Bio: The battlefield was ragged and torn. The dead lay everywhere. The pitiful PDF had tried to protect the small agricultural town from the horror that had fell upon them, but their weapons had meant nothing to the veterans that had fallen upon them. His heavy boots thudded and he closed in on a man dressed in everyday attire who held a broken leg. Davion grins beneath the grim visage of his helmet. The entire time though there was this screeching that remained unfiltered tearing at his ear drums. He ignored it as best he could as he drank in the terror on the man’s face.

Slowly Davion brought his hand up the pistol shaped flamer leveling at the man in front of him. A single hand came up to ward off the death that the human knew was soon to come as he screamed for mercy. Davion’s finger slowly squeezed the trigger and flames leapt forth. Agonized screams filled the air, and then following it the smell of burning flesh. Davion lingered for a moment before he heard the sounds of power armor behind him. He knew it wasn’t his comrades they had gone further into town seeking out more victims. Slowly he turned to find himself facing a Astartes bearing a Crozius. “Apostle.” Davion said with a voice that sounded like silk being torn in half.

Something strange happened the closer the Apostle got, the screeching turned to music, loud and booming with bass. It pleased Davion and it seemed unusual that suddenly it would change with this man’s arrival. “I see…” Davion stepped towards him. “So there is something to all of this after all.” The Apostle turned and began to walk Davion following him as he did, leaving his brothers to murder the rest of the town as he sought out what this music meant.

Personality: A sadist by its very definition, Davio takes great pleasure and glee in causing as much pain to his enemies before they die, or even helpless victims. He has very little fear in him as that would only impede his ability to move in close and hard with those who seek to stand in his way.

Personal skills: Melee Monster: Davion excels at upclose and personal combat. He loves the sound of crunching bones, tearing armor, ripped flesh. The feeling of blood splashing across him. Nothing can compare.

Terror From Above: Davion is a excellent raptor, and by being such all the more terrifying because of it. As he descends from the skies screams and howls echo from him his furious glee being unleashed as he tears jagged rips through his foes.

Gear: Mark IV Power armor, This armor is Davion’s pride and joy and as such it has twisted and shaped itself to his mindset and needs through the power of the warp, this has caused him to be terrifying to behold as he plummets from the sky.

Raptor Pack: Another piece of equipment he takes great pride in. The pack is cleaned after every use Davion refusing to let it corrode or break down, the pack being almost sacred to him.

Ferrata (Lightning Claw): Davio so loves his weapon he actually named it. The claw having been with him for longer than he can remember. The power weapon easily tearing through foes as he falls upon them from the sky.

Hand Flamer: Nothing quite inspires fear like gouts of flame leaping out at you as your foe closes in, this effect is doubled as Davion comes down from the sky his flames finding his enemies just before his claw does.

Terror Projector: This piece of equipment emits terrible shrieks and howls of the pained cries of Davion’s former victims, it is like music to his ears, and a fear filling sound for his enemies.

@Rithy Guardsman vs Sister of battle. Sisters of battle are well trained women who wear power armor and fire modified versions of a astartes bolter as well as Melta weapons. Storm Troopers are highly trained veterans who typically wear carapace armor and typically carry the best of the weaponry available to the Imperial Guard. Lots of people argue they are about equal. A space marine is a genetically altered human who is incredibly strong, has a inhuman endurance, carries power weapons that other humans would have trouble handling, they wear astartes power armor which is incredibly durable and makes them more powerful than either a Adeptus Sororitas (Sister of Battle) Or a stormtrooper. GREY KNIGHTS are power astartes who take their geneseed (Genetic alterations) straight from the emperor of mankind. They are powerful psykers all and make use of some of the most powerful psychic, and newest technology available. They are generally considered over powered.

That being said. I am not allowing players or even myself to play Astartes (Space Marines) or Grey Knights.

The room was quiet, the silence only broken by the soft footsteps of leather boots stepping across the charred plasteel. All across the room bodies were strewn about guardsmen’s faces locked in their final moments of terror and agony. A single pysker was pinned to the wall by a huge power sword that cracked with chaotic energies, a hand still held onto the pommel, but there was nobody left to claim the hand as it’s own. Inquisitor Dantaya stopped in front of an altar that lay broken in half the prize she had come for pulled free and laying on the floor wide open. The tome was older written by one of the Grey Knight’s order thousands of years ago. She kneeled down and flipped through the pages searching and hoping that the main reason this book had been kept under such heavy guard was still there. Then she came to it, the page that held the name. It was gone ripped from the tome.

Slowly standing up she turned towards the door where a storm trooper stood. Stepping back across the room at a much quicker pace than she had before Dantaya stepped out into a dimly lit hallway and looked down at a stormtrooper. The man was young, but hardened by years of battle and training. She took a deep breath. “Go to the astropath. Send a message to Inquisitor Elman Caphus… The book of Kaphaesus has been tampered with. We no longer have the true name.”

Welcome to the world of Warhammer 40,000 a fantastic universe where all hope seems lost. Only heroes are the small glints of light in the darkness of space. We will be following the adventures of several inquisitorial acolytes and their Inquisitor in a quest to stop a Chaos cult from bringing back a infamous, and powerful Daemon who had been banished to the warp.This quest will take them across the stars, planet to planet, tracking this cult through the murky underbelly of hive cities and across burnt and scarred battlefields.

This RP will allow players to take the roles of acolytes which gives them a range of choices from Stormtroopers, Sisters of Battle, Mechanicus etc. I will say this though Xenos characters will NOT be allowed. I know this is disappointing for some, but this RP is purely Imperium based as far as the PCs. I will be limiting players to non Astartes characters due to the power balance between the them and other Acolytes.

Notable Deeds: Elman has encountered Daemons many times throughout his life as not only a apprentice acolyte, but even more as he earned the title of Inquisitor for himself.His abilities to find those who truly helpful in hunting down the forces of the warp. His most notable efforts were the stopping of several cults from bringing forth warp storms and greater Daemons that would have ravaged entire sectors.

He finally earned his Daemon hammer after arriving to late to stop a cult from summoning a Greater Daemon of Nurgle. He slew the beast after speaking it’s name and banishing it from the world, the only reason this was to come though was because his Acolytes fought the creature while he searched through his Grimoire. They all died, for the greater cause of destroying the Daemon Asyphonamikosus.
