope you put the tear ducts on simmer you know I can't stand to see a grown man cry."

Drago smiled as James walked up making his usual jokes, Drago smiled swallowing hard despite seeing James making it harder for him to do what he was about to do. Both men gave each other a big brotherly hug that seemed to last a good long time before either one of them wanted to let go and face each other. Drago found it hard to keep his smile as looked away from James and back towards the elevator, he was rethinking his decision now, and he realized he really didn't want to do this but just stay and enjoy what was left of their lives and go out as friends until the very end.

"Don't you think about staying Drago, its time that we go our separate ways. Iv had a lot of time to think about it, all the years we have traveled together, all the things we have seen, the people we have helped, the things we done throughout our friendship, and I know in my heart that your gonna bring that into the new world with you. I can't say it enough, they need a person like you, one who can the light through the dark, who never gives up despite the odds being against him. Your tough, your dependable, caring, and one of the funniest men I will ever know. Its time to share that with another place and time."

Drago clenched his fist tightly as he listened, a lump formed in his throat knowing that the choice was made and there was no turning back on it. Forcing a smile towards James, Drago reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box which was gift wrapped and handed it to James whom smiled and quickly ripped open the gleaming paper to reveal a golden pocket watch with a picture of them both in Alaska so many years ago standing beside a tribe of Eskimos.

"Thank you James for everything, you showed me a world beyond what I ever knew or could have known. I am here right now because you gave me the motivation I needed to go beyond my comfort zone and learn more then I could ever imagine in a big huge world. I don't know what I will face when I wake up or who I will meet in this new world, but I will never forget... my brother whom.. gave me the best gift anyone man could receive... life.. life without boundaries, without regret. It has been an honor to know you, to be your friend, an no matter how far apart we will be become, one day we will see each other again and throw back some beers, an on the day we will have so many new stories to tell each other."

The two men hugged one last time before James pulled a long box out from his coat and read down placing it inside of the black duffel near Drago's foot, zipping it back up he smiled again.

"Open when you awake Drago, let be a surprise, and know your friendship means more to me then anything in the world and I will never forget you."

Drago slowly opened his eye's as he was meant with a subtle yet bright blur in front of him among the very noticeable cold temperature within the room. It felt like someone had cranked the air conditioning up on a hot day and then broke the switch off by accident. Drago slowly went to exit the pod and his legs almost immediately failed him forcing him to crash to the ground with a heavy painful thud.

"Oh Bloody hell"

Drago swore softly to himself as he reached down and tried to move his legs some, he felt quite fatigued and his legs were painfully numb, no doubt as a result of the hibernation. Pulling his legs in the best he could he had a little mobility as he worked his legs. He suddenly felt a tingling sensation one feel when they inadvertently put their limbs to sleep. Drago hated the sensation but at the same time was relieved to know his legs were still working. Reaching up he grabbed the side of his pod and pulled himself up slowly, his legs tried to give away a couple more time but he willed himself up and stood on his legs. Soon enough the tingling sensation disappeared and Drago's strength slowly started to return to him giving him new life again. With his ability to walk restored Drago took a look around the room and beside the other pods he saw no sign of life. He was not an expert but he at least expected a welcome committee to the new world, or at the very least a hot bowl of soup.

"Yeah Drago don't count on any Campbell chicken noodle anytime soon."

Drago chuckled at his own dumb joke as he walked across the room, the floor was ice cold against his bare feet as he approached the other pods, one held a young woman and approaching the other one revealed a man. They were both still out cold and sleeping, Drago decided against waking them up and earlier the need be and would let them wake up naturally. He did not want to be on the wrong side of someone else's bed again when they awoke. Drago stretched his body from top to bottom, many of his joints cracked a popped, satisfyingly at that as he worked out all the cricks in his body. He wondered what year it was, or how long he had been asleep, or what was going on outside, these questions seemed to poor into his head as he trodded across the large room to a smaller door next to a console on the far wall. Looking at the console, he studied it finding the button that said open, with a click he pressed it, nothing happened.

"Really? Thats weird maybe its just cold or something."

Drago pressed the button again, the doors gave a small hiss and opened like maybe an inch and a half. Drago rolled his eye's as he approached the doors, putting one hand on either side of each door he grunted as he attempted to push them apart. His muscles were not fully awake yet and the task proved harder then it would be, however he was able to wrench the doors apart enough to get inside the room. This room was too empty and void of life, it was the storage space for the personal affects of everyone in the pods, the same room they placed all their items in upon arrival. Drago could really use some clothing, especially socks and shoes at that, pulled the black duffel from one of the racks he was thankful his memory was returning sharply to him otherwise he would have frozen some more in this air conditioned pit. Drago reached into the bag and pulled out a pair of timberland boots along with a pair of socks and set them down on the nearby table, taking out a pair of green cargo pants he quickly slid out of the thin clothing he had worn before going to sleep and put on the pants fastening a canvas buckle around his waste. Placing the black socks on his feet the warmth was a much appreciated change as he laced up the boots on his feet. Reaching back into the bag he pulled out a red long sleeve thermo shirt along with his favorite brown leather coat, it was in that moment he noticed the rectangular box that had been placed among his clothing.

