@CriticalHit Maybe I was wrong in the first place

You are, but I do agree with @CriticalHit, good try nonetheless. I do believe that kind of thing is actually something I had planned for another RP, although I don't remember. Either way, for another time. XD

Also, We are waiting on @Ragrar, @Red Helix, and my two partners, both I'm betting are waiting for these three.

@A Blue Chord has a character that is converted later rather than right now, so he doesn't have to post yet if he doesn't want to.

@CriticalHit: Looks good, but I'm still gonna need to talk with my partners about it first. I apologize for not doing so yet; I've been having a bit of a busy few days of late. X_X
@Warborn123 @Bishop

... *Ahem*

Speaking as a Christian myself, I believe for the most part in both points presented by you both.

I believe that God is a being who, if he truly believed our desires were a mistake, would have removed them by now. He has the capabilities to do this as he is all-powerful. He could remove all the evils of the world if he wanted to, much like what the angels have done now in this RP, or he could wipe us all out and essentially push the reset button for life on earth. He's done it before after all, if not via the Great Flood, then by the Asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. (Yes, I'm both a believer of God and Evolution. Christian-Science for life.) He sees value in Desire, the source of all sin, as what could be considered a "necessary evil"...even if some do not see such value.

However, I also believe that, indeed, the Lord HAS changed...But in the exact opposite way that Warborn here suggests. Anybody remember the Old Testament? When God decided to take personal action whenever his children go against his teachings, Said Flood, Banishment of Adam and Eve from Eden, cursing Cain for killing Abel, the Tower of Babel, turning someone into a pillar of salt, the Plagues of Egypt, etc.

Once upon a time, God saw our problematic nature and decided to do something about it every time Humans commit a big no-no. But ever since Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected, suddenly he's not quite as active and into the matters of man any longer. Oh, I believe he still intervenes in subtle ways to help people, but he doesn't get directly involved in their affairs any longer.

But that's just my personal take on the Religion, the both of you are free to differ and believe what you wish. Plus I'm not a big fan of the whole constant religious debate thing and all that, so I'd appreciate leaving the debate here.

NOW THEN, To answer your question, Bishop: "Is God Gone?" I would rather not say, other than in a cryptic way: Yes and No at the same time. You'll understand it all in due time, but for now, all I can really say is that he's both still around and gone at the same time in this case.

As for your other question: Yes, a "Rebel" angel is very likely. ...In fact, we already have an idea of that.

As for me in regards of posts...I'm waiting on everyone else. XD
Mmm. Well, unless someone else likes to, I can create a drama-spawning faction >.>

I would also like to volunteer, if no one minds. I also don't mind working together with someone else. ^_^
Limiting myself to a maximum of one for the moment.

Any plot, direction, clear antagonist?...

I would like to ask the same. I'm a sucker for Modern-fantasy settings, but I would like to know if there's any clear story yet.
@The Jest Well first of all, he'd only be able to drain from one target at a time (may change later on as he gains experience). The rate of said drain wouldn't be enough to make someone pass out within seconds, more so make a target more fatigued & sluggish. (again, may change with time / experience) Furthermore, he'd only be able to handle so much built-up energy in himself at a time. The energy drained would not be able to change forms (i.e electrical to chemical to kinetic) at least at the start. He'd also need to be careful to not "overcharge" someone / something or risk damage to said person or thing.

EDIT: Why did I think it would be a good idea to write this out on mobile?!

You'd be amazed what you can do on a mobile. That first post on the OOC? I made that using only my Wii U tablet. XD

As for the limitations, I'll need to discuss them with my partners. But I don't think there will be too much problems with those in mind. So I suggest you make your CS in the meantime. ^_^
@The Jest Well then I won't use fear, just so there's no dissonance between player and GM. How does energy absortion / redistribution sound? I have a few ideas to limit the power level just in case it sounds too OP.

Hmm...Well, I would like to hear those ideas. ^^
@The Jest

Also jest we may have to remind everyone that they can post now since I've been seeing them look at the page and they never post

I've already tried that by mentioning everyone and telling them that the IC is up.
@The Jest

Is that a yes or a no?

Honestly hard to say. It really depends on if you believe "Unable to understand or comprehend fear = Fearless". If you believe that, then yes. If not, then no.

In this case? I suppose it would mean that, so yes, they are technically fearless. But not for long. ^^
@The Jest Sweet I'll get a CS up momentarily. Just a question real quick. Would a power revolving around fear be possible? In your first OOC post I noticed you said that "all mankind's evils were expunged from their souls" Now would that render others fearless? I just want to be sure I'm not blatantly ignoring your lore.

A good question, you get a thank for that. XD

The answer for that is both yes, and no. It's not really that they are "fearless", it's more like fear is incomprehensible to them, they don't understand fear because nothing in their life would make them fear. As @Warborn123 has put it, the world is filled with happiness and peace, so fear would be an eldritch concept to them.

Destruction, too, is an eldritch concept to them. That's why the objective will be destruction, and from destruction, fear shall follow suit as they struggle to understand. Like an infection that starts to loosen the angels grip upon them.
@CriticalHit Always happy to have a fellow P5 fan: Yes. there is space left. ^_^
