@CollectorOfMyst Aight, sounds good.
@The Jest
1. The Blessed don't have powers themselves, but they can use magic by writing runes and such. Basically, the Runes can manifest magic internally and directly use magic without having to think too much about it, but regular humans like the Blessed have to write spells out, and learn about the runic alphabet in order to tap into that sort of external magic. A lot of Blessed rely on either rune-writing, or good old fashioned modern weaponry. c:
2. Specific positions? It depends on what the position is, I feel. I'm likely going to write for the leader of the Blessed (either via NPC or actual character), and some of the Blessed have specific roles like Head of X, so you're free to ask for a position as long as it isn't already taken or at the tippy top or anything.
3. Nah, I don't think so. They would just have to have had no knowledge that your character would suddenly be in possession of Algiz after its current user dies.
@The Jest When a Rune user dies, the rune suddenly appears on the new person, and the person abruptly finds themselves with the powers corresponding to that rune. So with Algiz, for instance, it's likely they might suddenly accidentally manifest a shield out of nowhere. c:
@The Jest Mmmm, that makes sense. I appreciate it regardless, though, as it shows that you're putting a lot of thought into the roleplay. c:
Considering that Skadi seems to be a fairly prominent figure in Norse mythology, I would say that I'd prefer for you to stick with Surtr for now, and then later on in plot, if we need a Skadi, you'll likely be one of my first candidates for the role. Would that be alright?
@The Jest I appreciate your brushing up on what's been going on so far. :D
And Skadi? Would you mind giving me some info on her real quick? I have a general knowledge of some Norse lore, but I still don't know some of the figures in it, haha. ^^;
@The Jest@CollectorOfMyst Alright, I've marked down both runes as Claimed. c: Looking forward to seeing your characters!
@SantosGabriel77 Glad to see that you're interested! Since the runes have been filled as of now, would you like a World Eater?
@Blueflame I would say take out the multiple forms, if possible- at least for now. Jotuns and wargs can transform into giants and wolves respectively, but I'm not sure if there are any creatures in Norse lore that can transform into shadow creatures. If anyone knows of one that can, however, feel free to call me out on it!
Also, as for the list of Norse World Eaters that are taken off the table, off the top of my head:
Hel
Nidhoggir
Fenrir
Jormungandr
Skoll
Hati
In addition, the Norse gods are off the table by default, although they don't quite count as WEs. c:
(Surtr is also now off the table now that Jest has taken him, but I didn't want it to seem like I was being wishy-washy on whether he was allowed or not, haha)

Downside to Algiz is the possibility of getting Isa leading your team leader. Isa is the worst.

I'll drop you a PM relating to some of the stuff to discuss. =)
Oh heyyy new people! I'm Vt, pleased to meet you.
@The Jest If you're doing a Surt it might be useful for us to talk as I've been doing all the background stuff for Jotun/Fire Jotun up to this point, know what things are happening with them behind the scenes and have a Fire Jotun in play at this moment.
