Engines. loud, obnoxious engines Aidan couldn't understand why Nanite Systems had to make them so loud. These things were meant to drop a squadron into battle, wouldn't they make them a bit quieter? The young man was sitting near the bay doors of a Galaxy, The bright lights shining down on him and the fresh recruits as they flew over the night sky- along with many other galaxies and some Valks. It had been a long, boring ride from the ships stationed above to the continent below, his mind constantly on how to greet his squad mates or on the drills they gave him so he knew how to use his equipment. A gruesome 5 months in training, but he managed to get through...

"Approaching LZ, make sure you have everything in your purses, Ladies!" A scratchy, loud voice came over the radio as the engines started to tilt into their VTOL positions, the map on the bottom left of his visor showing some of the other transport aircraft landing troops. His hands started to search through his pack. Weapons,check, Ammo, yep, grenades, affirmative. Armor Kit, Ja. Um...Oh, MANA, check... The private thought to himself as he checked his gear, yelling "CHECK!" out as soon as he confirmed he had everything. The aircraft started to descend on, hovering above one of the busy platforms that hung above the ground. The bay door let out a small hissing noise and started to open, their safety restraints unlocking and folding back up.

Aidan secured all of his weapons and equipment onto his armor before the grunts started to march on out of the Gal, their brains nervous but their hearts brave.

Appearance: Jakoba is a young, short woman whom spends lots of time in gear. this has lead to her skin to pale into a close to snow color, which even contrasts with her brown hair and amber eyes. Her curly hair is usually cut to under chin length and braided together around the temple of her head so that it doesn't get untidy or in the way of her eyesight. Her head is also home to 3 scars, one from a large knife that nearly cut the bottom of her left ear, another one across the bottom of her jaw from a piece of shrapnel, and a small one from cutting herself when she was young. She is rather skinny, weighing around the 136 mark.

Bio(Minimum of 3 paragraphs, must include some sort of military or combat background/SHOULD put this behind the Colon!):Jakoba was born and raised with her parents on a planet within the KoT jurisdiction.Her family was generally poor, her father having to work in the mines 20 miles south of their residents and her mother on the small farm just outside, their annual income they received from selling the food and herbs a year was barely enough to feed one of them for a month. When she was 13, she was forced to come with her father to help fix the drilling machines, and thus began her obsession with machinery. Everyday she would wander around past the broken fence to try and find something mechanical, dissecting them on the spot with stolen tools and seeing if and how they worked. And although she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her dad, Her mother pulled her to her side and taught her on how to plant vegetables or fruit.

When she was 16, a band of rogues moved into the woods a few miles north of the house. They would pillage and rob settlements, grabbing valuables with their dirty hands and killing anyone who stood in their way of fencing the products. A few months later, her house was attacked by them, wounding her mother heavily and killing her father in the process. Anger replaced the girls fear after that incident, her mind starting to go off-course of it's set path. The men were caught and killed by armed civilians 3 days later, but that didn't bring any relief to her anymore- her view was changed differently. To herself, she felt that the police system wasn't there for the countless people attacked, for the people who worked hard every second they had to be able to afford a slice of bread. Did they think that these people weren't worth saving from any single Criminal?

After Jakoba turn 20, she disappeared from her residence and seemingly the world entirely, seemingly vanished into nothing-along with her fathers now re-outfitted mining gear and a old cartridge pistol, hellbent on bringing justice on criminals. The woman started out with petty criminals, thieves and abusers, but soon found herself going against middle-level gun and drug dealers. One day, she came upon a weapons deal going down in an abandoned section of a town, right next to the river. the men dealing the guns had armed guards at every corner, armed with military-grade weaponry.and Although they had that grade of weaponry, not all could get a shot at her. At the end of the battle, all the guards and the dealers were dead- leaving the wounded Jakoba to herself. The woman made it about a mile away from the site before she collapsed. And as she looked up at the sun, she could see a small blue butterfly flying about. a beautiful little butterfly, flying by like a beacon of happiness and hope... and this spurred Jakoba on, to fight for another day, giving her hope that one day all the bad things in the galaxy would vanish and be replaced by total and absolute happiness...

within 4 years after the attack, she had transitioned from vigilantism to mercenary work, targeting crime organizations and Gang leaders as long as the price was right. Her upfront attitude and above-average reflexes allowing her to maneuver the battlefield and to face tougher opponents head-on. And recently, she had been selected to join the Crimson Legion. But even though she is a mercenary, she can't get rid of the feeling of delivering justice...

She also can be seen in her spare time trying to make her own light thrust pack so she doesn't have to wait to get close to ground to jump.

also, please note this MAY have been rushed as I'm tired and I haven't gotten my BattleStar Galactica fix in DAYS.