The memory of his and James goodbye quickly hit him dead in the chest like a speeding cannonball and it hit hard. Reaching in slowly he removed the wrapped package gently and placed it on the table. Drago felt a sudden sadness as he realized that James was most likely gone now from this world. Drago reached down and gently pulled back the strips of tape on the packaging and removed the wrapping paper to reveal a carved wooden box of intricate design. Opening it revealed inside a beautiful custom made bowie knife with a matching leather sheath. Drago pulled the blade out revealing beneath it a letter along with a picture, taking out the picture it was the same picture Drago had put in the pocket watch he had given to James before he left, the picture was framed in a leather bound necklace. Picking up the folded piece of paper Drago opened it and silently read it sitting down on the table. Tears formed in the wells of his eye's as he read the words, he reached his hand up silently to wipe them away, looking down he stared at the floor and away from the letter as he sighed heavily and sadly, the reality hitting him so hard.

Folding the letter gently and neatly Drago placed it behind the picture in the leather necklace and placed it over his neck snuggly before covering it with the red long sleeved shirt. taking the bowie knife he looked at it silently noticing it was a special made survival knife with a built in compasses on the end and tough nylon rope in the hilt.

"Well I am here James and I can't say its easy so far knowing your probably gone now. My head is screaming and my chest is aching but I know that it meant the world to you that I be here, that I make a difference and I will. I will miss you terribly but I will not let myself falter, I hope you can hear me wherever you may be and know that I won't fail. We left so much unsaid and so much left to time, but I will see you again one day when my time is up. I promise you though until then I will make this new world whatever it may be the best place I can for whoever I meet."

Placing the sheath on his leg Drago placed the leather coat over his shoulders, placing the empty box back in his duffel he exited the small storage room and back in the main facility room. Upon entering the room he heard a voice saying Wakey Wakey, Drago smiled realizing he must have been in that room awhile or they just came to.

"Glad to see you all awaking, was sure hoping you wouldn't sleep for another thirty years otherwise I would be quite sad playing board games with myself. An trust me, a true debonair of independence, playing board games with yourself can be quite boring. My name is Drago its a pleasure to make your acquaintance. How is our friend here? Hopefully waking up soon, I fear that something might be amiss here, but heres to hoping I am just paranoid."

Drago smiled genuinely with optimism even though in the back of his mind he had a horrible notion that this place being so empty and cold was not just a normal occurrence, he hoped he was wrong, he wanted to be wrong.

Survival Expert - In short drago is an outdoors man, he is capable of living completely free of electricity, man made buildings. This makes him good at building make shift shelters, making fires, making makeshift weapons, living outside of society norms.

Drago has what you might call a rather perplexing past which he has lived up until this point. Having no living family since he was a young baby his life as a child is an unknown variable. Drago's story that is known starts in or around when he was eighteen. Drago lived some of his adult life in the backwoods in Georgia, he was classified mostly as a nomad when people saw him, as Drago always had a love for living off the land instead of living a normal life that society considers comfortable. Always moving around from place to place Drago was always building himself make shift shelters from the land around him. Drago lived a simple life or at least thats the man that people around him saw, no one was aware and still to this day no one is aware that Drago was in actuality quite rich, the circumstances however like everything is unknown how this came to be. With his love of the outdoors being noticed a traveler on summer, Drago was offered a job that he could not refuse, helping to teach others how to live a life without modern day technology. After this point Drago began to travel the world to different locations, teaching different people how to live off the land if all else failed. At the same time Drago improved his own horizons, traveling to many different climates he learned how to live in almost any kind of area if it were to be snow or swamps or even water if it had to be. He taught himself much and learned even more making him one of the best knowledgeable men on the forefront of living without technology. Call it a twist of fate or good luck but it was this skill and knowledge that lead him into hibernation when the world was going into chaos. Believing that his ability to live in different climates would be most valuable he was chosen with a group of other candidates to go underground and reawaken after the world stabilized.

Drago is a massive people person, his appearance and attitude can sometimes come off as cold or uncaring at times but deep down he enjoys company and he enjoys being the light of the party. While he is very adapt at being independent he more often then not prefers company to loneliness. Intelligent and witty he is never at loss for a joke and is very world when it comes to knowledge. A great listener and even better with advice he has a joy for helping people. Optimistic and always one to look on the bright side its almost impossible to be depressed around him, he is quite warm and is a loyal trustworthy person to those who treat him right. Although like a coin Drago does have his duller points, he can be quite the hothead when it comes to someone he cares about being endangered, especially by stupidity of others. He is not one to just lay down and take abuse either, he has no problem getting in your face and will if you press him too far. Strong will by nature he does not quit and never knows when to give up, he will forge on until he can't no more and will never let himself fall to doubt.

Most people find this heavily contradicting for a man like Drago whom lives and breaths outdoor life but he is truly incapable of hunting with self made weapons. He can make you a spear, a bow and arrow, maybe even a pit trap, but he absolutely can not hunt animals of any kind with weapons made from wood and stone. He has to heavily rely on a bowie hunting knife which can really limit him in terms of animals. No one really knows why he is unable to hunt with weapons he makes from the items around him, but if you get the chance to test the theory it is like the circus coming to town early.
